Hey man great video, I'm having kind of a different problem with the trunk and I want to know if even your latch was broken, did you have any warning in the dashboard of open trunk randomly? Or even when the car was parked and locked the alarm went off? Because that is what is happening with mine now, even tho the latch is closing fine and poping open with the remote, did you had any previous problems like those?
Not at all , probably an hour. Strange how jobs are priced some a lot more and some less than they should , as far as hours. Thank you for taking the time to share , much appreciated.

I have heard of this issue , I believe the latch was the culprit. Thanks for the feedback.
