First step, my friend, stop eating foods with labels. It’s the easiest most simple way. Protein, fat, vegetables, fruit. Not too much fruit. Water lots of water. No corporate labels. Label free is freedom. Then next step 🤞🏾 organic. No genetically modified food. Or glysophate. Broccoli is a broccoli. Well put. More great info Zach Bush. Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people because an upsetting event occurs in their lives taking them by surprise, unexpectedly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death.
While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes.
Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way.
It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......

Keto greatly suppressed my sweet tooth so why use fake sweeteners that will reactivate it? Too many keto recipes try to mimic high-carb with fake sweeteners and replacement flours. Thanks Dr. Hyman for making it pretty clear that they’re the wrong way to go. I haven’t used stevia or agave or any of the sugar alcohols and don’t intend to start.

Alluose is a man made chemical from modified corn. Yes it is naturally occurring in small amounts in maple syrup and some other natural foods but that is not what is being massed produced. (Obviously, they would never make any money by getting the allulose out of maple syrup and throwing the rest away.) Think before you hop on the next trendy "food" hype they can make a lot of fast money by selling to you.

Only Allulose and monkfruit better, stevia ok. Occasional honey maple syrup, coconut sugar.
No sugar, low carbs, protein , veges, fats, some whole fruits. No sugar, no starch/ too much sugar and starch.
    Tests:
    1. Fasting Insulin or glucose challenge followed by/with measurement of insulin every 30 min within 2 hours ( should have no spikes, means insulin resistance which is 90 plus to above 100 ).
    2. Cholesterol panel test - triglycerides, HDL small dense LDL/oxidized LDL.
    3. C- Reactive Protein- inflammation because of metabolic syndrome
    4. Uric Acid - too much fructose, sugar
    5. Liver tests- fatty liver
    6. Urine test - urine protein
    7. Low female / male hormones with infertility; masculinization ( high testosterone in women), feminization ( low testosterone in men), acne
    Treatment/protocol:
    - food in whole unprocessed state
    - low in sugar and starch or eliminate/avoid sugar , flour, until metabolically healthy, then can have occasional treat.
    - cut out liquid sugar , starch, flour, calories, artificial sweeteners, starch, flour
    - eat Plant- rich diet:
Veges, nuts, seeds, fruits, wholegrains, beans, whole dairy, organic meat ( not farmed).
Can reverse diabetes with ketogenic diet.
    Sugar is addictive like heroin.
Sweet potatoes and dates, - allowed/flexible, if metabolically healthy, otherwise, restrict or avoid. Restrict until meatbolically healthy. In moderate amounts.
    - Include fat, proteins, nuts, seeds, fiber in food or home-made bread.
    - use continuous glucose monitoring for a few months, to learn about th effects of food in blood sugar.
    - eat salad , protein first before the carbs in a meal.
    - Fungus overgrowth in GIT ( SIBO) in skin, - remove/cut down sugar, carbs, take probiotics, oregano.
    - effects of sugar on brain via insulin resistance. Depressed demented brain or hyper reactive brain.
Affect cognitive function of brain over time , cause dementia ,Alzheimer's, depression ADD.
    -
    Aspartame, have worse neurologic effects.
Allulose, monkfruit, stevia not known yet, the effects, probably not as bad.
Overweight, can not lose weight despite ok blood glucose levels in 80s. - probably high insulin ( use oral glucose tolerance test with insulin measurements over 2 hrs.)
Sugar carbs protein can cause insulin spikes. Only fats cannot cause insulin spikes.
    Diabetic ( ketogenic ) diet, - 70% fat, 5% carbs, protein, veges.
If addicted to sugar: to reset metabolism.
    - 10 day detox diet-
    - Get rid of all artificial sweeteners
    - Paleo-vegan-rich diet
If using sugar - honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar. Occasionally, and home -prepared food.
Read labels of groceries in shop.
    Get rid of sugar, starch.
    No processed foods
    Avoid Non-GMO certified foods
Eat whole foods and food without many steps in food processing.
Give tastebuds time to change. It will take time, to get rid of sugar.
The brain addiction center lights up or stimulated by sugar, like heroin. Also the adrenalin system is stimulated.
Sugar inhibits absorption of minerals and vitamins.
There are many names for sugar now, in ingredients list of groceries.

The American Heart Association recommends an upper limit of 25 grams of added sugar per day for an adult woman. ( Sigh) . Not a lot, but I certainly have never had this stevia use raise my blood sugar. I have also tested later, in a fasted state except for lemon or limeade made with stevia. No rise in blood glucose and steady ketones production.

I could find online that functional medicine is not a proven field of medicine -- David Gorski has described the opening of functional medicine centers at Cleveland Clinic Foundation as an "unfortunate" example of pseudoscientific quackery infiltrating medical academia". What is your response to that?

Medicine is a very conservative, know-it-all, close-minded, slow-to-change field that is further hampered by money-obsessed BIG-MED and BIG-PHARMA. Just look at the multi-billion-dollar statin industry. Drug companies don’t want people learning how to cure metabolic syndrome and naturally fixing LDL/HDL imbalances through lifestyle. They have no incentive to do so. I have studied vegan to carnivore diets and there is a wealth of information about all nutritional approaches. Big-name cardiologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, physicians, nutritionists, and researchers have come down on both sides of this great debate. Dr. Hyman is something of a moderate because he preaches that there is an avenue to health no matter which path you go down. Basically, eat a whole-foods diet low in sugar and simple carbs. Even vegan followers agree with that. After all my research I think vegetable and clean-animal-protein keto is the way to go. Healthy fats, ample protein, lots of veggies, a few fruits and nuts, time-restricted eating, water, exercise, good sleep, and dark chocolate! Can’t argue with success.

He has had to deal with many unresolved health issues for a long period. I think from working in China and being unknowingly exposed, then no one could figure out the problem. He actually looks good for his age, so don't know what you're talking about. 🤔

Blaming sugar for everything is wrong. Insulin isn't the big bad fat storage hormone which causes inflammation either. People were consuming much sugar in the 60s and 70s and didn't have fatty liver. You need to research more... and start with seed oils. Also, if sugar is the big bad guy, why are there millions who thrive on high carb, high fruit and high sugar? That is a fact. All you lot do is jump on a fad and blame either sugar or fat...and most of you have aged considerably (look at Asprey).

American Gluten😭 Everyone is uneducated on food. It is not taught to us in “American schools”. You could have a doctorate and no knowledge on health and nutrition. Even doctors don’t take many nutrition classes. Treat the symptom not the root cause. Tell us why American gluten worse, then let’s all think about that🤔.

Eat real food..my thing is that after lunch and only lunch I want a treat.. so I'm trying to figure out the BEST after lunch something 🤔 fruit maybe? I'm almost 100% off all added sugar...the after lunch treat is the last to go!

Before starting a modified keto diet, I had a huge sweet tooth. That has almost entirely disappeared. I have found that cheating with “treats” or wine leads me down the road to ruin. Sugar addiction is very similar to alcohol addiction. My “treats” are small portions of dark (88% cocoa) chocolate or my homemade nut butter with a scant squirt of organic honey added. Yesterday I combined both to make homemade Nutella (commercial product is very unhealthy). I also have blueberries and raspberries. And they say cherries, particularly tart cherries, have lots of benefits (re: Dr. Purlmutter’s “Drop Acid” book). I gave up high-starch bananas and apples always made me feel hungrier.

Sugar isn’t evil. Losing semen and excessive sex is. No doubt the doctor himself looks physically drained .

The semen goes out anyways in the form of having a wet dream while you’re sleeping. Sugar isn’t inherently evil, but the large corporations pushing out these sugary drinks and treats are.
