HOW TF DO U ONLY HAVE 1K SUBS THESE PIANO COVERS ARE BREATHTAKING I learned from your video '' time'' 2 months ago and ive been playing it every single day since and its still my go to song for wow effect
You're amazing. First you have two hands, then four, then five, then six. (Two hands is never enough for Pink Floyd.) Amazing job. Can't wait for you to finish the other songs.
Just know that you have inspired someone to take on what they never imagined attempting. Your play style has moved me and I now aspire to reach this level of playing. Flawless technique sir, your countless hours of hard work have more than paid off.
So amazing. The piano(s) on part 5 were extraordinary. Brilliant performance Ranjit! I dont know how you figure it all out but please .........keep going!
Thanks very much, Andy! I'm so glad that you are inspired to work on it! The left-hand rolling G-octave at the beginning is really hard to keep playing, for me at least. I wish you luck!
This is incredible. I know youre doing wish you were here in order, but is there any chance you could squeeze echoes in somewhere? I think you could pull off an amazing cover
@@putinscat1208 That version was too short and stuck to the basics. I would be very interested in a piano cover of the entirety of Echoes: It would be very interesting to see his take on various aspects like the avantgarde animals sequence in the middle with piano. If he succeeded in converting Shine On you Crazy Diamond and Welcome To The Machine, with all their aspects and nuances so perfectly to piano, I think he can do it(No pressure, if you're too busy with other stuff).
Wow! Ranjit you've done it again. This is awesome. Makes me want to fire up the K2600X and call up the patch "Shine On" for that low G gritty synth string sound! Keep these videos coming. Looking forward to future installments.
Ah, I too have great memories of messing around with synths back in the 1980s. My axe of choice was the Yamaha DX100. Could not afford the DX7 lol. Thanks for your support David!
Ranjit, thank you for your reply. Love Pink Floyd, grew up through that era, never saw them together live, but did see Dave Gilmour in concert. You definitely bring their spirit out when you play, the little moments when the piece is emphasised or the chords are slightly more complex, are just bang on. So glad I "discovered" you on UA-cam today. Best wishes, Andrew London UK
Hi! How are you? The arrangement is excellent and beautiful. Do you have the score? If necessary I would pay for it by some means of payment, I fell in love with your arrangement and I would love to interpret it. Greetings from Argentina, Buenos Aires! P.D: Please I need that score! It's really amaizing
Hi Ranjit, shine on you is one of my favourite song (with wish you were here) and I love your adaptation. Is there any way to get the scores ? Happy to pay and contribute as you see fit. Best,
Hi Francois! I don't release my scores. However, I purposely use a camera angle that allows you to (hopefully) see the notes I'm playing. Also, if you play the video at a slower speed, that could help you figure it out too. Thanks for your support and good luck learning it!
@@RanjitSouri-PinkFloydPiano that's too bad. i'm sure there's lots of folks like us who aren't as talented as you to attempt to learn ( and remember) this on our own but would love to play along...please reconsider
Hey Ranjit ! Thanks again. For a Floyds lover, this is beautiful. You should start a Patreon and let people pay for you hard work. Maybe this can get you advanced recording tools or sessions in a studio for a tribute album.
This is amazing! Is it possible to share the scores (if there are any?)? I just bought a baby grand ans i'm so excited to play this on my new instrument!
Hello! I've done Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. Currently working on The Wall, which will take me several more years. I don't know whether I will ever do Animals, though I do love that album and it would probably be my next choice if I do another one after The Wall. Thank you!
Hello Salvatore! I do not share my sheets, but thank you for supporting my channel! If you are trying to learn any of these arrangements and you have questions, feel free to ask those questions in UA-cam comments and I will do my best to reply. (I realize that is not the same as having sheets though.) Thanks again!
Great cover but did feel a little rushed in places especially at the start like your timing wasn't quite there, not a criticism as this is an incredibly difficult piece to play on it's own without having to put emotion in your performance as well...
I do agree that timing is one area where I am sometimes a little bit off. In the studio I would have to do many takes in order to try to get things perfect, and I don't want to do that. Thank you for listening to my channel!
Yes. I'm doing all the tracks of WYWH in order. So the remaining ones I will do are, in chronological order, Welcome to the Machine, Have a Cigar, Wish You Were Here, and Shine On Parts VI - IX.
