There's an old filipino joke that says, Filipino taxi drivers make great racecar drivers. They're fast and can maneuver almost anywhere.

During the years when I lived in San Francisco and Oakland just about everyone I knew had a first-person account of a bad Chinese driver. None of these people had a beef with Asians, but they all thought that Chinese drivers were lousy behind the wheel. Speaking from my own experience, my friends in my office who were Chinese nationals were horrible drivers. One of them consistently drove at a slow speed into the curb on the passenger side. It was as if he lacked the ability to judge how far he was from the curb.
Driving too slow is just as dangerous as driving too fast, except when you drive too slow its everyone else that dies.
Distracted drivers who text are just as dangerous as sleepy or inattentive drivers. And I can’t believe I saw, in a video, a driver who drove in reverse the entire stretch of the road without colliding with another driver.

I was on the campus of an HBCU and I was walking by a small 280Z, or something similar, having the the hardest time parallel parking. It was by far the worst attempt I had ever seen. Before I could pause and watch for a few seconds, a young Asian girl jumped out, handed me her keys and asked if I could park her car. I almost laughed out loud but then looked around to make sure I wasn't being pranked. I helped her out and parked it on the first try. She was very grateful.

In Japan, driver's licenses are ridiculously expensive to obtain, and the age at which you can get a license is older than in America... Since a licensed driver from Japan got their license later in life, they generally have less driving experience than someone of the same age in America. You might say it's safer to drive in Japan because there are less accidents, but that's mainly because fewer people drive (due to the existence of an excellent public transportation system). Japan has a massive amount of "paper drivers," people with licenses because they took the test, but many of them do not even own a car, and have very little experience driving a car. An inexperienced driver is a bad driver, and there are a lot more inexperienced drivers in Japan. Of course, this isn't about race so much as culture and laws... but since the people in Japan are mostly of the Asian race, their general inexperience may often fit the stereotype.

Fewer people drive in Japan due to the great public transportation, so the car accident numbers are naturally lower than the USA. I'm sure that if more people in Japan drove, there would be more car accidents.

What about the ones that are just shitty drivers? Bc they think they don't need to follow the road rules and don't care about anyone else on the road. In the past 2 days at almost 37 weeks pregnant I've had to jump on my horn on 4 seperate occasions due to these stupid drivers on the road pulling out infront of me or doing some dumb shit and 3/4 were asian. I'm sick of them thinking they can come over here with a license from their country claiming they can drive, they don't sit the test here or know the road rules so no you fkn can't. I'm tired of driving around feeling unsafe bc no one can fkn drive these days! The whole fkn world has become careless since covid and think they own the road. Everyone should have to resit their tests and be made to recite the rules bc they've clearly been forsaken. Driving should be a responsibility and privledge, not a right! Cars are death traps if you aren't careful. Also if you dont know how to drive then get tf off the road and stay off it.

They bought their driving licence overseas. Namely, it's more convenient for tests to be pushed through via a pay-off than actually taking the test . They don't even follow the highway code in their country of origin - because they have not even been educated in the highway code (refer to ''paying-off'' the test coordinator). Stopping in the middle of a main road just to decide where the turning is is not uncommon. It's a deep lack of conscientiousness. Could you please tell me how that does not fit the definition of bad driving?

Southeast asian may be the best drivers, they have the timing down and they can go through any gap. The problem are the motorcycles. They’re like flies on shit, they squeeze through gaps, cut infront of you and they don’t wear helmets. Most of the accident reports, in thailand at least, are motorcycle accidents.

I live in the UK and we don't have this stereotype. In my observation the worse drivers are the immigrants, we get alot of immigrants from West Africa and Syria, and alot of them are bad drivers, Its just lack of education.
I had an old Asian woman Uber driver one time. I thought I was gonna die. She was going 15-25 in a 35 and I say 15-25 because the speed wasn't consistent at all. It was a lot of gas and a lot of breaks. She was all over the road too. By far the worste driver I've ever seen.

And the biggest thing it is legal to not use ure turn signal in asia, so when they come here its like a total change from where they came from.
