    You are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nitro engines! This affirms my decision to keep the T15 in my newly acquired RTR3. I originally planned to swap for the 15cv-r, but I have been quite happy with the performance and attitude of it. Paired with an os T-1031 pipe, I could not ask for anything more. Thanks for the video!

      Thank you for the kind words JBRC.
      - As you know the T-15 has been under rated all its life but, the folks that use it generally love it.
      - The T-1031 is an OS pipe, correct (PN 72103031)?
      I could be wrong but, I think it is a unique 3 chamber design. Sounds like it’s a nice combo with the T-15
      - Thanks for the comments and for watchn’ 💜

    Yes and that’s a great engine also the G3.0 that you compare d the head colour too!

    • @a2rc
      @a2rc  Рік тому

      Yeah the current G3.0 shares the head color but the shape is a bit different. The T and the G3.0 will show up on the channel in the future.
      - There is an interesting story about the the history/development of the versions that came out. I will share it on one of the future vids.

    Great info. I have a used T15 coming my way for my RS4 2 "rebirth" project. My old engine is locked up, so I figure I can use this and am hoping to be able to swap over the pull start and parts from my old engine to retrofit to the T15 which is not a pull start version. We'll see once I get both torn down. I'll be creating vids on my channel with my findings as I want to document this build along with my "full-size" car builds that I currently have going. Thanks!

    • @a2rc
      @a2rc  Рік тому +1

      That will be an awesome rebuild project. If you can get your T-15 back in action then, it will be a great platform for the RS4 2.
      Thanks for letting me know about it
      As always, I appreciate you and everyone for watchn’ 💟

    I love all your videos man.
    Wish I was as detailed and non-ADD like you.
    Got my new Novarossi in... some people were upset about my new baja...
    Now I don't want to post a video about my new engine bc some people get hurt bc they don't have the money to purchase the same things I do.... So I feel bad.
    I was the very first like on your video today btw...

      - I think wether “we have” or “do not have”, we all live vicariously through each other. I think it is great that you have the means, to not only get a dream Baja but, also for you to share it with everyone. You have a passion for the hobby and I hope everyone see and focuses on that and nothing negative.

    When you go into a motor i hope you have a Dremel to polish your ports and inside the crankshaft i always did that before i put back together it will run more efficiently 😮😎👍

      I do clean up what’s needed and modify some engines but, not all of them
      - Biggest/Most important thing is to tear it all down to clean, inspect and lube. It amazes me how dirty some of the internals can be from sitting and/or the assembly process.
      I have found metal bits, chrome flakes, human hair, dried up assembly lube, brand new Bad bearings, oxidation, dust/dirt on the inside and more.
      - I know it should be perfect from the manufacture but, nothing is ever perfect and if we want our engines to last then, we need to do a double check at minimum

    • @richardbrown6762
      @richardbrown6762 8 місяців тому

      @@a2rc if you find hair inside someone else has been inside but nitro fuel is not clean it causes rust because of the methane 😁

    • @a2rc
      @a2rc  8 місяців тому

      @@richardbrown6762 The hair, metal parts, etc all came from the manufacturing/assembly process.
      - It doesn’t really matter where it comes from, it all just needs to come out to prep for a healthy break-in

    What a great little engine, a bit boring in design compared to older hpi engines but that’s just nitpicking. A black anodized head would’ve been nice on it

    • @a2rc
      @a2rc  Рік тому

      I do think the design of the head was a factor in people buying the engine or not. Most people either love it or hate it.
      It also came out at a time where other manufactures started to make the same or better performing engines. Many “looked” better too. A lot of the RTR engines are under rated and replaced with other big names like OS etc.
      - That’s apart of why I think this engine was over looked at times. The perform factor of the T-15 was still really nice for what it is though.
      Thanks for watchn’ 💜

      @YZ-YZ- Рік тому +1

      @@a2rc For an RTR engine and considering what you get for the money, it’s an excellent value proposition. Certainly a lot of more expensive and worse engines out there that don’t even give you a bushed con rod cough cough
