For those unaware of OO lore. Pre 3rd generation Gundams, the original GN drives had a problem where under certain conditions GN particles can be poisonous. Plutone's GN drive overloaded to critical levels and Chall Acustica could not eject with Plutone's core fighter and the pilots of Abulhool and Astrea had to force the fighter out. This caused the death of Ruido Resonance and Marlene Vlady, Feldt Grace's parents and Chall's hair turned white, developed cellular disorder and had a scar on her left body and eye.
The Plutone is the predecessor of Gundam Artemie, Nadleeh and Virtue. The yellow spherical parts of the suit is capable of generating a GN field but it's unstable and there are plans to improve it. To solve the problem somewhat, Plutone has the GN composite armour where it deploys a GN field in the limited interior of the suits armour. Krung Thep engineers had a plan to equip Plutone with 2 GN drives but the plan was scrapped since synchronizing the drives was too difficult at the time. When Veda made the plan to only show the 3rd Gen Gundams in armed interventions the 2nd gen Gundams were upgraded and transferred over to their black ops team Fereshte where they would carry out shadow armed interventions, provide shadow support for the main team and leave no witnesses. In 2308 Plutone was destroyed after getting into a battle with Team Trinity. In 2309 the innovators recreated black versions of the 2nd gen Gundams and the secret 3rd gen Gundam Sefer Rasiel and the Plutone Black can generate a stable GN field. Fon spaak destroyed the suits and later rebuilt and coloured them in Fereshte colours.

oh!... the last time I bought a p-bandai was HG Cathedral Gundam, bandai sure got lazy on manual now despite being an expensive kit. they only print on assembly guide and took out colored parts including the kit's backstory like every HG kits manual...

More like secret plan when cb operation goes haywire because Tieria activate trial system first time when revealing Nadleeh, and nobody expected the 'fifth' gundam.
It's from the magna sidestory Gundam 00-P as the front of the box art says. It's difficult to find english prints since they release around the time season 1 of Gundam 00 aired in Japan (2007). I only ever read the Mobile Suit Gundam 00-F sidestory (4 volumes).
+@@W3STCOAST23 : I never even heard of it to be honest! I am unaware 00 had a side story besides gundam build fighters. At least? The anime only build fighters.
@@Clee-os6pv Same, only reason I knew about Gundam 00-F was because Barnes and Noble sold them in the magna section back in the early 2010s. Apparently Gundam 00-P takes place prior to season 1 of Gundam 00 and shows the development/prototypes that lead to the main mobile suits while Gundam 00-F takes place during season 1 and revolves around a Research & Development branch of Celestial Being trying to make more GN drives (the pseudo-drives) and ultimately made the mobile suits for season 2 and the movie of Gundam 00.

Too much piled product for poor sales gunpla in market especially in domestic market made Bandai extra cautious for releasing side-story and msv wich is mostly niche or obscure for mainstream fans. P-Bandai made them print/produce according to demand, without risk the item will piled up in store. We already know piled up product means that product failed as retail release and that's mean loss for bandai. Japan's economy condition was another factor why P-Bandai exist.
