that was one of the reads of all time
raw gold into an enrichment chamber gives 4 gold per 3 gold ore, turn into diamonds, loop. You can use 1 raw gold block to make 12 gold dust with 1 operation and just start a fleet of furnaces to keep up. Roughly one basic enrichment chamber to 1 ultimate smelter in mek. Expand as needed, makes like 10/15k EMC/s per 1 enrichment/ultimate smelter combo.
Was thinking about power, it takes like 2 mk2 collecters to power an ethylene gas powered gen, and that will carry any base to big reactors/fission/fusion kind of power alone, much less with a couple generators.

@@onefinelad6263 Personally I use frost dynamo since a 9emc blue ice produces 340,000 rf at 4800 a tick but also I moved away from gold with mek since the furnaces were annoying since they are not fast enough and needed 3 per enrichment to just using a crafter i take in redstone blocks and use tome of alkhestry to make diamonds although to scale it better I am planning on excporting double compressed redstone uncompressing it in one crafter than using multiple crafters to make the diamonds since each one crafting diamonds is netting me +70k a second and uses very little power space or cost.
Yeah but you'll need power to get nitro reactor.
This could also be done with AE2 or Refined Storage but I am unsure of how fast it would be in comparison I am debating trying to see what the difference would be but doubt that AE2 could keep up with even a single autocrafter.

Oceanographer gives you 4 sea lanterns for 2 emeralds on level 1, which is worth ~14,000 emc. Can do a stack at a time, so ~200,000 for 16 emeralds.

I found that using any villagers to gain emeralds (florist: 3 clay pots for 1 emerald, farmer: 20 wheat for 1 emerald, ...) and then trading with an oceanographer to gain sea lantern works pretty well for the first few million emc, and with netherite you can make the trading automatic as well
brewer can get you 1 emerald for 1 emc with glass bottles!!!!
I use them as well with lapis lazuli for EMC

I used create to wash soul sand into quartz that goes in to a condenser making more soul sand as my early EMC generator. Works great!
Apotheosis spawner max with endermen and maxed mob masher is insane, got me through the early and mid game easily

I don't rarely comment on videos, But I really appreciate the daily upload of this mod, I used to have to wait for the playlist so I could binge watch once it was completed but you're on it man!

My first emc farm was a massive sugar cane farm on top of snad. I used block breakers to break the blocks, and then vacuumed them all into a condenser to turn them into diamonds.
best "farm" is using magma cream on the queen bee. One stack of magama cream is 2048 EMC, once traded its ~ 160k EMC.
I will say that this one was a broken EMC values issue... Not a normal method
I’ve just built my very first beginner method of generating emc. I got lucky and found a silk touch book and while mining I found a zombie spawner.
So I made a high platform from which the zombies fell onto hoppers and the items went into an energy condenser. Not a lot of emc but more than nothing ^^
Just started this pack a couple hours ago, and I love it! I wish I had more time to play. I remember playing project mods years and years ago, so I started as I would with a destruction catalyst and glowstone dust. I mined my first couple million EMC to get a power flower T1 up and running, with the general plan of doing an array of flowers with watches of flowing time, but got distracted in the nether by these purple and blue colored mini-bosses that dropped magic items and that system with the gem slots and stuff was really cool. I want to watch your other episodes but I haven’t got the chance yet, but the automation seems like it’ll be a much more fun and stable way of progression. I had seen some of the mid-end game items were in the 10^18 or even higher ranges of emc cost which I’d be hard pressed to get to even a rounding error % of the way there with my power flower plan 😂.
to transform iron to emc, you could craft it with redstone to make medium convalence dust
or use an alchemical chest to collect iron and make pearls all in one block.
Add a chest and a 5th iron to double every 4 iron by making hoppers. Chests have emc, diamonds too.
Energy condenser gives diamonds and chests, auto craft diamonds to iron, craft into chests. You make almost 50% returns, is scaleable, available once you get glowstone diamond and redstone, and requires zero input from farms, it's pure emc to start and end.

@@80llo As @mattyicee said, it might be better for you. But the overall capabilities of AE2 for automation is superior to RS by far. So I don't see it being better in any way for me. And I'm used to AE2 by now so.
@@Tidariis it might be better for you. But for me that like to do speedruns rs is way better as it is faster and cheaper to set up and I dont need to automate every resource anyway

for emc generation, i used hoppers. They are worth quite a bit more than the sum of their parts. Pull out as much raw iron as you can, smelt it up and then grab chests and profit.
Head to the Nether and look for a Quartz Flats biome. The entire thing is made of Smooth Quartz Blocks worth 1,024 EMC each. You can veinmine stacks at 65k each. Super easy way to get to millions of EMC to start getting into condensers. I've also found that an automatic bonemeal-based bamboo farm is an excellent early EMC farm with condensers. Bonemeal costs 9 EMC and will produce 1-3 bamboo worth 32 each.
Update to this: smooth Quartz no longer has EMC. If you want to do this, you need a Mekanism enrichment chamber to process the Quartz blocks
@@williamhenby952 Yes, it's too bad but probably the right move. Now I'd say the best early EMC generation would be a Snad/Cyclic Sugarcane farm, or else rush the Bumblezone and try to vein mine the combs. Oceanographer Villagers are another great option, but they require netherite to automate. Granted, rushing netherite is pretty easy in this pack, so it would probably be worth it.

I made certus quartz crystal farm for early emc. Just get flawless budding certus quartz with cardboard box, surround them with crowth accelerators and use modular routers to farm. Thermo generators for easy power.
I actually made a create tree farm right away to help get emc going. It's not alot but it's anof for the beginning

I use Easy Villagers too, couple of wool blocks into emeralds and emeralds into sea lanterns. It's insanely efficient (for a first farm) with multiple auto traders
For people that are playing on a later version of the pack, the sophisticated barrel doesn't have an EMC value like it does in the video!
Yep... It was a mistake on my part lol not a huge deal though honestly it's just a regular barrel crafted with a Redstone torch both being EMCable

@@ChosenArchitect it means balance which is both good and evil, order and chaos. yin stands for darkness, evil, and chaos while yang stands for light, good, and order. together they make yin-yang which is the balance of all things both good and bad with peace just being half of it.
got a setup with two autotraders, first with a florist which gives me 1 emerald for 3 flowerpots (stack emc: 144) and the second trader with a oceanographer villager which gives me 4 sea lantern (stack emc: 14336) for 2 emeralds. In sum you trade 6 flower pots into 4 sea lanterns, 288 emc --> 14336. Just incredible :D
You could too use Integrated dynamics, a easy nice way to access to your inventory everywhere and it doest cost energy and for your ressources in one case and craft table a you got a nice crafting which will run without energy too. And it does so much its surely one of the most powerful mod in your modpack.
I use magma block to magma cream it's a good emc source
It's been nerfed unfortunately. The EMC values have been adjusted.

For my playthough of this pack early on I made a sugar cane farm with snad. I have an observer powering pistons and I have a redstone clock that constantly sends tics of signal to the snad. It produces over 1M EMC an hour!

Destruction catalyst + Gem of eternal density + magnet + backup (void upgrade, magnet upgrade, basically designed to void all stone and pebbles). Just spammed it a bunch then upgraded to the Hyperkinetic lens.
Set the gem to condense to something of high value, then I got 50mil emc easy
i actually used a personal emc link into a florist villager which gets auto traded with pots into cheap emeralds. i then use those emeralds in an oceanographer to trade 2 emeralds into 4 sea lanterns worth 14336 emc!
I just made my early storage, integrated dynamics is a good option too

This is kinda far but the laser base with purple lens in the end gives draconian ore than you can use the entangled to extract it from the overworked then crush it in a squeeze for 2 to 3 dust which is 16000 per dust and you can get 30 ore per minute pretty quickly really reliable.

Mining with fortune 3 works great for first million or so the I just started tearing down an ocean monument prismarin gives lots of emc

Use the matter condenser from AE2 and a sink to pipe infinite water into it to produce infinite matter balls, which are 512 emc each. With some pipe upgrades (which you can get from quest rewards) you can get a lot of emc. I got around 1 million emc in a couple minutes with an ultimate pipe upgrade from quest rewards, which is… kinda broken.
As mentioned by another commenter, you can head to the Nether and look for a Quartz Flats biome. The entire thing is made of Smooth Quartz Blocks worth 1,024 EMC each. You can vein-mine stacks at 65k each. the best way to do this fast is to have a tool with the Alchemical Conversion enchantment I think it is called. It auto transmutes mined blocks and such into EMC if they have a value. It works on ores that drop raw ores too and is great with high fortune. You can also mine up the large groups of glowstone for good early EMC with that kind of tool.
Ther is the Cactus / Snad emc farm, it is super fast, and an absorption hoppeer, EMC for days!
1/ theres a smooth quartz biome in the nether, it has 1k+/block. Excavating a lil bit and youll get mils of emc. The problem is just,.. finding the biome.
2/ setting up a mob farm and a energy condenser!, i used 9 eggs from mob utilities sized and passively getting a good amount of emc.
3/ using Tome of Alkahestry! you can literally DUPLICATE the amounts of emc you currently have by charge it with redstone and duplicate diamond.
I find that a mason is one of the best villagers to get emeralds from because they trade for cheap materials like 16 andesite for an emerald, so 16 emc a pop. I got an emc link hooked up to some auto traders and then feed those auto traders into oceanographer auto trades for sea lanterns (which are surprising valuable)
Redstone crafted into a 2x2 then squeezed gets you more than you initially put into it
Crusher macerator on magma blocks, a huge EMC difference, basically you can scale to power but it's exponential.
I use create to convert sand into soul sand, send it to a condenser to turn back into sand and profit on the 48emc difference
I just use Bamboo. It's worth 32 emc, there's a bamboo forest on Chosen's seed really close to spawn. I cleared out the forest, flattened the ground, and replanted it really close together. Go do stuff while it grows. Vein mine a plane so it knocks out them all. It all falls and I EMC it.
I make 32x16x128 every harvest. I make a little over 65k/3200 seconds without any tools, crafting, or machinery.
It feels like an oversight because I can expand it indefinitely and only add the time it takes to harvest to the overall time.
What probably is an oversight is Bamboo leaves can't be EMC'd and cobblestone bricks can't be but all the variety of cobbled brick CAN.
Crushing macerator can turn leather armour from mob farms into leather which has EMC.
Enchanted hoe with fortune + growth, planting magebloom seeds and placing an energy condenser with an advanced item collector (the advanced one has filtering), the crops grows instantly and if you doesn’t use the ultimine, the fortune will increase your drops including seed drops that also has EMC
I'm currently using the enrichment chamber from mekanism to dupe redstone. I'm getting 12 redstone by enriching a 2x2 craft of redstone. So I'm just constantly turning 4 redstone into 12 redstone over and over and over and over again.
I did auto traders using a energy collector and condenser combo to make sticks that get trade from sticks to emeralds to enderpearls. 3 fletchers will produce more emeralds than the one cleric can handle.

I lucked out in exploring and found the components I needed to get into modular routers and to make the Energy condenser. I currently have 8 router based cobble generators, and a cow crusher with a trough from quark. I also have villagers growing crops. I have everything being dumped into the condenser to make diamonds, except the wheat which is fed into the trough in the cow crusher. Been a bit of a grind, but I Ave worked my way up to making and storing dark matter. I am currently manually dumping the diamonds into my transmutation table. Goal was to get up to making a tablet, and infinite beef, plus working towards energy collectors and relays. Only 6 minutes in on this vid and looking at probably copying your setup for more emc.
Perhaps the best way I've found to generate EMC from villagers is to trade amethyst shards to the Miner villager (1 shard = 4 emeralds, 10 trades per cycle), then buy Hearts of the Sea from the Oceanographer (base is 8 emeralds per, but you can always get that down). Throw them into Auto Traders and you have a system that gives you 32,768EMC per Emerald bought for roughly 8 EMC. You can also cure that Miner villager down to trade one cobblestone per emerald, but there's only 8 trades per cycle there.
making hopper for EMC, it's easy to make and give you double the EMC you spent.
Highly likely this is a EMC value bug and will be patched out soon btw
A create tree farm is honestly a simple and good way to get emc early game. Especially if you use spruce trees since those get you tons of wood
Nah it’s pretty bad,with a easy manual villager farm you can make a million + per in game day
One of the best power source is a heat generator from makanism . You just need to surround it with lava and it will generate power
i turn 4 redstone into 1 raw redstone block, which has several processing options that give much more redstone back with atleast 8 redstone profit. if you speed up the machines with upgrades this can go very hard very quickly
straight out mining smooth quartz from that 1 biome of incendium makes millions of EMC, and repairing the pick with diamonds and an anvil is very easy

Sorry for the boring comment, but i got a transmutation tablet super early in and rather than keeping it for convenience sake i used the emc to create a mid tier power flower that makes me a good chunk of emc while i mine or work on other things lol

I do automatic trader from easy villagers, I insert 1 amethyst for 4 emerald into a spelunker villager(you need to get them to lvl 4 for this trade) and then emeralds for sea lanterns in the oceanographer. Amethyst is only 30emc so its super easy to just have an energy condenser feeding them to the villagers with just one energy collector, or manually
Take certus quartz block, dump in water with 4 charged certus crystals, item collect flawed block and place next to crystal growth accelerator, mine crystals with miner block and max fonrtune pick, till it turns back into certus quartz block, sensor->breaker and dump into water with 4 charged certus again. All nicely automated, takes a bit of charged crystals and turns into many many uncharged crystals.
I just picked up a blaze spawner with the Cut Paste gadget and set up a Mob Grinding Util farm with maximum looting upgrade.
The blaze rods are good, but you also get quite some Cores from Reliquary to give an extra boost.
Is there a way to sync the EMC between players? and also having the same items in the Transmutation Table? Maybe like a Team mode
Yes! There is a book that will let you share what you have learned however there is not a way to sync up the values that you store

You can use Boon of Earth with an auto-smelt pickaxe module(use diamond tier and above) from modular router in front of a module router with a place module in front of it with stone in it.
We have cursed soil along with 2 blaze spawners in a dark room with fans pushing the mobs into a mob masher that's been upgraded with fortune. Pump all the drops that have emc values into a converting chest. we craft diamond blocks to gain emc
Barely an hour in, I noticed that 4 redstone turns into raw redstone blocks. Which then turn into 12 redstone when squeezed or enriched.
I used a Create spinning bamboo farm. If you use a windmill bearing and sails, you won't use SU.
Hey chosen i don't know if you saw my comment on your last video but i believe theres a bug that makes you appear about 2000 blocks away from the dragon when you go to the end (or my world is just broken)
It happened to me too
I spawned 1000 blocks out. I don’t think it is a bug though. I think it is a feature of the end mod being used that spawns you in the outer end to make the dragon an endgame feature rather than a gateway to the outer end.

I use the feathers from the air balloons in the air villages gives you about 1.5 mil emc per baloon takes a long time tho
I found using florists to sell pots, then selling to a converted oceanographer for 2 ems for a heart of the ocean was easy couple million for me. More involved but you turn 300emc to 32k quite easily.
My farm uses the difference in emc for magma cream and magma blocks, if you use a crusher on magma block it could give you up to 4 magma cream which is forth around 4,000 emc from one magma block (about 100 emc)

Redstone clock from cyclic on SNAD with bamboo is crazy fast early game EMC. Cyclic block breakers are a pain to craft but are very simple to set up and use. I got 10’s of millions EMC in just a couple hours. RIP frames though. 4 bamboo chutes generates bamboo faster than a condenser can convert. The cyclic clocks are variable which is very nice. 5 ticks on the clock is what I worked best for me.
A builder with quarry card, piped into energy condenser.
The shape can be something stupid, like 200x200x200.
Early power is easily obtained from a furnace (obsidian level is easy) with generation augment, it won't be enough, but it will work.
While it works, set up a powah reactor and upgrade to hardened, then blazing and niotic (at this point it will generate more than required).
Upgrade to fortune quarry asap, add a second condenser (round robin in the pipe and a diamond upgrade).
Replace condensers with one mk2, sit back and relax.
I don't even have a house yet, but I have red matter tools and armor already :)
Auto blaze farm. With 2 spawners I'm getting a bunch of emc per hour. I seperate the hearts into an storage area and the rest into a energy condensor.
EMC Generator: Mage bloom bone meal repeater allows for some early EMC boost.
Farmer's 20 rice (20 emc) to emerald and 2 emeralds into 4 sea lanterns from Ocean villager guy. Basically 20 emc for 7k. One annoying part is getting the Rice trade but its doable.
I found a pretty big vein of daconium in the nether and started working on ProjectE energy collectors now I have a max level ProjectE generator
i used a mob farm then i made a energy condenser to make diamonds with a emc gen set up

I would love to see you using the RS storage system. I think you can do so much with it, and i wanna see your solutions for problems. I think AE is more flexible if you set it up once, but with RS storage you always got a challenge for automating something. :)
Mob farm is the best early game emc farm!!
I wouldn't say it's super early but 100% a solid passive way to generate emc for sure :D
Create tree farm with massive single sapling trees. Then I dumped directly into an energy condenser. Then use a Sophisticated barrel with void upgrade for the twigs.
I am currently using 2 auto traders, one is turning 1 melon block into 1 emerald and than turning the emerald into 1 Heart of the sea so im basically converting 144 emc (or farming the melons) into 32K emc
Haunting sand via create works as really fast EMC for me.
I recommend trying to break a villagers work station before picking them up, I've found that if you take them far away they will never realize their workstation was broken and won't be able to reassign. This actually can happen in vanilla too if you transport them too far
I think you can fix this by chunk loading where there station is, I think the issue is that the villager and where they think their station is needs loaded at the same time but I haven't tested this
best emc early game is to simply make a starter enderman farm, lots of pearls, and you can make it even better using backpacks/item collectors.
AE2, my favourite mod
cyclic macerator turns beef into 4 rotten flesh and bones that more than doubles the emc value.
Apotheosis gems + apotheosis enchanted pickaxe with devour or mending, fortune, efficiency, and any other enchants you want then get a backpack with the auto feed upgrade fill that bad boy with food and the ultimine the crap outta the deep slate boom a bunch of EMC
You can make an item (charm), which I am pretty sure is from apotheosis, which can be used to regenerate your durability by 1 every second, should with with things like the slings shot, slime boots, and just generald tools :D

I saved up about 200k worth of EMC, and put together an RFTools builder to mine. I have a Mekanism Energy cube to keep everything powered along with a (very lucky) hardened Solar Panel from thermal.
I spent what I had left over for a 3x3x3 "Bigger Reactor". I let it mine, dumped the goodies into the table, and repeat. Once I had enough to expand the reactor, I made it bigger which let my miner run longer. Etc, etc, etc. I'm at a 6x6x6 now, and once I have enough EMC stored up, I can use the ProjectE block that allows you to input/output items and turn them into EMC, and hook that to the output of my miner. At a certain point, it'll essentially be an unlimited EMC farm.
Mob farm is my go to. Mob farm into backpack into condenser for diamond block.
I’d like to see you use refined storage. I haven’t really seen you use it in any of your recent playthroughs
