I think this is probably the best world/channel out there. I don't even particularly like Victorian architectural styles but the quality (of the builds and channel itself) is just so high it's incredible
May I reccomend maybe the National Liberal Club or something for having along the river. That could work quite well, There are a lot of great buildings on the Victoria Embankment taht could work lovely.
That’s how these videos will be going forward. The previous set of videos were centred around already built parts of town that were being rebuilt for a time lapse
Literally started watching in the last hour and I must say I'm loving the idea of building a British city. Most cities you see being built are of an American design/influence so it's lovely to see something like this. Kinda makes me want to get back in to building like this again. Haven't done something like this since 2016. Anyways, I need to get back to recording. Looking forward to the next one!
I love this type of video the most. I get to see your thought process and a satisfying build time lapse as well. Keep these up! Also can't wait for a map that we can see of the city ( You mentioned you were making one in a previous vid )
Its truely incredible how well you and the others are able to plan everything! I just build on a superflat which kills the nice landscaping factors. Of course I could terraform but I play on bedrock with no plug-ins. Keep up the great work!
For the railway, I would suggest Metropolitan Railway locomotives and carriages. These would add to the Victorian feel of the railway you have built. You could even go for electric trains as these were introduced in the early 1900s on the Underground. The railway station looks brilliant, the way it's been built lower than the river and surrounding building just gives it that Metropolitan look. Perhaps a station inspired by Baker Street could be built at a different location in the city?
Yes for the other sections of underground lines in and around the city we will be using electric trains. This line actually part of the wider national rail network so has larger, freight engines running along here as well (which are the ones shown in the video)
Love the way you plan , i am a subscriber for a while now but never really watched your videos until now. I have to say Amazing !! Kinda regretting not watching al these time
1st of all I loved being able to see you kind of design this whole area it was really educational and helpful. 2nd of all to answer your question, yes I would love to see you build townhouses in the next video. Awesome video :3
Your history of Whiteburg really inspired me. You always had a good sense of size and scale, and I realized that I just need a little bit more practice… maybe one of these days I will learn how to use world painter and world edit…
I'm so glad I discovered this project, I'm really excited to see how it turns out, I recently got into like trying to build a bit more seriously in Minecraft... Can't wait for more!!!
I absolutely love and adore planning videos like this, it gives so much inspiration for my own city projects and how things like these are handled and overall planned out, i can’t wait to see more planning videos and the journey/progression of your world as a whole.
25:29 - Maybe I don’t understand something, but what should this tree grow from?) How many blocks are there between the arch and the ground? 4, maybe 5? It seems to me that this will not be enough for the roots. P.S. Not to mention that the tunnel, in close proximity to the surface, does not seem to be able to support the weight of half the church (maybe I'm wrong).
Those iron girders will be able to support the ground and the church above it. They are built under the church in a trench and the rest dug out from under that as brick supporting walls are constructed to the ground. This was common practice for much of the early underground railway building in London. The trees will have been moved here and matured over time. As this tunnel was built 40 years before the present day (in our world it’s 1912)

Between 1:1 and 1:1.5. Train tracks are a bigger scale just due to the nature of the game. The work we are building still feels normal to walk around and interact with, so I don’t see any issues with the slightly larger scale
@@ГлебДемьяненко-п5в The map/server is built in the Java edition of minecraft is my point. It won’t be released in pocket edition as that is a completely different version of minecraft. Also the world files of the server are likely already too large to provide a download (you’re probably looking at a file size of 10-20gbs+ already).
Inspiring stuff. The dedication and passion you hold for this seems endless..
Thank you! I have a lot of drive with this project so really want to see it through

Town house video sound great !

It's great to see the "behind the curtains" planning and terraforming strategy. Great vid!

Id love seeing an entire episode of townhouses! Id want to know how to make relatively simple townhouses but all of them look slightly different!

this was a good hectic episode. Enjoyed witnessing your planning/execution in real time

I feel like the best quality to watch the intro "News" section is 240p, it just feels right.

A recommendation: Can you make a museum sometime in the future?
In Düsseldorf (Germany) we have a „Pegeluhr“ (Level Meter?) it shows how high the River is. Could be a nice detail for this
regarding the rails on the thumbnail, reverse the stairs on the ends of the spans and they will connect edge to edge
Thanks for the tips, but I think it works well as it does
Soo Nice idees !!!
good video
How do you know which line goes first? My head would be Chaos.
Yaay, new video :D
Great choice of Music. What is it called?
Not sure, the genre of it is electro swing
do you have a build team that we can join and help you out?

What mods are on this server?
How did you create the terrain of your world? Is it world painter?
It’s a normally generated world that I put into world painter and chopped the top of.
@@WBCBuilds Thanks brother!
Where can I find the server IP?

@@WBCBuilds thanks alot for the answer.
I hope WW2 won't destroy 90% of the city's architecture. Like in Berlin, Dresden or any other German city.
look nice, A shame I cant be a part of that (not that good with building after real buildings, or for that matter I cant build as good as shown here)
Well practice is the only way to improve. See the video on my channel where I look back at my last 10 years playing this game
Please tutorial your costruction
