Honestly. I thought that part was the turning-point in Bojacks life. Then I continued to watch and was disappointed by how continuously depressive the show was.
The show went off the rails after season 4. I still rewatch the first 4 seasons but i like to pretend the show ended then. I could only watch S5 and 6 once. S5 was a depressing downward spiral, and S6 was just a melancholic mess of the writers trying to conclude character arcs so they could focus on their new show.

@@TheCnicus Bojack's downward spiral was depressing, but ALSO very honest. Bojack was a shitty person, who constantly tried to self-justify his shitty behavior. Eventually, that shit catches up with you, and everyone around you starts to walk away from your toxicity. By S6, all the skeletons came pouring out of the closet, and Bojack had to account for them. If the writers had let Bojack get away with everything, I would've been disappointed.

I cant remember the last time i had 5 hours never mind 8. I suffer from chronic pain so i take morphine about half hour before bed and it lasts about 4 hours then im woken up with pain.
I don’t know how anyone sleeps an entire 8 hours without waking up. I have to get up to pee at least one or two times every night.

Bill offers some sage advice here about cravings. Another thing that I have personally found helpful, and heard many researchers talk about, is setting yourself up for success by setting short, medium, and long term tangible/measurable goals. When we are suffering through discomfort, ie resisting cravings, keeping those goals in mind and celebrating when we accomplish even small ones hits our reward centers and reinforces the behavior. I hear people who have gone through AA talk about: if staying sober for one day is too much, then think about staying sober for 1 hour, or 1 minute, etc... until you find a unit of time the seems dooable, and keep focusing on that increment of time.
