I haven't been a fan of Ethan or his content for a while now, but this was delightful. I think the issue is that XQC doesn't care and neither does his audience, his only goal is not to get into any legal trouble that might threaten his income.
I like XQC but he deserves these thrashings for constantly trying to be something he's not. He entertains cuz he's funny, not because he's somekind of high tier debater.
When xQc started insulting Ethan's physical appearance, you already know he lost lol. That's not a debate if you take the easy route to insult someone's looks instead of actually addressing the points.
This was hands-down, the most maddeningly frustrating thing to listen to and witness because this man was not interested in actually having a discussion or a conversation about any of this. He was completely obsessed, and 100% focused on jumping on almost every single word that came out of Ethan‘s mouth, trying to get a “gotcha moment” instead of engaging with any of Ethan’s points in any consistent or meaningful way whatsoever.
Well, no. XQC's win condition was to get Ethan to stop shit talking him about fair use when Ethan violates it all the time. It wasn't to make a legal argument about why intellectual property rights don't matter or have an argument on what "transformative" even means.
Regardless if folks like him or not, Ethan has done SO MUCH for fair use rights with his lawsuits. It’s fascinating to see someone think they know better than him on fair use especially when they are abusing it.
It’s really cool to see Hila come out of her shell throughout the years. Compared to when they first started making videos to now she is so much more confident and able to speak freely. She can stand up for herself and her company when before she probably wouldn’t have been able to do that. I can tell running her own company and becoming a mother has made her more self assured. It’s inspiring.
Agreed. It's cool for all of us who've watched them both grow and fully become the people/couple they are today. It seems like they really understand one another so well and it's great to see them stick up for one another but also wholly capable of owning their own actions. I’m Simone who has been watching since 2015 and I kinda disliked where the podcast was going so I took a break, but lately I’ve been checking in and I have to say, the podcast has really improved and I’m impressed with Ethan and the whole teams grow as podcasters. But this feels like inspired 2016 top of his game H3 and it’s cool to see him happy and inspired again.

WOW....I haven't been watching as much H3 content as I used to, but I just stumbled upon this video while doing some writing and it is as intriguing as it is perplexing to watch. I don't know much of anything about this XQC guy but holy shit is this guy is willfully digging his own grave whether he realizes it or not. I'm less than half of the way through the vid and from the jump he EXUDES the aura of guilt. His reaction to any accusation is sarcasm, anger, and deflection. However, there are a ton of streamers and content creators who also have learned english as a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc language and are able to be understood VERY clearly after spending half the time learning and half the time online. WOW....I haven't been watching as much H3 content as I used to, but I just stumbled upon this video while doing some writing and it is as intriguing as it is perplexing to watch. sadly, this IS his content, and this is exactly how he handles himself in all debate situations. Hasan talking xqc through things in the past has been painful because it's like trying to explain right and wrong to a two-year-old who just keeps screaming things you can't understand. just listen to him talk normally. XQC isn't a native english speaker and I give a lottttt of space there. However, there are a ton of streamers and content creators who also have learned english as a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc language and are able to be understood VERY clearly after spending half the time learning and half the time online. Also, a swedish accent isn't hard to understand. I don't think he even has that though. the way he speaks is almost it's own language.
