5Ds surely had some great summoning scenes. For me the best were when Yusei summoned and there was "Clear Mind" playing in the background. That always gave me goosebumps.
"When two becone one, a new power is born. Synchro Summon. Junk Warrior!" Is single-handedly one of my faves, I may be misquoting buts along those lines.
Jack is the best YGO rivals character hands down. He grown a lot since his first introduction as Kaiba clone into a true warrior. He traded his vanity for pride, his arrogance with honor, and his betrayal with loyalty and bravery.
My favourite scene is when Aki summons both Black Rose Dragon and Stardust Dragon in the same turn during a Riding Duel, blindsiding nearly everyone. Or when Yusei summons each of the support character's dragons against Z-ONE, while splitscreening the summon chant with them.
One of my favourite chants from 5D's is when Akiza/Aki summons both Black Rose Dragon and Stardust Dragon. Or when Yusei summons the other Signer Dragons. It's really fun and different to hear someone summon someone else's signature monster.
It also have this chants on Duel Links, when Yusei summons Red Dragon Archfiend, he says "The soul of my friend" and i like that. Izayoi Aki prays for Yusei's strengh when She summons Stardust
Fun fact: Since the Earthbound Immortal names are in Quechua, the modern descendant of the original Inca language, there's actually both a real meaning and a true pronunciation to every Earthbound name! Let's start with everyone's favorite, Ccpac Apu. Literally translated, it just means "tall man" or "big man", as there isn't a Quechua word for "giant". And, that double C everyone says "kuh kuh" over? It's pronounced like the "ch" in Middle Eastern names, a heavy H in the back of your throat (and, yes, Ccarayhua, the "tongue lizard", also has its double C pronounced that way). Meaning that "Ccpac" is pronounced "huh - pack", and, by extension, Ccarayhua is pronounced "Ha - rye - wha".
Now THIS is what I’m talking about! I just love chanting when I summon one of my favorite monsters it just feels SO empowering! Like I’m imbuing my own power into my monsters.
My favourite has to be Rua with life-stream. Not for the spectacle, not for chant, not even for the evolution of his signature Power Tool Dragon. It's because this poor dude has always been outclassed, overshadowed and been losing most duels he's been in and seeing him finally get his moment, to save those who have been saving him throughout the whole series, always brings a tear to my eye
Shooting Star Dragon, Shooting Quasar Dragon, Winged Dragon of Ra are probably my top 3 favorite ones because of how impactful they were. Its something that I wished the dubbed did far more often when it came to characters summoning their signatures or trump cards.
Watching this video makes me miss Gallop ygo. I still think the sound design of 5D's and Arc-V is the best the series has ever had. Every big summon had some type of different music and or sound.
Aki/Akiza's summoning for Black Rose Dragon is hands down my favorite. Not only is a good showing of her beauty and ferocity in dueling, that dragon always brings about lots of damage whenever it arrives ready to destroy Aki's foes!
God the soundtrack for that very first summoning scene that appears over and over and over again in the series when Yusei summons a Duel-changing monster is my favorite from the entire show. Absolutely goosebumps inducing help 😭 I think the great soundtrack plays a big part in why these scenes are so gorgeous.
With all the 5D's representation here, this makes me want an uncut English dub release of this show even more, especially if they can get the original voice actors!

One of my favorite Yugioh moments of all times is the moment Lifestream Dragon roars and then explodes into synchro rings during the synchro summoning of Shooting Quasar Dragon. HOW DARE YOU just cut that moment out?!?!?!
Good god I love the track that plays as Yusei builds up Shooting Quasar Dragon. The slow tear from the hopelessness of the situation to the fueling feeling of Yusei pulling the hopes of all of his friends' last ditch efforts together to culminate in this absolute BEAST of a boss monster just...goosebumps. The only other one that matches for me is Shooting Star
I play Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links a lot, and the summoning chants have to be one of my favorite parts of the game. It's just so cool when you summon a characters ace monsters and they say the lines. Or when you summon a different character's ace monsters and the character you're playing has has lines for that monster. To give an example, when your playing as Yusei and you summon Red Dragon Archfiend.
The summoning chants of Junk Warrior and Formula Synchron are pretty good too ! Especially Formula Synchron with the "Kibou no chikara" before saying his name !

I’m surprised the quasar summoning was on the low side but I understand tho I really love the summoning chants I think there great. My favorite would be shooting star dragon chant and maybe the halberd monster that Bruno summoned

I always preferred the first chant used to summon the Earthbound Immortals; 5000 years since the door to the afterlife was opened. Also, I just love that someone called Dick Pit is in this list xD
Off topic: realize we never see Ai's original deck? His @ignisters are essentially a memorial of his Ignis buddies who each had their own mono-attribute cyberse archetypes. Plus Playmaker had his own cyberse conglomeration that wasn't mono attribute that came before they really became a team like Soulburner or Blue maiden had. I just wonder what that archetype would look like and what it would be based on. Other topic: Since Ancient Fairy Dragon just got an errata to take it off the OCG banlist, I'm calling it now. We're going to get the last Signer Dragon upgraded form soon and Luna will finally get an appropriate archetype.
Ironically Shooting Star and Scar-Red Nova were two of the best ones. The Earthbounds hold a special place though for just being so....creepy. The way the lizard's eyes move and the screech from the Hummingbird....

I loved Rua finally becoming a signer and evolving Power Tool Dragon to his true form, Life Stream Dragon. It shows his growth from the weakest of the cast to being able to unlock the strength, courage and skill inside himself to protect everyone. I also love Luna's summon of Ancient Fairy Dragon (Had to double check what it was in the sub and it's a beautiful chant)

You were close it’s Coco Raya, depending upon your speaking out not just pronunciation granted I might be speaking wrong because I have Portugal blood in me and I speak very very little Spanish. It’s pretty rusty compared to what he used to.
For Dark Synchros I actually prefer English dub “When the shadows are enveloped by even darker shadows. The curtain pulls back to reveal a world without light.” I also prefer Earthbound Immortal over god. After the Egyptian Gods and even later in 5Ds that Norse Gods. Having them be Earthbound Immortals makes them feel more unique.
Always love 5ds and there chants are you going to do Go Rush's Chants for Equip Cards once the show is over. Wish Leo had a chant for Power Tool Dragon
I love how the games, specifically Duel Links have loosely translated some of the JP Chants in English. Like Stardust Dragon for example: 'Clustering wishes will become a new shining star' 'The hopes of the world coalesce into a single star'
I would have add placido luciano boss monster. They often do crazy stuff (like fusioning with they motorcycle) and I love when they named all part off their boss monster. (Weisel top ! weisel guard ! weisel attack)
An interesting idea for one of these videos would be best non-designated Special Summons. As in, say, Cyber Dragon being special summoned, but not the Fusion Summon of Cyber End Dragon.

Odd-Eyes Rebellion and Raging Dragon have some of the most menacing chants in Yugioh IMO.

I also prefer Earthbound Immortal over god. After the Egyptian Gods and even later in 5Ds that Norse Gods. Having them be Earthbound Immortals makes them feel more unique.
Always love 5ds and there chants are you going to do Go Rush's Chants for Equip Cards once the show is over. Wish Leo had a chant for Power Tool Dragon
Pretty sure Rua has one for Power Tool which goes something like Yuuki to Chikara de Revolution but it is very similar to Life Stream's chant

I love how the games, specifically Duel Links have loosely translated some of the JP Chants in English. Like Stardust Dragon for example:
'Clustering wishes will become a new shining star'
'The hopes of the world coalesce into a single star'

I would have add placido luciano boss monster. They often do crazy stuff (like fusioning with they motorcycle) and I love when they named all part off their boss monster. (Weisel top ! weisel guard ! weisel attack)
The tuning part of a synchro summon isn’t the chant, only the “cloked in shadows and relentless in its objective” is the chant

An interesting idea for one of these videos would be best non-designated Special Summons. As in, say, Cyber Dragon being special summoned, but not the Fusion Summon of Cyber End Dragon.
