If anything, that was going to make the other guy play worse
Hell yeah. I love when a toxic jerk on my team gets put on the enemy team and I get to style on them. There are few things in this game that feel that good.
I literally remember someone saying in a random yt video "usually the people who are toxic are the worst players on the team" I've stuck with that for a while now, and it's mostly true. People play poorly, and they get really frustrated at their team for not carrying them.
I know this is months later, but this is what I don’t like about the OW community. Everyone is so toxic to each other and blame others for their losses. This is where people like you emongg that support people at the receiving end of toxicity. The reason I’ve stopped playing OW rn is this exact reason. Thank you for being a kind guy in the sea of toxicity.
One of my very first experiences playing OW was these two guys berating me the entire game for being a crappy mei, I was young so it left a small scar that still affects me, but this video really warmed my heart and showed me there are still nice guys out there. Good on you emongg
This clip is awesome on more than one level. It's a great demonstration of mindset and morale and the effect they have on performance, but I like it even more as a demonstration of simple human decency.
The first time I heard that guy in game I was like "Oh hey he has a nice voice" - then I heard the crap coming out of his mouth, noticed his screen name (no one makes a stupid name like that with the intention of being a good person) and ever since have noticed him be a complete waste of teammate in every game I've seen him in. I chose to believe he's really a nice person but being in quarantine has given him so much anxiety that behaving like this is all he can manage to cope. I hope things get better for him soon.
He's probably a baby back bitch in real life that lets people walk all over him and verbally, maybe even physically, abuse him then hops on games with other people and takes out his frustrations on others, knowing the probability of him getting the shit beat out of him is very low.
Hey, I understand that people cope with anxiety in slightly different ways, but as a person diagnosed with anxiety who's been in quarantine for 3 months in a stressful environment, I really don't think it can make you become this much of an asshole! This dude sounds like he has some self esteem problems, he sounds shallow and angry, kinda like an edgy teen.... I wouldn't explain it with anxiety.
That's funny. I remember in one of your stream that said almost everybody get along in top 500 OW. He must be the odd one out. Ps: Your youtube channel is pretty nice. You're really working on it.

Yeah, people like that uradopted guy don't learn or start effectively planning with their team when they start struggling. instead he got mad, stopped thinking completely, and just flamed HIS OWN TEAM like jesus, I have no idea what he expected to accomplish with that. If anything, that was going to make the other guy play worse
Gotta love emongg, such a positive force!
I love how the toxic guy gets railed after being toxic. I also love your comp set ups and strats. They seemed to do you well. 🖤
9:38 clash of the melodies 😂👌🏾
mad respect for you bro. you’re a good human being and it’s so easy to tell.
This is why I like watching you
I know this is months later, but this is what I don’t like about the OW community. Everyone is so toxic to each other and blame others for their losses. This is where people like you emongg that support people at the receiving end of toxicity. The reason I’ve stopped playing OW rn is this exact reason. Thank you for being a kind guy in the sea of toxicity.
It’s horrible what that prick did. You never make fun of someone’s voice. If you got nothing nice to say don’t flipping say it at all!
Wait... if I got nothing to say don’t say it at all?
Gotcha
plus his voice was actually really cute and kinda shy...
MercyMainBTW i agree
PhantomSniper108 Man i worded wrong stop bullying me
Thank you Emongg. You're a great figure in this community.
Such positivity is inspiring! Here's to more people like you, gg from Brazil!
One of my very first experiences playing OW was these two guys berating me the entire game for being a crappy mei, I was young so it left a small scar that still affects me, but this video really warmed my heart and showed me there are still nice guys out there. Good on you emongg
Lol Diao stands for 屌 in mandarin. It’s an aggressive way to say “good”. But that’s actually cool for us Asian to see. Really
just watching some vids in the background and "you stood up for me, thank you" brings a tear to my eye. Way to be, man
This clip is awesome on more than one level.
I like your optimism but, he's just a prick
Yeah...quarantine doesn’t excuse/explain that behavior. I’ve played a lot of overwatch during quarantine and I’m not a dickhead to my teammates.
Wait im in the second game PogU
Who were you?
He's/she's Bern
I'm sorry
Keep the light going bud. You're a shining beacon of positivity and its greatly appreciated.
Thank you for being a good person emongg. The community is a better place because of you and people like you
That's funny. I remember in one of your stream that said almost everybody get along in top 500 OW. He must be the odd one out.
Ps: Your youtube channel is pretty nice. You're really working on it.
He was GM, not even TOP500
2:34 I legit started laughing
Ive always enjoyed watching you and this truly warms my heart because your a very sweet person and you inspire me to try and do twitch/youtube again. (: you deserve much more support than you get and if you ever feel down emongg know all your fans love and support you
Dude..... This video, made me come back to overwatch.... And I will try playing with the same mentality as yours now. Love you man
༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ TAKE MY ENERGY ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
I know this is an old video I watch emongg these days I’ve never heard him swear like this
Him saying thank you was wholesome af. It made my day. If only everyone wasn’t toxic. ;-;
Emongg this is why I love you. Keep it up man. Your a true sportsman
Man,
You don’t hear comms like this in Overwatch 2 GM games
thank you for censoring r******. Lots of gamers, streamers, youtubers use that word so much and think that it’s fine. Been binging your videos, but that sheer fact alone made me sub.
ive been binging emogg this week since starting ow and im so glad I found this gem. love the wholesome vibes he's trying to put out into this community. also wild that dude tried flaming someone for how they speak then we learn they speak at least two languages like bruh you look extra goofy now fr
As a Zarya main, it is eye candy watching you tryhard with Zarya.
So children, what have we learned today?
Dont be toxic
orisa low
If you tell teammates about an enemy named "uradopted" your ears will not last
Im not gay
I remember this from the stream lol
does he stream on twitch or youtube?
Troy Williams twitch
@@tombo_sq9526 thanks much appreciated
Love watching you and Jay. Y'all are good at the game, and the salt is at least funny with y'all. Way to stay on top!
Nothing more satisfying than getting a toxic teamate who's rude to you or a friend then you go against that guy next game and role them
Yup, it means why am I so good in a more swag way, it is more like "why am I so fxxking good" ! diao is fxxk, if you used it in a bad way xD
I’m Chinese and Jesus people butchering it sounds so weird lmao
Gameknight I thought it was cute he tried to connect with him with what little he knew of the language (pretty much nothing 😆) but yeah it makes you wince a bit haha
I didn’t know who emongg was until this video that got recommended to me not long after I came back to the game and started watching overwatch content. Massive respect to this man
"You stood up for me, thank you."🥺💕 Wholesome.
idk you kinda proved him right, made tank go rein and won. Feel like whenever you avoid someone and have an issue they try harder to be useful next game LULW
But at the same time, emongg asked nicely, and this player was a dick about it. That's the difference
This positivity made me subscribe, I absolutely love it
I love to hear emongg shot-calling. Dude is a galaxy brain positivity-laden mega Chad and deserves all the recognition he's getting, and much more
This is why I have so much respect for Emon, keep it up
Emongg you're the best. You're hilarious, you're amazing at the people you play, and you're one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I love that you use your platform to spread kindness and positivity and I wish nothing but the best for you. ❤️
That first argument made me laugh way too hard
Oh wow, what an inspiring thing you've done, Emongg. I will try to watch myself and try to be even less toxic than I am now. I see what it does to people, I don't want that happening.
Good shit man, it is so goddamn satisfying seeing toxic people getting what they deserve :) Hope he saw this vid and maybe considered his behavior
