Crazy to think that UGA is a few blown calls away from having 3 NTs. That 2017 game was within the bounce of a ball.

Clise wins against Missouri and ohio st. 2019 lsu 2020 bama they were historic dominating teams never had close game. And killing tcu no biggie they lost to kansas st. Get a grip good yr but not hardly historic domination. To many clise games to bad teams, check fullseasons records they had a few close calls to bad teams.

The SEC is on top. The Pac12 is garbage, with a couple decent teams. The Big Ten, though? I don't think they were far behind the SEC this year. The SEC was not nearly as deep this year as in years past. Mich and OSU could beat any team in the SEC this year on a great day. At least would be competitive. After the top two teams, both conferences have a whole lot of "meh".

Michigan lost to TCU,Ohio St lost to Georgia and Purdue,the Big 10 runner-up, lost 63-7 to LSU.
Mississippi St beat an Illinois team that nearly beat Michigan in Ann Arbor.Iowa beat Kentucky without Levis and Rodriguez(who opted out) but when those guys played Iowa last year Kentucky won.
So how is the Big 10 the better conference overall?

I knew Georgia was gonna win, but I didn’t think the game would be this awful and one-sided. That was one historic, emphatic and dominant championship performance though. What a season for the Dawgs and congrats to them

As a Georgia fan I still feel Michigan was better than Ohio St this year.But I also feared Ohio State as a potential opponent for Georgia far more than Michigan precisely because of the way OSU matches up with Georgia while what Michigan loves to do (run the ball and wear teams down in the second half) plays exactly into Georgia's hands.

OSU caught UGA napping, and Michigan basically gave TCU the game.
It doesn't matter everybody knows that Alabama will be ranked number one next year just like they are every year it don't matter how many times they lose.. then they'll play five or six cupcake games before they start playing SEC competition it's a good formula I'm not going to lie.. because I know no matter what if they win or win out they're going to go even if they have two losses

Considering Georgia dominated everyone they played except for Ohio State in the playoff semifinal, and that Ohio State got blown out by Michigan, that close game against OSU should now be considered a fluke.
And I would argue #5 Alabama should have been in the playoff instead of OSU. Here's why: Alabama's only two losses came against LSU who played Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. LSU destroyed Purdue in the Citrus Bowl, 63 to 7. Alabama's only other loss came against #6 Tennessee who beat #7 Clemson in the Orange Bowl.
This argument can be used with #3 TCU. #9 Kansas State beat TCU in the Big 12 Championship so TCU's ranking should have dropped below Alabama's. Then TCU upset #2 Michigan in the semifinal. Then Alabama destroyed Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl. So considering both quality wins and losses, Alabama should have been in the playoff instead of both OSU and TCU.
Georgia destroying TCU in the championship games further proves that the SEC is the dominant conference in the NCAA and should have had two teams in the playoff.
