@@webechubbin it literally is the same as a punt. If the ball comes to a rest an no one is in the area they'll call it down. It's a live ball. The fact that d1 athletes didn't know it was live is a great example of football iq not being there. I was screaming at my TV for them to pick it up and run and they finally did and I was like thank God lsu didn't have the wherewithal to know to go after it

Even as a Tennessee fan, just watching the artistry of the Georgia team is delightful. And I'm glad LSU played some really respectable ball. Impressive stuff against a juggernaut of a team.
All the good teams going to the sec has a negative affect on there ultimate outcome on one hand because it eliminates them from playoff contention, where as teams who aren’t as strong from other conferences get in based off of a better record from an easier schedule.
The sec champion should be the national champion every year.
Once the play offs go to the 12 team playoff kinda like the nfl then sec teams win ever year.

As overmatched as we were, it's awesome how we were within 1 score if we could eliminate those 2 fluke plays (the helmet interception and the missed field goal return).

Georgia is a monster. Just an entire team of monsters. The kind of team I used to make them on NCAA. Always wondered why if they got the right coach they couldn't dominate just like Bama if not more. Georgia is such a talent rich state for football.
Only team that has a shot is a spread passing team.. So maybe OSU?? But OSU's defense would get killed. And they'd need Jaxon Smith Njigba back as well.. UGA should be double digit favorites over everyone.
As long as Qb’s fall in line they are the new Bama.

Georgia is building on Saban's idea of team culture and buying in. Kirby's passion for his love of football in it's most honest form has created the noble program that rewards hard work, conditioning and team/family commitment. Is this such a surprise in our current national worship of the individual? Bennett is the calling card of Kirby's commitment to each athlete/student effort. It isn't about winning is it? Remember, how the press degraded Georgia's lack of aggression during games in which scores weren't evidence enough of our school's program? No one noticed the 2nd and 3rd room boys being systematically assimilated with wise starters in the 1st and 2nd quarters throughout the year? National sports press has about as much credibility as political press.

I'd imagine Georgia being matched up with Ohio State and with that game will be very similar to this one. Buckeyes lost two key players and they haven't been the same since.

what's amazing is that even with losing the talent that they did, georgia still runs the table and is a prohibitive favorite to win it next month.
Well, one thing they need to work on: the most passing yards in SEC championship history happened yesterday, and by the LOSING team. They need to get better there. And... Ladd McConkey needs to get physically better too!
@@copocopocopocopo they also had a few missed tackles in that game (one of which led to a 50 yard td) which is very uncharacteristic for them. i expect ohio state to get some yards but i definitely expect less lapses in coverage and missed tackles in that game

Amazing to see what Bennett does. I could not help but smile and truly be happy for him and his teammates. He has molded so well into their system. Almost everything looked well practiced and layed out. Kirby Smart has done an absolutely phenomenal job at Georgia. This was bound to happen. After all, he did learn from the best. Roll Tide!

Honestly happy for my team, I understand they got blown out, but we could get a good bowl game along with the Nus’ improvement. Special team coach need to be fired though, like come on. All year long the special teams stuff was horrible. Hopefully Daniels is healthy for the bowl game if he decides to play. GG Georgia y’all are definitely the best team in the nation. Also, as a Saints fan, I would be pretty happy with Stetson as our QB for the future. Honestly most of the QB’s in the draft would be welcomed especially if Sean Payton decides to return.
I have a respect for LSU and the talent is there. I feel we’ll be hearing Daniels’ name for some years. It was a good game. tbh if there were more time or if the Backup QB came in sooner, the score would have probably been neck and neck. I respect the comeback he lead them on.

Ga fan here giving LSU credit where credit is due. That back up QB looked eerily similar to Burrows back in 2019 shredding the Dawgs apart BUT......GA is just a MACHINE.......In Kirby We Trust.
the backup qb is talented, the only reason he is a backup is due to the fact he has shown to occasionally wreck less be with the football. the starting QB actually is prone to running and his passing game leaves a lot to be desired. Since he came into this game recovering from an ankle Sprain he wasnt able to play to the full ability
Even giving up that first touchdown on the blocked field goal, and a couple more mistakes. LSU played a really good game. Could have been a tad closer but Georgia definitely was the better team and the best team in the nation last year,

As a life long Dawgs fan I must respect that LSU put up 500 yds passing.
........Take a look at 09:18, when Bennett realizes he won't be able to beat a Tiger to the
fumble.....he then instinctively blocks the LSU Player to prevent him from getting to it.
The fumble was subsequently recovered by another Tiger but the man who would have
reached the ball first could NOT get there due to Bennett's quick thinking! I've only seen
that happen one other time when it involved a Qb. That was Joe Burrow against Bama
in 2019!
Nusseimeir had some flashes of Joe and he has a good arm. He also looks ready to play. When Daniels leaves I think we have a good quarterback that’s coming in behind him. Although he can’t run as fast as Daniels

The only two things they need to do is stop playing conservative and Go for it on fourth down!!! Those are the two things I take away from the Georgia-LSU SEC Championship game!!! The passing game was amazing!!! The Running game was impressive in the second half of the game!!! Other than those two miss infractions the Georgia Bulldogs did a good job against the LSU Tigers in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta!!! The Georgia Bulldogs are the 2022 SEC Champions!!!
