Soooo, we hit a little bump in the road getting this video out on time (oops! 🙈), which means we're not on our usual schedule. That means a few of you might miss it-and we can't have that! Here's where you come in: Smash that like button and drop us a comment (tell us anything-how’s your day going? 😎). This helps the algorithm work its magic and shows the video to more awesome folks like you! 💥Thanks for hanging in there and being the best community ever! Your support means the world to us! 💥
Thank you for sharing with us! Don't worry about the "Shop noise"... It actually makes your videos more realistic. Most people know that Boats are not fixed inside libraries 😂😂
No Worries!! we say here in New Zealand,.lol if it not happening today there is always tomorrow!!! Do not let algorithm rule your life, love your rebuild, and enjoy it !!
I heard a person, not so very long ago, say “Progress, not perfection.” (Yeah, it was you. 🥰) That is our new motto. We’ve said that at least five times every day we work on our boat. Hanging in there right along with you. 😎🥰🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Like smashed. My day was fine, sunday, not doing much. Futzing around with a new boat. I'll be in PSL this Tuesday to hand over Wayzgoose to the new dude for reals, so I'll come tell you all about it if you don't mind an interruption :P
Rainy day here. So working inside improving electronics. Drilled two more holes 😁(i hate drilling holes in my boat) to fix radio antenna splitter. Work is going slowly but going. Step by step...
Hey, Stewart and Marina, welcome back...missed ya...thought you'd given up, clickbait thing on previous vid' totally had me thrown. I am super, super relieved you're still in their and kicking. Best of wishes and luck!
Can’t believe that you don’t have 500,000 subs! There are boat projects and there are BOAT PROJECTS. Guess which you took on? You should be proud of your selves for persevering and saving a beautiful boat. Looking back your progress is picking up speed as you gain skills and finish the myriad tasks. Rock on!!
You are doing an amazing job I keep checking back on how the boat used to look, it must be such a drag for you both but for us it only takes about 20 mins each week 😊
Hey! You got it. uploaded! Now, about your title; it isn't just boats, it's every significant project. That's why you deserve major respect! (It's like world-class atheletes say, "It's not physical, it's mental!") Any doubtere or critics just need to go back and watch the first handful of videos to see how far you've come. We can already see how she'll look on splash day. There's a REASON you for it for 1 euro!!! (That was a legal figment.) But it's the middle of October. You need to fight burnout by planning a ski holiday in the Alps in a couple months! Hang in there and give 'er hell!
No worries about posting schedules. Perseverance ! Winston Churchill once said ,” when you are going through hell, keep going !” That way you get through it.
To be honest, when you bought this boat, I thought you had taken on far too much. I had my doubts that it would ever get completed. Now I'm absolutely amazed at the quality of work you've put into it, and how much you've accomplished. Thank you for all the inspiration you've provided 😀
Marinna, the stanchions will certainly love the new beds you laid and the toe rails look marvelous. She's really coming along so nicely. Hope Stewart enjoyed his sail!
I noticed how nice the paintwork is. Seabird is looking better every week. your optimism and ethics shine thru all the work ahead. Keep smiling. You guys are awesome.
I take my hat off to you guys, what is shown on video is a tiny percentage of what’s actually going on in the real world and your making a great job of it, and to say your both not shipwright’s you should feel very proud of yourselves, I really look forward to your videos over a lot of the other yacht restoration projects because you are doing it all yourselves and not with loads of sponsorships providing you with endless amounts of resins etc, keep up the great work guys 🙏🙏
Dearest Marina & Drew. I followed you from the very first day. I am hooked on your videos & the progress on Sea Bird. Well done so far. Think you are more than half way to the finish and I can not wait to see the end result. John 🇿🇦 Afrique du sud
You both have done the most amazing job with seabird not only the renovation work that you have undertaken this summer been inside but also finding the time to make the videos edit the videos and get the videos out. The quality of the work is absolutely extraordinary that work shines like Glass, I honestly believe that you both have no idea just how good you have gotten only doing the work but actually filming it editing it and putting it together bravo now remember keep buggering on😊
The boat is looking so good. You must be proud of the results from all your hard work. You are both incredible! 🤗 We are excited to see future videos of more progress. You are awesome. 😊 The work you have done is amazing. 👍 Cheers. 💖⛵🐬🐕 S/V Cork~Texas 🇺🇸
Thanks so much! 😊very happy we got a bit of the outside done. Now back to working on the inside. Perfect timing as the seasons are changing Cheers for watching 🙂
Looks fantastic, guys. Lots of hard work is done. I think you are an inspiration to all that watch by making an idea a reality by sheer willpower. It may be tough, but keep it up. You have a lot of people rooting for you. Really enjoy watching the boat take shape.
It's good you have taken some time to look after yourselves. Its been a long journey for you both. We love watching the updates. The boat continues to look better each time. Keep going, it will all be worth it in the end ❤
Great to see Stewart back you both do really nice work I love watching how you have overcome adversities you should be very proud of yourself boat looks sooo good
I live on my project, and sailing 4-6 days a week. I needed to repower, so bought an outboard for the meantime. Completely happy to be on the water daily. I'm about to pull out the old diesel and rebuild it myself, after getting the block inspected. It's about 25% the cost of a new engine. Good luck getting into the water asap.
You're doing a great job guys, well done. I look forward to catching up with how you're getting on every week, being a day or two off that schedule is no big problem, it just proves you've got a bit of "real life" going on.
We live in a town, and despite pouring rain and it now getting quite cold, we have a new and very enthusiastic chap who continues to come around almost every day selling ice creams from a large electrically assisted pedal trike. Many days, it is unclear whether he actually attracts any customers, or just enjoys the fact that that he can belt our a variety of tunes on his ice cream van like chimes at high volume. This is ok as long as he plays a variety of tunes, but when he plays the same one over and over, and you can hear him from half a mile away, well, it's a bit like the endless noise you've been having to put up with in the hanger, but more penetrating! We are eagerly awaiting the end of this years ice cream season!
One little bump in the road , is nothing compared with riding around here with all the potholes 😃🏍 but looks like more good progress . It’s important to take a break occasionally , and you have to take oportunities when they present themselves 😃🍻
Welcome Back, Can’t wait to see Seabird in the light of day…. ( but you cheated with the thumb nail photo 😎) The hull looks fantastic, lots accomplished this edition…. I hope the weather gods provide you with great working conditions under the sun in the coming weeks… Still lots to do, but soooo much more already finished…. All the Best, Tommy in Nola….. 👍🏻🍻🥰😎
Hey guys, thank you for sharing the build and hard work. well, me, the wife and a couple or work colleagues, just spent a few days doing about 600 sqm of flooring in one of the shops the company we work for manages. For us older folk, it's been hard work. Especially when we are normally doing desk jobs, lol. We are in the outback of Australia. Has been in the high 30 degrees, lucky for us shop is air conned.
Nice job on those stancheon bases Marina, they look nice and strong as they should be and no doubt you will be adding backing plates underneath them as well. Stu, that bow fitting also needs to be super strong if you want to connect roller furling gear to it later. The load on that fitting is very high when you tension the furler to roll the sail correctly.
Steady as you go catch your breath and have a sleep... then back to the decks.. This has been the wetist year in blighty and it isnt getting any better.

Working on your own boat , has to be better than any other job.The burnout is only temporary,so chin up and carry on! Love the channel, and thank you.
My day: Patiently waiting for your video to show up, and now being happy that it arrived.
Sorry for the wait… ☹️ Hope it was worth it!
Good to see you back! Keep plugging away.

My day: sitting on my brothers boat, not sailing because of the hard wind, but chatting and drinking many cups of tea 😊
Sounds like a good day to us 🤗☕️
Your "pizza cutter" is exactly what my wife uses to cut fabric for making quilts.
Thank you for another great video. always looking forward to them.
you guys have made some amazing progress on this sailboat. I never thought it would turn out this good so far. Good luck and best wishes.
