@@mbasulto as far as am aware that is not the case, all cars with start and stop have AGM batteries which is the main battery but with technology to deal with start stop. If am wrong do let me know for sure. 😌
It's actually very smart place to put the battery and BMW has been using it for generations (E39, E87 I know for sure). It contributes to more even weight distribution between the axles. And for something that is changed once in 5-7 years, it's reasonable amount of work needed.
You must NEVER touch positive terminal with any kind of tool before negative is completely disconnected. By untightening positive terminal before you disconnect negative, you risk shorting the battery to the car chassis using the tool.
Hi ! And where is the auxiliary battery located? Thanks !
What auxiliary battery ?
@@DaringBeefcake my understanding is this model have a Auxiliary battery ( more small) to make work , for example , the star and stop

@@DaringBeefcake yes , I think you are correct, because I was not able to find another battery….
Came here to see the clamp. Thx
You welcome 🙏
I tried removing my battery on my 2012 bmw 335i once I remove it the alarm goes on why ?
that's rather strange unless the alarm siren is faulty, i had the same issue with another car and the siren internal battery was faulty..
Спасибо!
You welcome 🙏
What a ridiculous place to put the battery!
I agree.
Not too bad compared to other cars, for eg under driver chair!
@@AdelinaAcsinte-ir1yu true, to be fair, in the end all cars have something that doesn’t make any sense.
