There's one thing you should definitely do when reviewing a product like this. Plug it in and use it on the various charge settings for an hour or two. Check the temperature of the cables/plugs/ESVE unit/handle and the appropriate wiring in your house. If any part of it gets hot, inform your viewers.
I did that, and would let everyone know If I noticed anything strange! I will definitely be sure to mention that in future videos. Thanks for your feedback. Nothing got hot! In fact my GM provided EVSE gets very warm. They will heat up, but I thought the GM one seemed warmer than I can remember any other OEM charger being.
Thanks for the video. So will the Equinox auto start charging with the delay timer? Only asking because I thought when you used the Tesla supercharger you had to press start charging to initiate charging. I probably have it all wrong 😊
There is no "correct" orientation on NEMA1450. Somethings require ground up other ground down. Ive seen it both ways on many devices not just ev chargers. If the 1450 is installed correctly with a little bit of slack on the wire, unscrewing the outlet and rotating it should not be too difficult.
