Fishing the grass lines.
Question: can you find grass edges using google earth? Then using down and side imaging to define the edges.
Side imaging will show you exact distance from transducer to grass clumps then the main body of grass set your side imaging to a span of 120 ft either side of the boat and all of a sudden your graph will become your best friend.
Another excellent presentation.
My favorite tip is that bass are looking for an OppBrief ambush their next meal.
I will view the video again today and do my best to apply your training to a sun blasted Az lake in 90 degree weather. 😢
Another video proving your title "The Fishing Professor" 🔥🔥
Great use of graphics and imagery. That college education shows.
It wasnt a tip as much as an observation. From the drone view of the deep grass line i realized that is probably the lowest lake water level as well. Which would also mean a small sharp depth change probably occurs at that point as well from wave and wake disturbance. 🤔 hmmm
Great information! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Jonny - Another great video reminder of some fundamental concepts that we should have top of mind whenever we fish. Keep up the good work! My favorite tip was you suggestion to "think like a bass" for insight on where the strike zone will be in any given situation.
Glad you enjoyed it
This is by far the most helpful video I have ever seen on bass fishing. Sir, you are amazing. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
My favorite tip was all of the above
I fish mud lines often being at a clear lake. Should bite be best at what location? I presume just into the clear, but I am almost at a point that I will just pass it up. This video surely gives a fisherman more detail than just seeing fish/bait and casting at them. Thank you.
Wow! Best explanation of Strike Zone ever!
So Informative for something so familiar.
Your speaking, graphics, photos and videos explaining the subject was Outstanding.
I especially appreciated the LiveScope video at 4:00 mark showing the bass hit as you brought your bait between the baitfish on the bottom and the school of bass.
Thank you.
Be well.
As always, so much knowledge given hear. Great stuff Johnny.
Favorite tip is the summary you said at the end, "remember the bass just want to ambush their food".
Solid vid!
Good video Johnny, thank you
Livescope is such a great education tool
When are you using the blue screen on livescope?
I usually use the blue screen when I'm fishing in open water with no cover and the fish are chasing bait balls
@@FishtheMoment is the guide you created for the Garmin GPSMAP 1022XSV with LVS32 close enough to make similar adjustments if I have the LVS32 with a 106sv Ultra? And does it include the blue screen? Appreciate all your help nonetheless 👊
It should be pretty close and does include the blue screen.
@@FishtheMoment Jonny, I downloaded the guide, thank you 🙏 Do you have some info about your 2D settings so the smaller fish don’t show up?
I'm still working on a Garmin sonar guide with those settings.
