@@OnIcePerspectives I can attest to it! I played roller derby for nearly a decade and have killed my momentum with so many double knee slides. The first time I saw him do this I yelled out loud.

Oh, can't wait to see the full program. Jordan, I've watched the rehearsal Jason had months earlier for a competition in Japan. You made a slow-motioned film of this rehearsal, and I enjoy it. Although it is not complete, I just watch it over and over again. I'm an English teacher in Taiwan. I even made a lesson plan to teach the song "The Impossible Dream", the musical behind the song, and introduce your film and wonderful Jason. Later, I did watch him skate in the competition in Japan online, but he fell near the end unfortunately. I pray for him and hope he will take the world by storm with this powerful program in 2023. I rarely watch other male skaters' performances. The thumbnails on YT don't look attractive to me. Those I really got to watch always disappointed me after I clicked on them, so I just stopped within maybe 30 secs. The skaters even can't stand straight on ice, don't know what to do with their hands and legs between jumps, and don't understand their music well enough to perform. Yesterday, however, I watched the three medalists' skating at the Worlds. I found that they all showed great techniques, some of which were undoubtedly astonishing, but still, I was not moved. To me, it seems that not many skaters really skate to their music. It's not about the choreography, the posture, the movements, the quad jumps, and other flashy skills. It's about the skaters -- whether the skaters speak to their audience through performing. It's a gift that few skaters have. They skate, but it takes a lot more to perform. I just feel so blessed to be able to savor Jason's beauty on ice. With or without medals, Jason is impeccable.
This means that this year he takes a break and by 2023/2024 he returns to the competition, right?
He'll be at US Nationals January 2023 and will go to Worlds if selected. He only took half the current season off.

Please don't use 24 fps. It makes it look really unsmooth, which is too bad with these otherwise beautiful videos full of motion. 30 ot 60 fps are the ones to use.
