I agree too. I mean Mike is going solo right now, but the rest of the LP band are just going nowhere simply b/c Mike wants to do his own thing. When Chester Bennington passed away Mike wasn't the only band member to get heartbroken & feeling betrayed. Mike is awesome, nobody can ever replace Chester, but seriously come on, move on & bring the LP band back together w/ a replacement or w/out. Regardless LP can get through this as a team/family band members. Mike is not the only one who has been heartbroken over this tragedy!

The scariest part of depression is when someone who suffers from it is suddenly fine. Alot of times it can mean planning for when they're gone. T hats why people say to watch when somone with depression suddenly starts giving their things away.

One of the difficult things is that not everyone who exhibits the warning signs are suicidal. Certainly awareness of the signs is important but there can be different degree to which the emotional distress may be displayed. Sad for the family and friends to wrestle with the circumstances.

They say after someone decides on such an idea. They know the pain is ending and they seem to be really happy , I've heard this in other cases of suicide . It's awful to think that your only way to be at peace .😢
She is such an amazing women and so strong! She is so brave for speaking about Chester. I love her so much, miss you Chester! Linkin Park are one of my favourite bands of all time but I don't know if they will continue but I support whatever they choose to do👌💚

Chesters wife is truly so strong I know that he's so proud of her for helping others out ..I know I had my own personal demons to deal with when I almost took my own life when I was 20 yrs I was depressed I felt no one could help me so I took half bottle of aspirin I'm glad I told my brother or else I would have been dead so taking you're life away is not the way to go if you must please get help with someone you love ....whenever I listened to Linkin Park it truly helped me to cope what had happened I will truly miss Chester Bennington ...whatever Linkin Park decides I'm all for it 100%
In my humble opinion, a mini tribute tour followed by peaceful breakup is what I see best for the band. Attempting to replace chester would be a damn big mistake I believe.

he was in a lot of pain his music expresses it, I hope people suffering this illness take strength and reach for help if they can unlike Chester and many others who can't take the pain and leave the ones they love behind, the ones they've fought so long for. rest his soul and the others who suffered.

I believe "Linkin Park" ended when Chester's life did... I don't see how they could ever "replace" him or them being successful if they tried.. Leave it untouched. No one will be able to replace him. However the tribute show how the fans took over chesters part was incredible, I’m 100% ok with them doing a tour as they are. The fans are incredible and will gladly be the missing voice!
At the pictures I see his wife smiling at the cámara and not completely responding to the love that he was giving to her. I guess if he felt loved or not by her. I liked his voice so much, and the band won^t be the same. Many People like me, only want Chester as a leading voice. Mike díd well some songs, but I feel weird listening to them without Chester.

I think Chris was the only one who not only cared but who he truly connected to Talinda had an affair and he was going to divorce her then Chris died and he felt all alone. No one reciprocated the love he gave. If you look at the picture, he’s standing with his kids. His love, happiness and time was with them. She was off to the side.
when he died he relapsed. That’s what killed him. His wife said that he wasn’t blacked out drunk. When was drinking, it triggered “shame” like his wife said. And i agree. It triggered mood swings. Who know what chester was thinking when he brought those drinks in his room and started drinking. The shame and all those bad thoughts and past attempts made him end his life.
The sings where at his final few concerts. But I’m happy that she’s spreading the message and raising awareness for mental health. She’s a true hero

I really think that they should not replace him.. his voice is too distinct. The band can all go and do tings on their own. So sad still to think that it has been almost a year.

Hungry Lights is the only person I know of who could actually pull it off really well in my opinion. But Chester's voice WAS really distinct and def the only one in the known part of the music industry, for sure.

Ive been using chester's songs as my vocal training along with other mechanisms to sing my best. Noone will replace chester in our hearts minds and souls. When i formed a linkin park tribute band in 2013 it was the most amazing experience i have ever experienced. I felt more connected with the ideas the band was putting out. Ive been a lead singer for all my band till this day. But my all time favorite is singing to chesters capacitance. No im not chester (god bless his soul) but i saw his vocal talent as a challenge to master that capacitence. The soft and the grunge. Even more of my inspiration than ever before. I hope i can get my band to realize i strive for greatness in this time of tribulation from pop and electronic music taking over an finding the keys neccesary to compete in todays market. I see what LP and shinoda are doing and all my heart is out to them. I will strive foward. I will upload me covering LP. They are who made me who i am today! Thank you linkin park! God bless chester
I've counseled a lot of people with depression. And I've known a lot of people to commit suicide. They are always at their best, right before they do it. Nann times out of 10 it's because they are happy that they are fixing to have a way out. A sudden change from crippling depression too extreme happiness, is a big warning sign. That's when you really have to worry that somebody suffering with depression is about to take their life.

I just finished listening to Hybrid Theory, and frankly, I don't think ANYBODY can replace that guy. A unique talent no doubt. Honestly I think they should do a Led Zeppelin and call it a day.

That is a sign!!! Someone who suffers from depression most of their life is all of a sudden happy you need to worry. Their happiness could stem from the fact that they can finally be at peace.
Chester Bennington and XXXTENTACION’s deaths are two of the most impactful losses of my generation. This is the first time in my life where artists that have massively impacted myself have suffered through depression and created art out of that suffering. Despite, the cause of their passings being different, the legacies that they have left behind is something that I will value forever.

What Mike said is so true. Each of the members is on a different page as far as recovery from the trauma is concerned. I think It'll take some serious amount of time till we see or hear anything new from LP.
Anyone who has a history of depression is always in danger. There are days you function and days you are a wreck. I believe chester was a strong stubborn loving hot head who would rather make you happy than saying how he really feels. It's also hard to understand your own true feelings when you live a fast life. Chester has always been loved and will be loved. Let us remember his happy moments too.

can't believe it's almost a year, it feels like we lost him just months ago.
I really hate thinking about someone else being in the band but at the same time I can’t imagine a world without Linkin Park. They’re music has always helped me when I was depressed and thinking that there one day may not be any new music from them hurts.
Honestly, losing Chester has been the worst for me so I can’t imagine how his family and the band are feeling especially thinking about having to choose someone to essentially take his place so to speak.
Linkin park literally helped me thru hard times and to know he felt that way is saddening i will forever be thankful for linkin park and chester who was the voice of my pain!
I don't know who would be able to fill those shoes. They are so big! Chester was incredible and unforgettable. I don't want it to be the end of Linkin Park though. I love every guy in the band and want to see them continue. It might be different, but they can still make amazing music. I don't know who could carry the torch for Chester. Maybe they could do what Journey did. They found a fan on UA-cam and recruited Arnel to replace Steve Perry. Those were big shoes to fill as well. I don't want the music to fade. It will never die. I just hope they figure something out and I hope they know that their true fans support whatever they feel is best.

It is not only about the voice, the looks, the charisma. Imao to sing so convincingly - more, so hauntingly - about the pain of existence needs to actually feel and experience this pain. And this was Chester's truth, his power and weakness. Now, should LP seek another talented vocalist who is suffering this kind of pain? I doubt it. It would be s-m.

Based on experience, don't ignore people with emotional & psychological stress or depression. It's a very tough situation to be in. Help out in any possible way you can.
It’s so sad - my dad took his life in 1980. It’s common for a person to seem to be ‘happy’ just before they take their own lives.
Some things are better left untouched. I know that they will make the right decision when it comes to that point.
I've been an LP fan since 2001. I would be at peace if they decided to end the group and do there own thing.

I honestly think Linkin Park should be untouched out of respect for Chester Bennington but not just that why open old wounds trying and match an iconic legend that will never be matched no matter how good the singer is. I say let us remember the band the way It was with such power, love and presence behind it. Linkin Park was one of the first bands along with Limp Bizkit & Korn . I could always relate to crawling and runnaway as a teen music metal and hard rock was the only thing that calmed me down in my bipolar manic state I had Teachers doctors and everyone baffled that that kind of genre did that to someone so manic on the high end of bipolar lol
I agree if they go on I think if a new band was created maybe with a different name it could work , but LP and Chester can never be separated in our mind snd our hearts , at least for me .

Him seeming happy and at peace was a sign in itself. When someone who is depressed suddenly seems full of life, happy and at peace, it could mean they finally made the decision to take their own life, and therefore do not have to worry about the future anymore. It's not a very well known thing though, so it's not surprising she didn't know that.
41 months since he has left us physically. I know chester is with all us LP family. I am an older LP soldier. Been a fan since I was 13 in 2000. I dont want to ever see another singer front this band. It may seem selfish but no voice will ever rival chesters and no other voice should ever replace Chester's in LP.
