Hey, got my switch back about a week now after being repaired. I’m Confident and Happy to say its fixed 🛠😁 🎉 The left side disconnect was unbearable to play most games in handheld. Some joys-cons were some SO unresponsive with the old rail, that I could hardly even charge them Now ALL my joys-cons work: No more intermittent disconnects! I would definitely recommend you for Device repairs Thank you so much 🙏 (Yes that’s my Switch in the video)
So u sent it into nintendo? My switch just started doing the dame thing was wondering if I should fix it myself or send it in how long did it take for you to get your switch back
thank you very much - was able to fix by following this video. Great instructions and great camera work! Two notes: 1) there seems to be a tiny piece of adhesive tape that holds the ribbon cable down - it takes a bit of force to get it out. 2) It looks like you forgot to reconnect your radios at the end.
This guide was wonderful! Got the job done. If anyone reads this before ordering parts, make sure you get the appropriate tracks for your model. The og switch tracks and the oled tracks fit slightly differently. I made the mistake. I got one screw from the og track to fit but the holes on the console and track otherwise dont line up. I keep my switch in a gripcase so itll be fine. But might otherwise make the track connection fragile for others.
Thanks for your video, it was very helpful. I could fix my switch following your video😸 (you forgot to connect the metal plate with the motherboard haha) thankss
I need help. I was in the last step of removing 2 screws of the Rail but the screws got stock and I can't remove it. Now the heads of screws do not have grips anymore.
I put my new joycon rails on last night, everything is working but I forgot to poweroff my switch , could I have done any damage in the process, all is working but I am still worried
Hi I just watched your video "Nintendo Switch Charging IC Replacement" and it was really informative to me, my old 3DS XL has a problem where the charging light is coming on when It's plugged in but the battery isn't charging, any help would be appreciated thanks!
@GoCellPhoneRepair The 3ds plays perfectly fine If I put a charged up battery in it, it just won't charge it up so I have to take it out and charge it in my other 3ds or a battery charger.

Good to hear! Long term testing is the best confirmation of a successful repair for something like this. Thanks for leaving a comment here.

You're right about the tape and the radios! I'll add some notes to the video description. Thanks for letting me know.

Good catch. Yes, one of the antenna wires was not plugged in while I was recording the video.

If everything is working then I would not worry about it.
Nice detailed video, great explanation. Love it! Thanks
Thank you.

Are you able to test for voltage at the battery terminal? That would be a good place to start. If not, have you already tried another battery already?
