This is classic Joker. I’ve always loved the fact that the other inmates in Arkham hate Joker. It’s also great how people know how big of an ego Joker has and use it to their advantage. Mark Hamill really is brilliant 😂
So, Mark Hamill has officially retired from playing the Joker. He says it's not the same without Kevin anymore. Personally, I think he's made the right decision.
His voice definitely sounds naturally different with the passage of age from the Arkham games era onwards, still very good of course, but sounds more painful for his vocal cords
Back then some cartoons would have a TON of episodes in season 1, called first run syndication. Basically, make enough episodes that tv channels could run it constantly, without doing reruns and burning out the audience. Sell it to a bunch of channels for cheaper than if they were selling to just one, as channels always wanted new content and having that many episodes means they don't have to worry about filling in the time slot.
This is the best version of joker. The other ones that kill 1000s and 1000s makes no sense that he’ll live if ever caught (grieving family members, cops, shadow government etc) and makes Batman kind of bad to let him continue his killing spree time after time.
@@saidi7975 Yeah, like that isn't a thing from since ever. Joker's first appearance was a serial killer in the '39 comics, and he was even intended to die in his second appearance by being stabbed in the hearth. let alone Joker Killing Jason Todd (Robin #2) in the '88s 'A Death in the Family' or threatening to nuke Metropolis in "To Laugh and Die in Metropolis" (1987). Different audiences, different media, different aspects of the character.
Great episode! There's a reason why the animated series Joker is so beloved by so many, he's such an enjoyable character. It's fun seeing him interact with Bruce instead of Batman, it's a totally different dynamic! The Telltale Batman games explore that really well (you play as both Bruce and Batman) - I think you'd enjoy them a lot (especially if you enjoy the villains interacting with one other!) P.S. Sorry if those games have already been recommended to you, or if you've already answered somewhere whether or not you're planning on playing them. Either way, LOVE your content and I'm so excited to see more of these TAS reactions! :D
If you like the Joker, you're sure to like Laughing Fish. Of course, as you said, there are hardly any bad episodes in this series, and it wouldn't hurt to watch the ones besides the real hits
Watching you react to this was amazing and hilarious! Amazing video and I love your laugh, it’s contagious and adorable. I’m definitely subscribing to your channel, I can tell your content is fire! Thank you for the awesome video🫶🏻
One thing: this episode was based upon a real life attempt to build a vast Vegas-style resort too far from Las Vegas; it cost vast sums, was more car park than resort / casino, stood no chance of succeeding and had it's decor completely changed at vast expense to try and convince the marks it was a different place. Guess what 1980s - 1990s failed businessman was involved.
If you're taking input on which episodes to edit, I'd love to see 'The Man Who Killed Batman' as one of them. Easily one of my favorite episodes. Loving your reactions and post-episode talks, by the way! You're one of the few reactors I come back to over and over, and not just for a single series.
I used to watch Batman with Kevin Conroy playing him, I would always imagine myself talking with him and taking a picture with him like good friends, but know that Kevin's passed away, I now think "I never got to meet him, I wanted to meet him"
1:28 it makes sense to me that Mad Hatter and Scarecrow are playing chess, they are both highly intelligent people whose M,O's revolve around manipulating the minds of others so I can see them finding common ground and becoming friends.
Didn't recognise you at first in the thumbnail and thought "who this now reacting to Batman TAS?" Liteweight Gaming just started recently and she's got dark hair now but I was so used to her being blonde. :P Anyways fun episode as usual. :D
I'd really love to see you react to "Batman: The Mystery of Batwoman". It's a movie that takes place after the Batman Animated Series and is canon to it.
I don't know if you noticed, but the guy who caught Batman looking at Kaiser's profile on The Joker was actually the same man who let The Joker go purposefully in Arkham Asylum earlier in the episode.
Honestly this is one of my favorite joker episodes and definitely one of the funniest episodes on the show, i’ve heard that many people don’t like this episode and it’s because they use a different animation company, Akom animations, they did some other episodes of the show too. including "moon of the wolf". apparently Bruce timm himself really hated the subpar animation so he decided to stop using the company a few episodes after this one, honestly though I don’t mind it, Gives it a bit of a Disney cartoon vibe.
There will come times when Joker-based stories are decidedly darker in this series. I THINK this was generally intended to be a kid friendly show, but at times the writers pushed to the limit when it came to the Joker.
I'd like to point out that Bruce Wayne was caught on camera, cheating, at a casino... and got away with it. Kaiser. Hmm. I guess he's German. So there's a guy with a German background who went bankrupt, while working on a casino. Why does that sound familiar?
The man who earlier tried copyrighting fish now pissed off at someone copyrighting his own face 🤣🤣 Which imho should be illegal, even if the guy’s a criminal psycho
I mean there are always less good episodes but I do like most of them maybe just 3-5 I think are boring. Batman in my basement is funny but wacky. Terrible Trio I enjoy but a lot of people dislike. Prophecy of Doom is kind of boring. Some think The Forgotten is bad but I disagree. The underdwellers is the last one some think dose´t fit Batman.

Also, “Off-Balance” is an important upcoming episode to watch. You’ll know immediately when you see it

"Without Batman crime has no punchline" - Joker
His voice definitely sounds naturally different with the passage of age from the Arkham games era onwards, still very good of course, but sounds more painful for his vocal cords
Gonna miss is joker💯🔥🔥💯
As much as we'd like to keep things the same, the passage of time makes this impossible. We need a new iconic pair
It really is amazing how in character that is.

6:58 fun fact: Ernie Hudson from Ghostbusters voiced the security guard in this episode.
BTAS Joker has the best mix since he’s does dumb wacky schemes like in old comics but also has no problem killing people and be really threatening.
Robin’s reckoning and Shadow of the bat. My two favorite episodes of the series. Both are two parters as well.
What about two-face and the demon's quest?
Honestly, I would love to see your reaction to all those episodes you named at the end. There's a terrific run of episodes coming up.
Luckily Caleb is loving editing these episodes, so I think this is possible!!
9:29 joker is humming like Curly Howard from the 3 stooges.
Funny episode! Joker owned this being a gaslighting troll. One of Mark Hamill's best episodes. Every time Joker laughs, it's funny.

I blame the 00's edge on that...

I was just gifted them and I definitely wanna play :) thank you!!
one of the three best jokers. There's Mark Hamill, Heath Ledger and the Telltale version, because it's so different
"It's an homage to me! I'm almost sorry I have to blow it up." 🤣 Joker in a nutshell.
Mark Hamill's Joker laugh has, and always will be, contagious for me
Joker saying 'All work and no play...' is fun, as his name is Jack Napier, someone Joker probably considers a 'dull boy'.
Also perhaps a shout out to the shining starring another iconic joker, Jack Nicholson
The one of the file batman was looking at said jack napier aka joker

Thank you for all your reactions to this show
You gotta see "the man who killed Batman" and "Robins Reckoning" for sure

90's Joker just RULES, whether DCAU or the comics due to O'Neil 's editorial control, the clown was at his PEAK !
I'd really love to see you react to "Batman: The Mystery of Batwoman". It's a movie that takes place after the Batman Animated Series and is canon to it.
it's not very good unfortunately. it was made waaaay after the show ended.
@@whodatninja439 what are even talking about? It is 100% on par with the series.
@@Knightcowboy89 it wasnt even included in the box set, lol.
@@whodatninja439 because, as you said, it was made later. Several years after the series ended. But it is still on par with the new Batman adventures.
Great reaction 🔥💯 nice hair
Joker's wild indeed. Great video Megan. 👍
I don't know if you noticed, but the guy who caught Batman looking at Kaiser's profile on The Joker was actually the same man who let The Joker go purposefully in Arkham Asylum earlier in the episode.
1:32 Is that Lock-Up?
Ayyy they said "I'll get Dr. Bartholomew" like his doctor from Dark Knight Returns, I *NEVER* caught that before!
The Batman/Superman episodes in these series were so golden.
1:34 In the beginning of the episode the joker was whistling the looney tunes theme.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm movie should be checked out
9:23 That's a Three Stooges reference. Joker was doing an impression of Curly Howard: m.ua-cam.com/video/g5j8Jioan1w/v-deo.html
Everyone loves the Joker.
Sounds like he's whistling the looney tunes theme, what a maroon is a bugs bunny saying also
I actually have this TV series 😂 I bought it during last summer 🌞 at Walmart 😀
Season 1 Ep 51 - 52. Great Robin content. I would love to see your reaction to that storyline. One of my favorites.
In my opinion the episode joker's wild is my favorite joker episode in this series.
Jack Napier reference
The man who earlier tried copyrighting fish now pissed off at someone copyrighting his own face 🤣🤣 Which imho should be illegal, even if the guy’s a criminal psycho
Wutdaheeeel you look like alanah pearce with that hair
So ya mark Hamill playing voice acting is funny 🤣
Joker: "Why can't he ever stay dead?!"🤣
Well he got his wish cause in "Gotham Knights" Batman IS staying dead this time😒
What happen daredevil S2. Episode 8,9,10,11,12,13 reaction when are u going to react to them
