Is there an English version of this? Or one with subtitles?
I'd love to be able to understand the narrative & conversations in this!
I just love Lone, I just think she is amazing, she has done so much for the Orangutans. I have developed a strong wish to be able to retire and go be a Baby's Sister there.

Lone is one in a million. She is 100% dedicated to these marvellous creatures with whom we are blessed to share the Earth. It hurts me to see their forest home being destroyed, I can't watch those scenes; it's heartbreaking. The Malaysian Govt's greed is destroying the forests, and we in Australia are partly to blame. Do not buy tropical hardwoods, although they're offered as a default here. Buy wood from renewable sources only. Ask before you buy. Please; for the sake of all creatures who call these forests home. and for our sake too. Without these forests we die too.

One consistent thing I have noticed about videos of Lone with orangsutans is this: No matter when or where, whenever Lone is there the Orangutans focus in on Lone! They watch her every move and pay attention to her every word. They love Lone. Hundreds upon hundreds of Orangs pass thru Nyaru Menteng and in each and every video their love of Lone is clearly seen. It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen!
God bless all of you who work tirelessly to rescue, save, rehabilitate the Orangs in order to return the to their rightful and proper place in the Wild.

《Crazy》 NURSE Kathy Does anyone know which illness she had? I thought it was malaria, but they keep saying it was an infection and I dont believe that's an infection, so I don't know.

She went into Renal Failure. Which means her kidneys quit filtering her blood of toxins. So the toxins and any day to day medications just continue to build up. Even safe meds we take every day like, Acetaminophen, will build up to dangerous levels. If not found and reversed the acetaminophen alone will poison a patient and cause the liver to shut down. Without the liver the patient will die.
Infections, and other many, many other disorders can cause kidney failure like Lupus, and autoimmune diseases, urinary tract infections, major surgeries that tax the entire body. Severe pneumonia. Ect ect.... that is why they draw blood about everyday, several times a day when a patient is hospitalized. To monitor kidney functions, respiratory functions, liver functiins, white blood cells count to watch for infection, red blood cell counts and platelets for clotting ability and anemia....there is just many things a doctor can monitor in the lab work alone.
Now what happened to start the ball rolling, I'm not certain. But I know she did have malaria around that time. She could have gotten very dehydrated during that and it all placed a strain on her organ systems.

Lone Droscher Neilson, founder of Nyru Mentang. I later read it was caused from bouts of malaria.

Lone is the best for saving the Orangutans. The just love her. I like to meet her some time in my life. I'm 72 years old. I wish I would have done things different when I was younger. I just love animals. If it wern't for Lone, we would not have ant Orangutans. I give her a lot of credit. May God watch her always. Diane Binder

+Diane Binder The man who started the kfc restaurants was almost 80 years old, i believe, when he opened the first fried chicken restaurant. It's never too late. you should start a "gofundm.com" page and ask for sponsors to help you go there and volunteer. people have gotten a lot of success with that. there are a lot of ridiculous requests on that site that actually get people to give money. This would be an honerable thing to ask, i'm sure you won't have to wait long. I hope this comment finds you in good health. Good luck!

Dadang 2017 these countries are so poor that they will sell their soul to the devil for a dollar because often times the advanced countries like Europe, Russia and North America go in and promise betterment for their people and land that they sign papers in which they don't even understand most of the time and then the countries go in and begin to rape and pillage the land. When they are done taking everything that they want , they leave often times leaving a huge mess and environmental nightmares for the people to live with. When confronted, they tell the people "you signed the contractual agreement" and walk away Scott free to make huge profits while the country self destructs from the inside. It has been like this forever. Not until the people get educated to protect themselves from these snake oils salesmen can they and their country be productive. The big countries alike the G8 didn't get that way by helping other countries before they helped themselves first.

I cant believe how wonderful they are with their babies. At about 40 minutes in, when they rescued the adult female with her older child, the way she held on to him was awesome to watch.
