Thanks for that lesson that is very interesting rhythmically. As an intermediate player I have to fight not always to start on the beat! To get the starting chromatic melody, isn't it easier to think tritone sub on the 5?

For Example 5 - it might be interesting to finger the notes of the enclosures with the 4th finger “exclusively” for the Fm9 and Bb7#5 voicing & use the 3rd finger “exclusively” for the Ebmaj9 chord.
