hi love you both i discovered your videos last month and i am addicted! i am senior and suffer from severe anxiety so i do not travel however i am seeing the world thru your yes so thank you! sending much love from your adopted gram in Ct xoxo
David I love you. Your fear of heights is the same as my deceased husband, (Charles). He would do anything for me, including heights just so I could laugh at him. He has been gone for 9 years and your video today brought a smile on my face…
Please can you do a tour of the medical facilities/hospital on a cruise. I’m a midwife/nurse and I always want to know what the medical facilities are and what they look like. Thankyou
@@clarehagley2165 You should post this in the main thread, not in a comment thread. They’ll probably never see this because it looks like a reply to the OP of this comment, and not to them or their video.
Welcome to my home! I’ve lived in Alaska for 58 years. It was amazing watching you see Alaska for the first time. I take all this beauty for granted, seeing it everyday, is no big deal to us. You did a well advising to dressing in layers, for the weather- it can change at any moment. As far as coming across a bear don’t worry, you don’t have to outrun the bear, you just have to outrun at least one of your friends. Sorry, that’s an old joke in rural Alaska!😂 P.S. You were in the middle of nowhere. Hoonah is a small village, totally unaccessible except by sea.👍
David's face going down that zipline was so funny and Ben's too, but it did look awesome, when my wife said Ben and David are in the fisherman's daughter I had to ask what she was watching. Sunday wouldn't be the same without Ben and David love these guys.
Took my elderly mother on an excursion. Saw so many animals she said are we in a Disney documentary. It was a bucket list treat for her. So glad we made that happened.
I don’t know if it was because you guys were so genuinely excited or what, but it felt like you were carefree and really showing your true selves - what a wonderfully entertaining vlog ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled that our excitement and genuine selves came through in the vlog. We always aim to share our authentic experiences and bring joy and entertainment to our viewers. Your support means a lot to us, and we're grateful to have you as a part of our community. @@Cruisewith I can always tell it is the true you two, that is what brings me back to your video's, you are the real deal! And being stuck at home so much, who wouldn't want to laugh and enjoy good videos?Your content is most excellent, I am subscribing now! Btw, I am a pilot, but out of medical so I do not fly much unless with a friend, I used to be heavy into aerobatic's in the 1980's.....I could give Ben a ride that would make him kiss the ground every time he stood up! lol
I went on a cruise on celebrity x to Alaska in 2005 with my grandparents, it was INCREDIBLE easily one of my favorite memories!! Sadly a year later my grandma died from a very aggressive form of cancer, she was like a mom to me. And my grandpa passed just last year. I will treasure those memories forever. I definitely cried through most of this episode, thank you for this video.
Oh my goodness! I'm a fan of all your videos but this one was my favorite to date! My 8yo daughter and I screamed with laughter and squealed with excitement through practically the whole video! Well done on that zip line experience. We actually had to watch that part twice. Thank you for always bringing laughter and adventure to our Sundays!
YES. Went to the far North for the Aurora and no light pollution so to see STARS TO THE HORIZON. Anchorage to Fairbanks into the Arctic Circle to Coldfoot, Alaska on the Dalton Hwy. Oh. MY. Glorious!
New slogan for our 49th & largest state here in the US - “Alaska: The Land of Fires & Lumberjacks. Treat Yourself” 😂 Seriously, fabulous vlog as always. You can put the cedar blocks in your closet or your dresser to keep away the moths. Between Ben on the sky rider in fear & David on the zip line in full scream, I’m in stitches! You two have put a big smile on face with every video of this cruise, so thank you! This old girl needs to start saving her pennies; you’ve inspired me to look into taking this journey myself!
Haha, I love the new slogan for Alaska! "The Land of Fires & Lumberjacks. Treat Yourself" - it's catchy and fun! I'm glad our vlog brought a smile to your face. Saving up for an Alaskan journey sounds like a fantastic plan. It's truly a remarkable destination that's worth experiencing. Happy cruising! 😄🚢
What an adventure guys, I just loved it. Alaska is so great and the bonus of going in May is that the swarms of mosquitoes haven’t arrived yet. Another bonus is that the locals have just weathered a long winter and are very glad to see the tourists return. I can’t wait until the next episode.
I'm sure some people like when the tourists come back, but I don't lol. Hardly any tourist knows how to drive yet still do in huge RVs that hog parking lots and the road. It's pretty funny when they ask if they can exchange US currency to Alaska currency though.
I've been to Alaska twice. My favorite part was sailing through Glacier Bay. Sailing through ice bugs, we saw so many seals and watched chunks of ice fall from the glaciers. It was all amazing.
Been a fan of your videos for a long while now. We are doing Alaska in 2 weeks time and seeing the joy and excitement on both of your faces makes us all smile and want to join in. We even treated ourselves to 2 t-shirts of yours. Breakfast dessert and Banana slap. If you knew us, you would understand that they are a perfect match. Out of all the phrases, you picked the best. Can't wait for next weeks episode and see what else you both get up to. No Sunday is complete without a bit of Ben & David in your life.
Thank you so much for your support and kind words! We're thrilled to hear that our videos bring you joy and excitement. We hope you have an incredible time on your Alaska cruise! And we're glad you found the perfect t-shirts to match your personalities. We appreciate you being a part of our cruise adventures and we can't wait to share more with you. So good I had to watch it twice! I think I had a smile on my face the whole video. I don't like the cold and I thought Alaska was boring from all the other video vloggers I've seen but yours has made me really want to go. You guys really do a great job of bringing locations to life for us. Thank you so much
Just came across your channel! I am now going to go back and watch all the episodes I have missed out on. You make cruising such fun and your zest for life is a tonic. My husband and I will be doing our first ever cruise next year and your vlog has made me so excited for it. We are from South Africa and will be flying to the US to join a party of people for one of my sisters-in-law’s special birthdays. Happy sailing guys and keep up the excellent work 🤗🤗🤗
I love how you over came your fear of heights!! Your a total bad ass lol!! After watching your video of Alaska now I'm definitely putting it on the list of places to go!!!
Okay it’s the character development of Ben and David for me 🫶🏽 conquering heights and enjoying the experience in the process. I’m so happy for you guyssss!! 🎉🥳👏🏽 19:01

It makes my heart happy to see you y'all experience Alaska for the first time and how happy you are taking it all in. It makes me want to go back again soon. I will never get tired of the scenery and wildlife.
Having lived for many years in Labrador, Northern British Columbia and Northern Alberta, I took most of it all for granted. Your enthusiasm has made me realize how much I had in my own back yard. Love your videos🛳

That gondola up to the zip line is no joke! I laughed so hard at Ben's banter. My husband was like "do you notice how all the gondolas coming down are empty?" LOL Just like us, and you, I'm sure many people zipline down, but at the time it was hilarious. Fear does that to you. P.S. I have the "I survived" T-shirt. ;)
Haha, that's a funny observation! The gondola ride up to the zip line can definitely be an exhilarating experience, and it's completely understandable to have a mix of excitement and fear. It's great that you and your husband were able to have a good laugh about it. And kudos to you for conquering the zip line and earning the "I survived" T-shirt! It's a fun memento to remember your thrilling adventure. Thanks for sharing your amusing story, and I'm glad you enjoyed watching our video!
Born and raised in Alaska. Moose in the back yard, had to watch my dogs safety. I miss the mountains and I appreciated them everyday. Miss the clean air and water Now in Seattle. Great you’re having a wonderful time
Sounds like you have some amazing memories of Alaska! Moose in the backyard and being surrounded by mountains must have been quite an experience. While Seattle may be different, I'm glad to hear you're still enjoying your time there. Clean air and water are definitely something to appreciate. Thank you for sharing your Alaskan roots with us! 🏔️🦌🌲🌊
Another great video!! I would like to mention to others that although many of these excursions are expensive you can experience Alaska on a budget too. There are many videos out there for families who have limited funds.
A quick observation that I made a couple of years back, if you carry an umbrella in Juneau, AK, you're a tourist! Ha ha! But it's often true! You wear appropriate rain gear and don't let the rain stop you from doing too much, otherwise, you'd never do anything!!
I was in Alaska May 2023 and absolutely loved it! I’m going back again in May 2024 on Norwegian bliss and I can’t wait!!!!! It is absolutely gorgeous up there!
This was the trip I wanted to see you guys do and O. M. freaking G. I was not disappointed! Watching your excitement and enjoyment was wonderful. The scenery was amazingly beautiful and it was so much fun to watch both your joy. I so want to visit Alaska one day. My favourite video of yours so far
So jealous of all the wildlife you saw, especially the bear and the inquisitive little sea otter poking it’s head out of the water. We’re off on a cruise to Greenland shortly so hoping we get a few whales too.
Awesome guys!! Sailed on Encore early June 2023 and the cruise was amazing! Was the trip of a lifetime. Alaska is truly incredible and I highly recommend it to anyone considering it.
I have been to Alaska many years ago on a cruise. The scenery is like nothing else I have ever seen. Such majesty and grandeur! One of my favorite things to do was in Juneau was go on an excursion called The Gold Creek Salmon Bake. It was at the spot at the base of this huge waterfall where they first discovered gold in Alaska. There was all you can eat Sockeye Salmon cooked for you over on open fire pit. They had all the trimmings and it was so delicious! We then were handed mining pans and were able to pan for gold in the creek! I actually found some! We then stopped by the Red Dog Saloon for some adult libations on the way back to the ship. What was your favorite thing in Alaska?
Went to Alaska 1999, was also amazed at the beauty in every direction. Best for me was the stop in Juneau, where we took a small plane up to Denali. The entire mountain was cloud-free, so we had incredible views. Pilot said we were extremely lucky, because very often the mountain is obscured by cloud cover. The plane had a service ceiling of about 13,000 feet, but because it was so clear it seemed as though we were right up at the peak. Just amazing!
Wow, your experience in Alaska sounds absolutely incredible! Seeing Denali with clear skies must have been a breathtaking sight. It's true that the weather can be unpredictable in Alaska, and being able to enjoy unobstructed views of the mountain is truly a stroke of luck. Small plane rides offer a unique perspective and allow you to appreciate the grandeur of the landscape. We're glad you had such an amazing time and were able to make lasting memories. Alaska is truly a remarkable destination.
When I cruised to Alaska, on the Princess Dawn, I was amazed at the beauty of this state. I would stand on the upper deck of the ship and actually felt like I was a having a religious experience!! Our ship stopped in Glacier Bay, and did a 360 degree turn. We watched the glaciers, whales and dolphins. It was June. Just sweatshirt weather. Unforgettable!!
THANK YOU!!!! We just got back from Alaska and booked the zip line in Icy Straight based on how much we loved your reaction during this video! IT WAS EPIC!!! Thank you again!
You're very welcome! We're thrilled to hear that you had an amazing time in Alaska and enjoyed the zip line experience in Icy Strait Point. It's truly an exhilarating activity, and we're so glad our video inspired you to try it out! Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and we hope you have many more fantastic adventures in the future. Happy cruising! 🚢😊
We had an Amazing time on our Alaska cruise. I always wanted to go but the hubby wasn’t so keen on it. I had him checkout the excursions and said if I would zip line he would go! I had the cruise booked in a flash! 😂 Loved the whale watching, zip lines, hiking! Oh my gosh it was all so beautiful. We saw so much wildlife. We will definitely go again. I didn’t want your video to end! Enjoy! Thanks for taking all of us on your journey!❤
I’ve been to Alaska with my mom back in 2008. Best cruise ever! We cruised on HAL Rhyndam and I will never forget the cold breeze in the morning, the mountain view from our cabin, the glacier etc . We also did the whale excursion and it was one of a lifetime experience!!! Until today my mom is reminiscing this cruise 🚢. The zip line footage was hilarious!! Kudos for doing that! Very courageous 😊
Hey David, you know that mint jelly you put on your lamb at Easter? It’s actually apple jelly with mint because mint has no pectin and will not jell on its own.
Alaska inner passage was our first cruise on Celebrity Infinity about 8-10 yrs ago. It was absolutely amazing. Saw whales and eagles. No bears. Went to a husky sledge training camp and got to pet lots of puppies!
Thank you I love your video. Alaska is nature at his finest. It was my coldest cruise. You guys are bless to have perfect sunny weather. It normally rain in Alaska. The local peoples wear rain boots all year round.
Thank you! Alaska truly is nature at its finest. We were lucky to have such perfect sunny weather during our cruise. I can imagine how rainy it can get there. Rain boots must be a staple for the locals! Stay dry and Happy Cruising!
I’ve been watching so many cruise videos lately and this is the first one I’ve watched, that REALLY wanna do myself. I love cold weather an mountains etc. honestly considering booking this for myself
REAL apple jelly is lovely. That stuff in the tub, not so much. Warning, Alaska is addictive! I’m headed there again soon. The scenery is just so beautiful.
What an AMAZING Alaska trip! I think is the first time I watch a fun trip to Alaska cruise video. You guys had adventure and I enjoyed watch it so much
I did two Alaskan cruises with Holland America. Both times, we went in September. Both times we saw the Northern Lights!! Loved it! Favorite excursions or places: Sitka, city highlights, Skagway, self guided walking and did land tour to Fairbanks. There is so much more to do, got to go again.
Aww, thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled that our videos make you feel like you're right there with us on the cruise. Sharing our enthusiasm and experiences is what we love to do. We appreciate your support and sending lots of love right back to you! ❤️🚢🥰
❤ I love your channel. I would just add one thing, after going on manyAlaskan cruises, I have learned that inside the ship it is warm enough. So for the fancy dinner night women can still wear sleeveless dresses. I always do and I am plenty warm. I was also plenty warm in Lido and the spa. but bringing a puffy for outside is an absolute must.
Great video guys! My wife and I were in Alaska in May 2014 and it was amazing. Icy Strait Point has been developed since then but it’s good to see some things are still there, the restaurant and the shops haven’t changed much and the food in the former was excellent. Weather was cold but sunny when we were there only place we saw rain was ICP Juno and Ketchikan were warm and sunny. Great place and great cruise, enjoy guys.🎉
One of my favorite vids by you guys ❤ we live in Southern California and did a Princess cruise to Alaska on the Royal 5/28/22. We were absolutely blown away by the beauty and wildlife. So blown away that we decided to stay in a cabin Airbnb in the middle of the woods once we got off the ship. One week of cruise sites and ports and another week of countless moose, eagles, and bears. We fell in love and cannot wait to return, so I understand you’re amazement! Also, I must say both your expressions on that zipline excursion were PRICELESS 😂😂😂
Hooray! I had such a good time in Icy Strait Point last month. The day we arrived was calm and partly cloudy, and it made my whale watching excursion so enjoyable. Alaska is so beautiful!
Thankfully, it was so foggy when we were there, we didn't have a choice and could not do. I am now realizing how thankful I am. Good on you all for doing that.
I hope you two are doing okay, please do not let the jerks win, you are better than this, soooo much better! Please still keep the content going.I miss you and you are great at what you do to!
I went to Icy Strait Point, Alaska on the Norwegian Encore in September 2022 because there was a rockslide in Skagway which is where we were originally supposed to go. I'm very glad that we got to go there instead because I took the gondolas and did the zip line like you! This was an amazing experience, especially because I got to do it with my family (and I'm a thrill seeker so this was perfect)! Glad you're enjoying Alaska!

This was the trip I wanted to see you guys do and O. M. freaking G. I was not disappointed! Watching your excitement and enjoyment was wonderful. The scenery was amazingly beautiful and it was so much fun to watch both your joy. I so want to visit Alaska one day. My favourite video of yours so far
do it. go to Alaska. you won't regret it.
Alaska is absolutely stunning, overwhelming constant beauty everywhere, and the people are so friendly!
Thank you for sharing. You both made me smile. There is NOTHING like Alaska
I grinned like a fool through the whole video....I love that you loved it so much!
Apple jelly, apple butter and apple sauce... All a must!!!!!
I am so glad you enjoyed my home state. Alaska is beautiful. It never gets old living here. Enjoyed seeing your video and excitement.
my absolute favorite cruise has been to Alaska each and every time
Went to Alaska 1999, was also amazed at the beauty in every direction.
Love the zip line intro never fail to dissapoint ben and david
What a dream come true this trip sounds like. How exciting. It definitely seems like a true blessing.
Wow what a day!
THANK YOU!!!! We just got back from Alaska and booked the zip line in Icy Straight based on how much we loved your reaction during this video! IT WAS EPIC!!! Thank you again!

I loved all the flowers in Alaska. And the giant ornamental cabbages!
So fun to see your excitement with Alaska! It’s an amazing place!
Omg, David’s expression made my day! Love this vlog , Alaska is on my list 😊
OMG I absolutely love them every single video that I watched of these two
Thank you!
Can’t stop watching your videos, inspiring me to vlog 🇳🇴
The rush from zip-lining - just wow!
Hey David, you know that mint jelly you put on your lamb at Easter? It’s actually apple jelly with mint because mint has no pectin and will not jell on its own.
First 2 weeks of june are best for alaska. No bugs. After that the insects carry you away. Kathy Thomson
Alaska inner passage was our first cruise on Celebrity Infinity about 8-10 yrs ago. It was absolutely amazing. Saw whales and eagles. No bears. Went to a husky sledge training camp and got to pet lots of puppies!
We lived on Kodiak Island Alaska for three years. My dad was stationed there in the navy. We had bears, seals, otters, Fox, and tons of salmon.
You guys had adventure and I enjoyed watch it so much
Jelly in the U.S. is like jam but made with fruit juice, so it’s clear. Jelly in the U.K. is just called “Jello” here.
Thank you guys I love you both.
I grew up with my Grandmother's homemade apple jelly. It's getting harder to find and I'm always excited when I do. Miss her homemade jelly
We loved Alaska so much last year we are going back in a week! It’s so beautiful
Thank you for sharing!
Your videos make me feel like I'm with you on the cruise. Your enthusiasm is contagious! Thank you. I love you both! ❤🛳️🐳🦭🦦 🐻 🍔🌭🛥️🚠🚌🏔️❄️☀️
Aww, thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled that our videos make you feel like you're right there with us on the cruise. Sharing our enthusiasm and experiences is what we love to do. We appreciate your support and sending lots of love right back to you! ❤️🚢🥰
Thanks for this vlog. Sail on! I love the Alaska cruise. Have an amazing week. Cheers.
Thank you for the video!
OMG it's Ben and David with Dee and Jay, my two favorite cruise channels!!!!
OMG!!!😂 died of laughter!!this is an AMAZING video!!! THANKS!!!
Guys one of your best blogs
Alaska wildlife and scenery well documented
Alaska is so beautiful!
over 100 cruises, wow, i am envious...your blogs are great and improve all the time
It was 95° here in Los Angeles. Thanks for letting us L.A. peeps to live vicariously through your cool weather.
Thankfully, it was so foggy when we were there, we didn't have a choice and could not do. I am now realizing how thankful I am. Good on you all for doing that.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us, and we're glad everything worked out for you!
Ben, you crack me up. You are hysterical. Watch your videos over and over. Love you 2 🎉
