This combo is great for outdoors, especially at night! I tried a couple of times in summer but as you'd expect in daylight the projector image is significantly more washed out - however the screen material does a good job at combating that. For dark rooms / night time it's epic though!
Yeah man! They're perfect for having friends over to watch movies and play games, a totally different experience than gaming at a desk. It's a lot of fun! Thanks for watching!
Nice video! I wonder how long this projectors lamp lasts? Also if it runs 4k 60 and not 120, are you sure it runs 1080p 240 instead of 120? great video and I have been watching you for a while!
Most if not all 4k projectors under 5k work like this. It’s pixel shifted, so the DLP chip is 1080p, but displays 1/4th of the picture at a time at 240hz to create 4k60. If you drop down to 1080 it can draw the entire picture at once so can run at 120 or 240fps. It’s why 4k120 projectors are super expensive, it’s not just a case of increasing the refresh rate the DLP chip would literally need to be 4x the size.
you can't and that's the most frustrating thing about projectors. They don't support much resolutions even though they clearly can. ViewSonic is the only one on the market that supports many resolutions and even ultra widescreen. Optoma is starting to do the same. But the rest are lacking with just 1080p and 4k.
You can, cheapest official one is nearly £200. There are a lot of cheap solutions though, albeit not so convenient. I honestly didn't think it was going to be an issue so didn't think to do anything, but I wish I did haha.
Im tempted to get this but Im very confused. Every video I see has this extremely awful rainbow blur around things in the scene when things are moving. For example its so bad in the Witcher 3 footage I cant actually see Geralt just a blur of rainbow???? Its really bad and unwatchable. But people are buying these? So is it just a on camera and not on the projector? Is very hard on the eyes and dont want to buy this and find I can watch it.
It's Nearly Christmas! Anyone getting any new tech / games? Possibly getting my hands on a Meta Quest 3!
i have a meta quest 3 and its so nice with 4k res per eye, if you buy it now you will get that wrath game with it. Totaly worth it!
@@MaggiTheGuardian Awesome! Any other recommendations? I'm gonna get beatsaber ofc

Already a year!!? Still looks great. Does it work outdoors?

Can you set the TK700 in 1440P, and if so, at what refresh rate ?
