Basically samsung made the last years A54 into this year's A35.

pretty much, but that's a good thing. you're getting last year's higher end phone for the price of a lower end phone this year.
Cheaper, more optimized, better OS support.
This phone is bigger, looks better, and has more ram

@@IzzuddinRafliBecause the A55 pricing is absurdly high compared to A54 and A53 and that would make it compete in the same price segment as the S23 FE.
@@D14V0R05 the price on the a35 is absurdly high as well now, atleast in my country. It's the same price as the a54 was at launch. And the 256 GB version of the a35 is the same as the 256 a55, mind boggling.
The phones are so similar now that the a55 just looks like a gimped phone, should have better specs for the price. Neither make sense really.
@@steveguy3 Yeah the A35 also has ridiculous pricing that equals that of the A54 on launch, with the A25 being more akin to what the A3X pricing used to be about.

Regarding CPU performance, it seems to be a downgrade because the A34 was outperforming the A54 in everyday usage.
It has an exynos chip so nono for me have the A34 atm that one outperformes my friends A54

Mediatek 1080 regularly outperforms Exynos 1380. Better chip in the cheaper device was discussed in the majority of reviews last year, look it up.

Good for Samsung, as they focused on security for the Galaxy A35 & A55.
Although the A35 has a good display, those thick bezels made it a phone from 2019.
Honestly my a51 has a better looking display because of the slim bezzel.

I hope the Exynos 1480 trickles down to the A36 next year while maintaining the same price of A35.

More features are good, but it's no real upgrade if you're paying double the price you used to pay for your old phone.
In 5 years the A1x will cost 500€, and the A5x 1000€

I'm glad to see that samsung has gone with relaxed, realistic-like color processing this time. My a54's photos are always too oversaturated, which is not my taste.

I wanted the a34 because it was supposed to be better than the a53 at the time. I didn't get it though I got the a52.
I also have the A34 and my gosh.. I love this device. Won't need another phone in a while. Salute to Samsung

It doesn't have 3.5mm jack to connect headphones.
You will have to use a USB converter to connect your headphones.
And this usb convert make your USB of your phones a risk damage easily.
So sad for the bad reviews

Im in dilemma whether to get the Google Pixel 6a or the Samsung A35. Can anyone share their experiences with the camera quality on both devices? Which one takes better photos in your opinion?
Google Pixel 6 Pro camera is a beast on its own.
However, if you would like a quality GP, go for GP8 Pro and above.
But 6pro ain't bad at all as camera quality is superb. 👌

you can buy a54 less than 300 usd while the a35 is much more expensive. way to go samsung

Should be good for mid-intense gaming
Personally I think this is the best phone you can get at the moment as the price is not sky high and the software will make it work for up to 5 years. If you get it for 300 it will cost you 60 per year, this is an acceptable price as an IPhone would cost you 900 and if you use it for 5 years it would cost you 180 per year, quite high. But most people will not use their phone that long but the real question is how many functions of a phone you really use. Many just do a few pictures and social media, maybe paying for some stuff with the phone and occasionally a short game on rides or waiting times. Most people do not use their phone for major word documents or video editing all day, highend gaming or something big, people tend to forget that or just buy it to have if needed without ever using it like this as they tend to have other devices that are better.

I feel like A35 will be overall good... Even better than th A55.. as both phones are not for gaming... I wanted a mobile with good camera... Guess A35 would be better option... Hence i ordered it.. People complaining about not having snapdragon chipset, must understand that Samsung is trying to improve their inhouse chipset... More they use their chipset... The more they get to improve and we shall have better chipset options in future other than snapdragon.
They already have better chipsets, just just keep them for their higher tier phones. A35 seems decent enough, might get one if my a52 dies 😂
Yea true and they have a lot of time to improve their chipset in terms of software since they now offer 7 year support. I'm also gonna order my a35 soon.
the only problem with these phones is that they can't realy compete with second hand, cleanly used S series phones.
in where i live, some people are selling their s22 pluses and ultras at very similar prices to this phone and an S22 ultra will blow this phone out of the park even if its 2 years old because it was build to compete for the best phone.
whether they're fine with buying second hand is completely up to the buyer of course.
In the UK this is £339. I got it for £188 after £50 cashback and discounts with trade in of a really old nokia phone.

USA version of the A55
GSM Arena needs to measure phone heat when fast charging. Samsung phones heat up when not slow charging.
Just a question,when someone says chipset for a phone is that like the CPU/GPU or is it similar to the motherboard chipset which communicates with the CPU?
80+ minutes to full charge in this era is unacceptable atleast in android space .
The chipset is fine, the cameras are okay, the display is great, but the bezels. Those bezels can fit a whole titanic inside of it! Smh 🤦♂️

its for customers like you that companies tend to increase the rear camera count but with trash cameras. those bezels are not getting your way in daily use kid.

I recommended this to my mom and she bought this to replace her old s7. She didn't want to spend €800 on a phone, so I think this is suitable for her.
Samsung really needs to stop making basically the same phone who always falls into its predecessors bigger brothers range and being refreshed a little bit to call it a new phone.
I mean this is basically the A54, just with a new name and the same (or cheaper) price tag😂
