One of my favorite remixes! Me and some fellow whovians are starting a Doctor Who-related podcast - could we use this as our intro and outro song? Again, properly crediting you!
This is fantastic! I'm working on remastering the 60s Doctor Who story The Gunfighters for my own personal use and was wondering if I can use this? You will be given full credit. Cheers
I'm making a compilation of every time the title of the episode is said in the episode from 1963 to 2013- do you mind if I use this for it (you will be credited for it)? I'll have to repeat it a few times though, as it is quite a long video!
Hey no worries - go for it!! If you want the mp3 - go to Whomix (just google it) and you can find The Doctor Dances for download there. Cheers! Glad you like it.
albert jan de rooij I've been thinking of putting together a video of myself playing the guitar parts. The chords are fairly basic... It's mostlt all barre chords - the main riff is just Em / B / Em / B / Em / G / B / Em / B - then a tail of D/D/C# B7 (ring out) The other riff is just G / D / G / C / G / C / G then B7 at the tail. There's one other guitar part playing single-note stuff a bit like the song Wipeout, so there's three guitar tracks in total.
KingNZ Great, thanks! Please do put together a video tutorial, that would be great. And fun to watch as well! I play in a (Dutch) surf band and we are going to play your version of the ˜Doctor Who theme", which I found when I decided to try and play this theme. I wouldn't have been able to do so without your video.... By the way, sorry for being so late with my post, I should have checked it before... Where are you from?
albert jan de rooij wow man - that's so cool that your band is playing it! I'd love to upload a tutorial but unfortunately it's a matter of having enough time for me. I'm from the South Island of New Zealand.
Great, New Zealand! Have been to Australia many times, but, apart from a transit in Auckland, never to NZ. Anyway, when we play your Dr. Who version, we might record it at one point, then I'll send you the result. For now, please find some of the tracks we play on soundcloud.com/twanginspectors/sets/alpha-breaker. Hope you may one day find the time for recording tutorials!

Thank you! And you're welcome!
Could anyone (the King himself maybe) tell me what chords are being played, especially in the breaks? Is there a tab somewhere out there?
