You never know. I work with a girl who has Roger Daltry's harmonica. She was at a WHO show in Toronto probably 30 years ago. He played harmonica, then leaned over and handed it right to her. She still has it.

See that's the thing with items like this where someone threw it into the crowd and someone caught it. Unless that item that was thrown has something too really say that "Hey, this is legit."
