RICK: “Favorite Actor of All Time” - hasn’t seen Bullitt in 25 years...
I know WTH?
Now I wanna see it I never seen it
🤣🤣🤣
He's more of a _Great Escape_ guy
Rick probably hasn't been to a movie theater in 20 years.
Has anyone ever signed their signature the same exact way every single time? Certainly not me
I don't either. Depends on my mood. Signature authenticators are as shady as pawnbrokers.
thats why they look for multiple errors and not just a single deviation
well they made a software that can detect if someone else tries to use your signature and it says its too low percentage to be yours, so they must be pretty similar...
well some people specially the famous ones tend to perfect their sign...
Never.
Steve McQueen didn't like signing autographs, it's entirely possible he was in a mood because he was pressured to sign this poster, wrote his name in a rush and didn't cross the "T". I'd get a second appraisal.
Not a chance! That signature isn’t even close besides those are sharpies which would not have been used back then in 1968-early to mid 70’s. They looked modern signed.
This is a fantasy piece..these signed movie posters flooded the internet in the late 90’s and 00’s before ebay and co started making half an effort to put an end to it
pawn shops need proof, not possibilities
your not watching pawnstars if you don't scroll through comments
the authenticator didn't bring any comparative pieces and didn't even remove the glass, I wouldn't call that thorough at all and wouldn't take his word on it
This was aired late 2011. Don't even know how big digital pieces they had this time. It's totally different digital world we're living now.
you know they could have edited those parts out
@@MultiJejje It was 2011 not 2001, it was yesterday, the tech was already available at the time
He said he was already familiar with his signature. He must have had many experiences with it. He knows it by heart
@Luffy Chinjah only if you were born the in 2010's, the tech was the same, young people dont have time perspective due to lack of experience, for you 2011 was a long time ago for me it was yesterday time flies after a while, because theres nothing "new" and life is stable and predictable and the tech was the same, even nowsdays unless you are a professional you cant tell the difference, i was watching family guy on ipod in 2007, cameras may be better but the core tech didnt change, the last tech leap was with the smartphones in 2007 after that it was all incremental and if you look up this dude is a fraud, he isnt in the show anymore because after the show aired people contested him legitmacy and it turns out he was a fraud,
....and he prob was waiting for him outside the door to buy it for himself rather than having the pawn stars have it😂
Rick really has a man crush on Steve McQueen
Monarchist 18 It's kind of like archer
Hun !!!
Monarchist 18 Everybody does|||
Steve was the King of Cool. No shame in man crushing on him.
@MrAitraining right?, every generation has its hero, person to look up to, and that is a good thing, as long as the person they lookup to is a good person, and not some social media rat, or some gold tooth rapper...
if his story was legit, he should go after the charity auction.
I'm a forensic marker expert. Bullitt was filmed in '68. The signatures were signed using the same marker, meant all actors HAD to be present to sign the poster. Rare, but possible. There was only one type of marker in the late 60's-late 70's, the traditional black ink refillable metal cylinder with a felt tip. You had to move the marker not-too-fast or gaps would appear. The marker signatures look cleanly and quickly done, and the streaks appear to be contemporary solvent based, single-use marker still in use today, available after the early 80's. McQueen died in 1980.
rick-"I actually have a steve mcqueen signature tat on my lower back"
"So what do you want to do with it?"
- Just wanted to show to you.
Dumb Dumber lol... he’s asking in case they’d rather pawn it than sell
🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@alexteagle9782 it was a joke....
When Rick said he was calling in an expert to authenticate the signatures I was expecting the 'King of Cool' himself to walk in, complete with his I Pad.
Favorite actor of all time but hasn't seen Bullitt un 25 years. 😐
He did act in other films you know.
everyone is still alive except for Steve , ask the others if they signed it , and if they remember seeing Steve signing it
Lmao
Favorite actor of all time but hasn’t seen his best movie in over 25 years ? Okay
This guy has a buddy, friend in everything
"Don't think I've ever seen a poster before" 2 minutes later "The poster without the autographs is worth $1,000". Hmmm
well its a bullit poster, might have heard of them before or just be taking an educated guess based on the popularity of the movie and the rarity of memorobila associated with it
Authentic movie posters of that era for known definitely go for that price.
he never said that he didn't know it existed, just that he's never seen it.
Good point.
nothing weird about that. he probably meant in person.
4:15 "I wish I could say thanks" dude he saved you from spending $3k- you can say thanks
rick "i haven't seen this movie for 25 years"
rick "steve mcqueen is my favourite actor of all time"
lol..
@Luffy Chinjah no but if you didnt watch his most famous movie in 25 years thats not really a fanatic is it.
Tough one....Steve McQueen hated signing stuff and he changed his signature all the time. Some sigs even have fancy loops on the letters and others don’t. It’s real hard to be sure unless there’s some other provenance, like a photo or a personal connection
Lool that guy is drunk asf that signature whole time was probably real xD
Um, no!
greatest car chase ever.love this movie
Guy : Can I change this 10 bucks for one dollars?
Rick : I'll give you 7 dollars and I'm taking a huuuugeeeee risk
Drew is the legit signature expert, not the other scammer who doesn't know what he is doing.
Other guy isn't 😏
Both are fraud af
I’ve he heard he’s super fraud
This poster later sold at Bonhams auction house for $14,000
But the signatures were fake?
Let's see the link to it, homeboy.
This dude singed that himself lol
MATTHEW SOTO
He singed it all right...burned it all to hell...
MATTHEW SOTO yea with his left hand 🤚
Stewart Sanders
With his left foot. 👞
[I want my Highlighted comment-status back]
mrfrankcastle083 you can all ways tell when RiCK is Lying 🤥 coz his lips move 🤥
MATTHEW SOTO
He "singed" it? How do you do that? Did he sing about the movie?
Lemme call my Steve McQueen signature on a red bullitt poster guy
Rick: (sigh) Let me offer you a let less.
Seller: Let me tell you to pound sand.
That "expert" hasn't been on the show in years. For claiming real signatures are fake
They are fakes tho, I checked them online, the guy is legit good, because the fakes are super slick
Mr browns signature is worth more than all of theirs
Shut up about Mr fucking Brownp
Truth
Famously
Wow what an original joke. Someone's IQ would have to be through the roof to come up with this one! Congrats man!
OMFG, you are so lame with this overused comment
How do you go 25 years without seeing your favorite movie?WTF
I feel like the experts go in and just give them a lower price than it’s actually worth
As a joke, whenever I would give a friend a book for a present, I used to fake sign the author, with a message about how the receiver of the book had inspired the author to write it and thanking him. I wonder now, if years from now, someone will walk into a pawn shop, saying, "This is so cool. This is the guy who inspired John Grisham to write this book."
Rick is the nicest guy. Most guys would throw liars/fakers out the door and/or call the police.
i think the matboard the frame itself looks stunning :)
Ford '68 Mustang was made an absolute God-damned icon due to this movie.
What a motor car. What a vehicle. It's pure motor oil bliss
During the making of the movie, during the care chase scenes, the Dodge Charger R/T with the 440 Magnum engine kept having to slow down so the Mustang could keep up.
Something's fishy here. This episode aired in 2011, in which the seller said he had paid $3500.00 for it at a children's charitable auction. The signatures were determined to be fake. But then I discovered the results of a 2007 auction of the same poster with the same signatures for 14.4K! Bonham's auction house. So what gives, @Pawn Stars?!
if it was real Rick would have offered him Chum lee's armpit hairs with a certificate of authenticity
M Wood
I doubt it, armpit hairs aren't really worth anything.
American Patriot r/wooosh
Someone probably would by that
'The Sand Pebbles' is another GREAT Steve McQueen film......if you ever get a chance to see it.
Wow !
If Mr Brown has signed it would have been worth more. . .
01artist
Im not so sure. I think you're just a silly goose.
*American Patriot* maybe, but I heard that Mr Brown and Steve McQueen got along famously though. . .
01artist
Mr. Brown got along famously with Deez Nuts.
*American Patriot* not sure if I would brag about that one too much. . .
5 $ poster in Amazon
Has anyone noticed that he ask for a price and if he is okay with it he doesn’t call an “expert” but if he’s not the he calls the “expert” and then he comes and gives him a lower price or a close price to what the seller said before 🧐🧐🧐
The autograph guy Drew Max died in Clark County jail last year. He was 59. RIP
What was he in for?
@@GrosvnerMcaffrey I looked into it. He apparently was in for a misdemeanor DUI charge. And the cause was arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease and chronic alcoholism
@@fordz3781 thanks
Corey has the weirdest handshake
I hate how he lifts his whole shoulder!! I am surprised the Old Man never taught him how to shake hands.
I always thinking that too lol like man I don't like the way he shakes hands
I always thought that, Super cool guy, weirdest handshake and oddest laugh
Sean bean has been an expert since national treasure
Art according to Rick: Monet < Rembrandt < Michelangelo < Da Vinci < This poster if it were real
Love Robert
Steve McQueen and Mr Brown got along famously
that thing is nice
I and mr. Brown get along famously
Oh, thats the "expert" who basically will authenticate anything if you give him enough money, "Yes that is an autograph of Jesus, looks like he used the rare 2000 year old Biro" and "Yup, that's right Rick, that's a genuine autograph of James T Kirk, obviously autographed in the mid 80s"
reddwarf115 Naw, it's the other "expert"
The one with the iPad
Please give us some examples of his lies. Waiting....crickets....
@EasyThere Pilgrim None of the major auction houses, SCP, Lelands, Heritage, etc. will accept any Drew Max authenticated item in their auctions in addition to him giving COAs to known fake autographed goods, thats why he got fired from PS
The guy says "the car" but both cars were awesome.
They should have called expert Steve to check on Steve
Customer: I literally have the first piece of clothing made by humans ever and I only want $4000.
Rick: I’ll give you 27 cents and a rotten tomato
Jacob C a s s e l l oh yeah yeah
This is why they only use Steve Grad now. He's a real expert. They've ditched 2 other authenticators in the past for being crap. The guy who said that Godfather script was signed by Al Pacino when it turned out to be the signature of the producer Al Ruddy
Rick must have called Steve to check on "Steve"
Mr. Brown and Steve McQueen got along famously
That guy paid $3900?! He got swindled big time!
The seller looks like an old version of a captain sparkles
Rick loves Steve mcqueen
The seller looks like the late great golfer seve ballesteros.
This was like one of the holy grails of fakes.
And the guy said he paid $3900 for it at a fundraising silent auction???
Andre Landry it's for children so yeah...it was more than a total loss.
They auctioned it off as being authentic??? that's why he paid the $3900 so he did get scammed from the auction site if he paid that, and how much of the money actually went to the "Children" This is what gives some of these charities a bad name by selling fraudulent articles
Andre Landry he lied bro... he prob signed it himself
Andre Landry So he says. Dude didn't seem upset at all at the fact he got burned by some auction site. He probably saw some episodes that show Rick is a McQueen fan and thought he try to cash in. You heard him say he's seen that his stuff has been sold from between $4 to $35Gs. So he was trying to Get anything he could.
If that was authentic, it would be awesome!
Expert:these can go for about 20million to 40million
Rick:ok thank you.....I’ll give you a thousand
RIP OLD MAN YOU WERE THE CATS MEOW
that’s why you never buy any signed stuff from a silent auction
He’s seeing if the signatures are real based memory ? Sounds like staged drama that already had a predetermined conclusion
It's almost as if it's a television show... 😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️
I use to work with robert vaughns son, family is from CT
I was ready to close the video, I thought Steve Grad would show up.
Highly collectable to whom I could care less just watching a program
seller looks like young Rick Dale
Rick and Steve sittin' in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g
Mr. McQueen and I got along famously
Rick I’m from the year 2020 you do end up buying one of his cars..... oooooooo
I think he’ll take it home !
"Let me giv my buddy a call "
All the signatures look like they were signed with the same hand. The flow is similar though them
Good thing they have it checked before they made an offer but the collector's poster will do even though the signatures we're fake.
Dr. fell grandle case good luck with your signature
Never buy a signed item without a letter of authenticity. Especially if you're forkin over $3900 for a poster.
Rick's favorite actor of all time, but hasn't seen the movie in 25 years?
Papillon
From a little goldmine to a landfill in a few minutes
Id say its real. Real poster - real autographs. , good lookin robert autograph. Didnt even look at the other 1s. Note how large he signed compared to usual - could have affected things
Guy selling it looks like don Johnston
Robert Vaughn misspelled his own name. I think that would be the first clue. No need to call in the "expert", who by they way, didn't even point that out.
Pay attention.... They only show highlights of the expert's visit. Drew being who he is, would have commented upon it.
If you look at examples online that is how he signed. Vaugh.
the seller knew it was a fake look at his eyes .when the expert said its fake he smiled
McQueen didn't do his car stunts Rick.A stunt man did.
that sucks!! I feel bad for him!
The appraisor is good, these signatures really are fakes but they look slick
I think Rick's knees wobbled a bit 😞
I'm sure Bissett and Duvall still alive have them say McQueen signed it.
This seller dude kinda looks like Saul from better call Saul
3:27 Jak And Dexter Theme Music?
The seller knew, you can tell he wasn't surprised.
Rick probably creamed his pants when this came in the shop..
McQueen's 68 Mustang GT sold at auction for 3.4 million. I'm wondering if Rick was the buyer.
Mr Brown , have you been forging signatures again ???
Can't he go after the silent auction he bought it from lol?
Rik harrison love mcqueen
