Not sure if you mentioned it but you shouldn't tighten the control arm bushing bolts completely until the vehicle is under its own weight unless you want to destroy the bushings prematurely
Great video! Made the install pretty straight forward. This kit, along with some 31" A/T tires totally transformed the look of my Big Bend Bronco Sport!
Thanks for your work on this video and documenting the process. I do have some concerns about the rear lift spacers: 1. The lift spacers only have a washer on the end, where it comes in contact with the stock spacer. The other end of the lift spacer is just the ring of the spacer that mates directly with the metal surface of the unibody "frame". Anyone else have a concern that this metal to metal contact will allow the spacer to slip against the "frame" on a rough driving surface and throw out the rear wheel alignment ? Wouldn't this be better with a second washer on the other end of the lift spacer as well, plus some rubberizing of that surface for a less slippery contact with the "frame"? 2. The washerless ring-edge of that spacer is under a lot of pressure. Anyone else concerned that this "ring" might sink into the unibody "frame" over time, possibly creating a permanent "pit" in the "frame"? 3. If a "pit" does occur in the "frame"while the wheel alignment is out, might that "pit" interfere with future rear-wheel alignment? Don't mind the "quotation marks", I only used them because I couldn't come up with better terms than "pit" and "frame" (I know that technically there is no frame). Anyone have any thoughts on these concerns, or have any other concerns, or have good things to say about these spacers after some experience with them, or know if there are there better spacers available that solve these issues if they are issues?
@@ABXPONCE I 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands order was cancelled so I wasn't able to get one. Wound up getting a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite instead since it was available. Turns out it's probably the better vehicle for me for what I do with it - I didn't realize the importance of 4-low and a good bash-plate system for those times when I head up a trail that started with the thought: 'I wonder if I can get up there..." I am still researching my options for lifting the Cherokee though.
Great video. My concern is with the lower spring perch on the rear. Why not make it tighter fitting and pinned to the control arm like the OEM one? I would think it would want to slide around and make noise.
I know your a busy guy, was wondering since the bronco sport is basically the same chassis as the 2022 maverick would this kit work on the maverick? Willing to use my new 2022 Maverick as a test vehicle and check, also can send videos for you to post. If it works alot of guys from Maverick forums would buy this lift! Let me know, thanks.
Why hasn't a company come out with a proper lift kit yet and also for the maverick? And before anyone says there isn't a market or not real offroad vehicles . There is always an opportunity to sell a quality lift for fun vehicles.
Hey I have a question…Is this installation different for the base model? I am looking at a rough country kit and it seems that theirs doesn’t have the drop down spacers? Is that something that is only required on the badlands and 1st edition models?
My kit will not void Ford motor company standard warranty. It’s usually up to the dealership you go to if they want to cover it or not depending on what it is.

Fun project! I hope the Maverick is a similar process. What size tires did you end up putting on?
When adding the strut spacers in the front only will you need alignment.
Anytime you lift a vehicle, even if just the front, you need to take it to a shop to get an alignment afterwards.

YMMV but talking to the dealership I bought mine from they seem to think it's fine depending on what leveling kit you get.
