There tunes are amazing, I got 1/2 second quicker 0-60 and almost the same 1/4 mile. My Jeep now gets 32mpg fwy instead of 26mpg!!! Sam, Blake and the tuner team made a tune worth its price!!! As I add higher octane and mods it goes even faster!!!

This is awesome. How does something like this affect the engine and overall health of this car long term? Are these tunes meant for daily drivers for the long haul, or performance gains just for kicks? (yeah noob here)
We tune well within OEM thresholds so you won't see any long term decline in engine health! These tunes can improve throttle response and even in some cases fuel economy just slightly!

Yea they put the Focus ECU in the same spot . Be careful how much power you make these 2.0s had issues with headgasket problems in the past. Great gains have to sneak my wife's out and get it flashed.

I’m in St George, UT. I’ll be driving my Ford Maverick to you guys when I get it. Would you be able to tune it and do a 1-2” lift? Since it’ll have a similar platform and the 2.0l?
We can definitely play with the tune. We dont do general installs so wont be able to do a lift spacer though.
Nice, but heeelp!!! Does anyone know if i can just remove that ecu and put it in another location so i can change my bumper??? basically to improve the entry angle to be able to do more off road.
amazing improvement...i recently bought a brand new Bronco Sport..do you think this ECU placement is correct for a semi off road vehicle? Why so low and in front of the wheel? Don´t you think this electronic device could be more safe in a higher place (inside a fuse box for example) Why Ford put it down there?
Manufactures gunna manufacture, that's why cars are next to impossible to easily work on now

Sweet! Question though... Why do you have to take the ECU out to do the tune? Aren't there any plug-in tuners that would do the job? Would hate to be out of my vehicle for a few weeks while I send the ECU away.
At this time none of the industry leading "end user" OBDII devices have a protocol available to support this ECU software version.

Don’t be heavy on the throttle which is fun and your mpg is the same
Add in some methanol and e30 fuel and push that power some more! I’m not sure how strong the awd system is though, we’ll need a test subject

If i buy the tune, will the dealership notice?
What happens when you have to take the Branco to the dealer for service or something else. Does the dealer see the tune and can they remove it?
with the VR tuning box you can unplug it and it will be stock again and the dealer will not know!
What’s the 0-60?
My only question is whether the transmission can handle the extra power over time considering that the Focus ST has a 6-speed manual.

Agreed. I have a Big Ben second level. Gets 27 mpg all day long doing 80-90 mph!! When I want more zip I'll put it in sport mode. With the price of regular over 4 bucks per gallon, Thankyou Biden!! I'll leave it be! FYI magna flow makes a nice exhaust for both engines.
No mention if the tune needs premium fuel or if it can be used on regular?
I really want the bronco sport. It's a rugged little suv. I just can't convince the wife that it is big enough for our family of four with two small dogs.
Definitely stuff for consideration there, but I will say the Bronco Sport has some pretty good room in the cabin and behind the seats!
I purchased the sport Badlands model, it's not big enough, wait for the larger Bronco. My wife loves it, but for me, it's too small.

Need to do a video on moving the ECU somewhere under the hood or something else so it doesn't get water in it. Ford didn't think about it and they say the bronco sport can go into water 23inches, the ECU is 18-19 inches max.

How did you install the lightbar?
We used Daystar brackets that connect to the factory roof rack!
Man, there needs to be an ECU relocation kit for those who want to swap out the front bumper for a steel modular beam. Also, curious how a Full Race VFR turbo kit would far on this baby. Thanks for showcasing - looking forward to future mods.

I thought the bronco was going to come with the 2.3 like the mustang & focus rs
The big bronco is going to come with the 2.3 L but the Bronco Sport has the 2.0L like the Focus ST
Hard to say unless you have 0 to 60 stock baseline and then after ecu flash modded 0 to 60 mph tests to see if its worth it.
If 0-60 is your sole priority possibly but the tune has a lot more value in how it changes the drivability of the car and the improved throttle response with the increased power!

Yes stock is 250hp and 275 ft-lbs crank, tuned is 305hp and 350ft-lbs.
I purchased the bronco badlands, for my wife, I would purchase the tune for 300, but 600 is far too much. I purchased a tune for my f-150 coyote for $325 from another company, it was worth the money but I would not have paid 600 for it.

Spacer lift at the moment!
How do you remove the ECU
The ECU is located in the driver side front fender well in front of the tire. The easiest way is to turn the steering all the way to the left so you can gain room, then just remove the front area of the fender liner by pulling the plastic fasteners out, then push the fender liner back and out of the way.
It will require an 8 and 10mm sock to remove the plastic over from the ECU then it can be disconnected and removed. Remember, it is always suggested to disconnect the battery prior to removing an ECU.
That ECU location looks suspect for water damage lol

We didnt get a chance to do that. We figured with the Bronco Sport, getting more HP and TQ was good to show but most owners really would not be measuring the times.
@@vivid_racing bummer, the 0-60 times gives us a better guage of performance for the average consumer. Hp and tq's almost irrelevant for us.

The 2.0L engine is supposed to be putting out 245HP stock. The numbers you're talking about would be expected for the 1.5L. What's going on there?
The 2.0L engine does output 245hp stock. With an AWD setup, you see pretty significant drivetrain loss, which is why the wheel horsepower rating is much lower than the crank horsepower rating.
