Dear Joltout, get ready for a big message I assume that as a AGR (Anti-Gravity-Racer) enthusiast have played F-zero or Wipeout. Now for as long as I could remember after nintendo let F-zero to dust the only thing left to play was Wipeout wich sadly got discontinued by Sony. In my need and search for something new I firstly discovered your channel back in 2016 were you had uploaded some of these videos about redout. Sadly it was for PC and didn't have the proper system to run it. But about 1 year later I did and installed it right away! I want to thank you for your videos and sharing your experience with us. And mostly I'd like to thank you cause without your videos I might wouldn't have ever known this game was out there :)
I don’t have the game yet, been working my ass off for a new computer and for the game. Game looks amazing and you are really good at the game. Thank you for your videos, they make me work harder every day.
One of the coolest things Redout does is what you actually see here... most folks may not realize what is really going on racing this track, for some folks is just some randon craziness of videogame, that the place itself is just there for pleasing the eyes of those looking at, but in fact this is pretty close depiction of Jupiter's moon Europa, an ocean under the ice, and space above, and as soon as you let the icy crust, you are in space. This adds a LOT the immersion of the game, at the same time leave room for some incredible story waiting to be told...
I mean, they are! It's all about figuring out and practicing how to approach them, truth be told. The first hairpin in the Europa boss is arguably the easiest of the hairpin turns in the entire game in my personal opinion. I can nail it every time, even without Magnetic Stabilizers. Again, it's all in practicing your approach and exit. Strafing is MAGNIFICENT key to a smooth hairpin in Redout. xD
Seeing your videos using the MS for these boss runs made me whip out the MS+Turbo setup for various crafts... there's nice feeling in carving across corners w/ minimal loss of speed that other setups just don't have. So.......... will you ever do a drift showcase w/ KWerth crafts and their weirdo canoe-boat drifty wobbly physics? ;-)
Do you have a tutorial video on how to properly steer and not hit every wall? I've done over 100 laps of the first track and I'm no better than when I started :(
I don't, sorry. But wall bouncing is a legitimate technique for high end time trialing and stuff. It might be worth your time joining the discord server for help if need be.
For a turn, left turn example. Literally, (zeroth, slow down until lower then the maximum speed of that turn.) first you "slightly turn left" and "strafe right" together that, you are in a situation of front moving while the vessel's nose isn't pointing the straight front. Second during the exact turning moment you "turn left" plus "strafe left" for maximum left rotation because the vessel's nose has already tend to the left side so it will do a sharper turn than simply turn left. With the "outside, apex point, outside" racing theory than you can master Redout's track.
It's not a version or anything special. The boss maps just start off with the last track of the area you raced. So based off of what track you're describing, the last track you raced on for this area was Spinning Pipe, while mine was Surface Sprint. All you have to do to change this, is race on a different track in the area, then the boss track will start there next time.
@@Joltout Spinning Pipes is my worst nightmare of all time the pipe physics tho…..they scare me sometimes Another thing is this Exclusive For Pc only? Is the Feature Available for PlayStation and Xbox?
If you're looking for some casual fun, literally any ship lol. Else, if you're trying for those time trial world records, depending on the track, Sulha or Koeniggswerthare the usual world record holding ships out there
I would not even call this a 'racer'. It's more like the player is racing against themselves. Where is the competition? It's more like you are racing against the clock, rather than against other racers.

Thanks for the kind words! Glad I could help :D
incredible. I can't go a whole minute without getting blown up on most of the Europa tracks.
Pure skills. Amazing

Oh wow, thank you so much :D
Outstanding! It's a pleasure watch you playing
Great video like always

WOW! That was pretty sick!
only those who played a lot on that map can understand how masterfull this run is
Like a boss.
BADASS Driving!
Can't wait to get the Switch version
Off the hook
Damn.... You were going so fast that level that you broke Mach 2. o_o
Make those hairpin turns look too easy...

A drift showcase? I'm not entirely sure how to do that xD
This music is sick
This tab dropped hard.
4:06 ahaha lmao so thats how you clear that! i died here everytime
4:15
***Fina Lap***
seconds later
*breathe*
How the hell are you doing the section at 1:03 without slowing down!? That little segment wrecks me 9 times out of 10! What's your secret?
Strafing and control~
@@Joltout With mS as well
Joltout, I have this game on my Nintendo Switch.
When you slow down for curves, do you do it by using the brake or letting up on the accelerator?
I don't slow down, I strafe

how did you get this version? my boss track always starts with the large tube right off the bat.

I know this is kinda late, but what is the best ship to play on this game?

How you upscale video? A.i.gigapixel?
I render it at a higher resolution. It's not recorded at 1440p tho so it's just to combat youtubes annoying bit rate problem
Dude... there's no way you're not breaking at 1:55 to 1:57. You go from 1100 to 500, no strafing nor drifting manouver can do that... can it?
I did brake there, yea
