Itchy I could have taken a camping chair and a lunch box and sat on that beach all day long, what an outstanding place to get parked and just rest in such landscape and let the mind unwind!!
My great aunt used to live in Fairport, and now she lives in Perry. I always like going to the lake when we go to visit. As a kid growing up in so cal. it amazed me that a lake could be as large as an ocean.
Brings back memories Mark I grew up in Mentor Headlands in the late 60s and 70s and took a 12 foot cartopper down to Fairport harbor and went rite next to The Edmund Fitzgerald when it was in Port. Also remember all the houses falling into the lake due to erosion. Moved to AZ late 70s and have never been back. I do miss Lake Erie. Lot of good memories. Ride safe brother.
It is nice to find different things to do that does not require anything special other than just relaxing and enjoying the moment. Prayers and Abundant Blessings to you and yours.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✝🛐❤
Thanks Itchy for the nice walk along, the lake looked very pretty. When you mentioned Archaeologists it made me think about the spot about 15 miles from me. It is by Blanchard Dam on the Mississippi. It is one of the very few places in the world to find Cross Rocks. The Mississippi Headwaters is only about 130 miles north of me in Itasca State Park. We road through there this fall. It was a very pretty and winding road. The Mississippi isn't much were it starts. It flows out of Lake Itasca and is only about 20-30 feet wide. I did say I was in the north land.
Mark, So you've got them too. Those Round-a-bouts, cursed Rotarys as we refer to them here in Massachusetts. When I come up on them, I assume anyone else within proximity does Not know how to navigate in the circle by yielding, especially when on my Indian. Ma drivers are notorious for rude driving. As for Motorcycle ride routes, there's several websites that offer 'The best rides' in every geographical area or state, some free, some pay per use. I'm not in favor of paying since there are the free ones. The lake, nice spot for meditation calming the mind. Seems very clean & well maintained. These breakwaters we have too, in Beverly, Rockport, Hampton, etc, etc, I used too hop around on only a few months ago. Well now I have to go real easy so as not to need a call for a rescue. For these short ventures like that, I Never leave the cellphone in the car or back at home. Always on my phone belt clip/bag. never know when needed. Thanks as always.
I'm all by myself now, my kids came in for my wife's thing. Helped me out with somethings.. My daughter is worried about me being here in WV by myself and wants me to move up there near her.
I really think you should snag yourself a 650 KLR or DR, maybe a 411 Himalayan / Scram, no fibreglass / plastic, something simple and toughty that gets the job done without rider modes etc.. ..maybe look out for an ex military Harley Davidson MT350 / Armstrong 500.
I follow a vlog an adventurer a gentleman that rides extensively all over the world has visited many countries and from my part of the world, love his channel and for every adventure I follow along, his photography that he capture’s with his drone is captivating he rides a Road King that bike has been put through it’s paces so many times on all surfaces that he carries his own shovel to dig himself out 🤦🏻♀😂, a lady rider that does similar vlogs she has an adventure bike the “right” bike ☺. The water being near it is always a balm for the soul ❤🩹. That’s a lovely area, it’s like being on a tour on your channel as well, thank you. 🙏🏻

I’ve been to the Rock’n Roll Hall of Fame. Kind of a one time deal for me. It was cool to walk around and look at the stuff.
Nice place to take a stroll,if it was hot enough you could take a swim. Thanks
The water is calming.

Enjoyed that Mark. I went there when I was a child, don't remember it much back in the 60's. Hope you are feeling better.
Very Cool Vid, Mark.. Enjoyed it.. Looks a little like the South China Sea...
Few years ago I went to a machine shop there in Cleveland and seen the waves crashing the Lakeshore by the expressway by the stadium
Lot of interesting and beautiful things things in this world. Just need to know where to look.
Great vlog
Cool! Winter is just about upon us.
RHDF!!!

Love the sound of the waves
Cool vid. The KLR (Kawasaki) is a good bike. Lotsa bang for the bucks and cheaper than a Yamaha Tenere.
I do remember seeing the Edmund in port when she left on that faithful day

If you are happy where you are at ,stay there. Don't move just to keep some one else happy.
For a hobby, use your extra leather scraps to make a new leather seat for your dirt bike
❤️✌🏻

Did you find any agate’s
Possibly. I wasn’t collecting but saw many tumbled stones, shells and glass.
