The Croc show was NOT free, and it was sold out. In fact, there were quite a few notable people at that show, Jimbo Barton was there, Pamela Moore was there, Sean Kinney was there. It was a sold out show a few days before Tate barely managed to sell the floor of The Moore Theater.
The first one was technically one of the Rising West shows at The Hard Rock Cafe in Seattle Washington, on June 9, 2012. The second was the Snoqualmie Casino, outside of Seattle Washington, October 27, 2012, and third was the CD Release show at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle Washington on June 26, 2013.
So let me get this right, the keyboardist is pretty obviously faking "playing" the intro. It is just a sequencer or something running through the keyboard. I think I am more offended by that then the fact that it went on way too long.

For me to enjoy Geoff's lineup, he needs to do 3 things: 1. Get rid of Oven Mitts. He's a liability to the band and if you guys are going to make the argument that Michael Wilton is only good for QR, then what does that make this chump who can't even play the leads correctly? 2. Find some people who can do backing vox on tour. I have yet to see a single show either on YT or the live in TX I saw earlier this year where the backing vocals were any good. 3. Tate needs a GOOD songwriter, stat.

I was at a Tate show and it was far from being sold out and then the people that were there started leaving by the fifth song asking for refunds . So where ever you are getting your info from is inaccurate . I wanted to be fair so I went to one of his shows and it was awful and not only Tate sucked but his many musicians looked and preformed like monkeys on stage. Missing notes, singing the wrong words it was the worse concert I have ever been to .
The rest of the band had to put up with Geoff Tate's despotic "my way or the highway" attitude for years. Good riddance I say. Queensryche is only on their way up, while Geoff Tate is only tarnishing Queensryche's legacy more and more every day. I'm so glad they don't have to deal with his bullshit and his outside writers, and his Cabaret garbage, and his poor melodramatic acting skills, and his wife who takes more than her share of the income. The Tates are about greed.
