  • It is very easy to modify you watch to look much cooler and upgrade the overall quality of the watch. In this video I show you how to with a few easy steps to change the bezel insert on your divewatch.
The watch featured in this video is the Glycine Combat Sub. The watch comes with a black aluminium bezel insert but I change it to a much better fully lumed ceramic bezel insert.

You made that look so easy, not sure i trust myself to do it as I tend to f things up on a massive level. But maybe I’ll try this sometime when I’m drunk and full of confidence, lol.

To remove the bezel insert use a small butane touch or blow dryer, basically just heating up the glue always use a plastic bag or tape to avoid scratching the watch. Ive done this many times

Your watch now looks 10x better and more expensive. Great job!

Thank you. I think so too. I’m wearing it right now and it looks so much better with the ceramic insert.

Some good advice Anders, I might pick up a broken dive watch or two to give this a try to practice disassembly before I consider changing a bezel from a dive watch in my collection. I guess the difficult part could be alignment if the pip is part of the bezel insert where it might be worth putting the 'empty' bezel on the watch prior to applying the ceramic insert so that everything lines up. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting to watch. I'm far too lazy to change the look of my watches in this way. It's eaasier just to buy a new watch.

Great video, but if the bezel is lumed it would be great to see a lume shot 🧐😁
