Three weeks before the opening of Enter the Dragon, the film that brought him international fame, Bruce fell into a mysterious coma and died. He was 32. Over 25,000 people attended his funeral in Hong Kong, but I buried him back home in America to be close to us. All these years later, people still wonder about the way he died. I prefer to remember the way he lived. - Linda Lee
I’m 27 and i played on this game about 20 years ago, it popped to my mind and i wondered if it would be on u tube, brings back so many memories thank god for u tube lol
I was born in 1988. In the early 90s my dad had the Bruce Lee movies on VHS, he taught Shotokan Karate himself. I watched them alot and had 2 large Bruce Lee posters on my wall growing up. My dad bought me the Megadrive and also this game. I must have ran through it over 100 times, maybe more. I always planned to visit his grave in Seattle some day. I will for sure.
@Odrox No, I mean the audio in the video is fucked up. I've played this game on the Megadrive enough to know what it should sound like. Hell, I've got the chiptune OST. Listen to it with headphones.
Thanks for help on the stomp move. Another question- Once your form bar is 100 percent, how do you get the nunchucks out, fast punches/kicks and the fast diagonal kick? I'm stuck on the phantom. thanks again.
This was the last game I ever got purchased for me on mega drive. Was a birthday present since I was going through a Bruce Lee and martial arts phase, kinda decent game but difficult so never finished it. Would sell off the Mega Drive, Master System and games within a year to buy a Playstation. Wouldn't buy a SEGA console again until the short lived Dreamcast.
FUN FACT: In multiplayer cooperative or versus mode, players have the option to fight as two other characters besides the Chinese actor Bruce Lee like: Taiwanese actor Bruce Li (1972) and Korean actor Dragon Lee (1973), isn't that cool or what!
reminds me of jackie chan's movies- how he always gets into trouble even though he's not really doing anything. "Hey what's that noise?" "I'm breathing..." "GET HIM!" - Pablo
Jesus, whats wrong with the sound?! Sounds like you or the original recorder messed up the audio encoding because I can only hear one sound channel properly.
I own the SNES version, and it is just as difficult, though I am an expert in the game. Nice to see the differences in its rival. Cheats: ♾ Chi: On main screen, highlight Game, Start, C, A, B, Start. Blood: On Options, highlight Speed, C, ➡️, A, B, Start. For Paul... difficulty: On Options, highlight Difficulty, B, A, ⬅️,⬅️, Start. Plays like Arcade, but even harder. Make opponent still: On Options, highlight Movies, A, B, A, C, A, B (last button once or twice).
How do you kill the final boss? I don't know the button combination and I've tried everything I can think of. I can get the weapon out but I don't know how you do that neck grab attack to kill the guy.
I must admit I was expecting this game to be total crap but I'm glad to say it isn't bad at all, in fact I was amazed by Bruce's animation and the stages look nice enough, kind of remind me some Neo Geo fighting games. The bonus rounds, the ability to get the nunchucks and changing stages in the middle of a fight were enough to keep my interest. I didn't like the movie at all, being a somewhat Bruce Lee fan since I was a child but this game I can dig. :)
I do not understand why in the world they had to add two twin women in the game which were not in the movie. I guess they had to make additional fighting for the legendary martial arts master Bruce lee. This is an interesting game to play. I wanted to get my hands on it on the SNES but did not get the chance to play it. As always great game play cubex55. Can not wait to see more of your videos.
They should have made this game a top-down action Role-Playing Game that is a three player. There are games that already looks like this, like 1985 there is one called Yie Ar Kung Fu (One Two Kung Fu) by Konami, another in 1992 called Mortal Kombat by Midway, three games by Shin Nihon Kikaku Playmore called World Heroes, Three Count Bout and Garou Densetsu 3, two in 1993 called Super Street Fighter II by Capcom and Virtua Fighter Remix by Sega and one in 1994 called TEKKEN by Namco.
This game always gets shit on. Personally I loved it ever since I first played it. It was different than StreetFighter, MK, Fatal Fury or Samurai Showdown. The fighting was based in realism......kinda.

A fantastic tribute to Bruce lee
Dude, respect. This is how it was done. Good job.
The sound is completed screwed up. Sounds like it wasn't encoded properly from stereo.

I'm stuck on the phantom.

It sounds pretty good for being from this system.
Wow, Those Nunchucks are broken.

Thanks for posting the gameplay alone without those stupid commentary that everyone is doing nowadays.

His pants are black in the SNES version.
Jesus, whats wrong with the sound?! Sounds like you or the original recorder messed up the audio encoding because I can only hear one sound channel properly.
'Yes excuse Bruce Lee prepared the fight '

@@MrTERRY002 MODE + Y
Seems pretty hardcore. The music was nice and the animation was really good. Although I hate "Congratulations" endings, this seems very enjoyable. =)
It's even better in the SNES.
What to use nunchaku?

Are you talking about the "crystals"? Those are remaining lives.
Free tip: if Bruce Lee wants to dance with your girlfriend, just smile and say yes.

Kyle Pittman for a fighting game, it was boring
Not repetitive then?
@cubex55 I could never get. Like the fighter mode
nice! but how do u perform that stomp that kills them off?
After you jump press kick twice with the down button pressed.
When the opponent falls, jump over and press Down.
