- The purchase of Shaldag MK. V from Israel Shipyards included a Technology Transfer or License Build clause wherein the Philippine Navy shall be allowed by Israel Shipyards to license-build the Shaldag MK. V on its own, or share the design with the Philippine Navy.

Israel-made weapon systems is really the best for the Philippines. It is sturdy, easy to use and maintain, cost-effective, and above all, reliable.
Compared to other military channels, I find this one with the most reliable source of information. Salute to the owner.

@@jefrox6899 even most of us joined by the heart if the survivability of the PH soldiers are low many of us will questioned if joining the military is good. If we have all these assets or equipments like more advanced units, better equipment and high powered weapons there'll more likely to join the military. Did you know that even South Korea one of the top military in the world is promoting more citizen to join the military. Even all male's have trained to become combat ready if war broke out, but most of them doesn't have interest in joining the military causing SK to have low experienced soldiers.
My point is even if the heart is second if you have the interest joining the military because you want to fly a fighter jet like the F-16 and got the taste of it you'll likely learn to love your job and your country.

These boats are perfect for use in the Philippines. Fast with enough firepower. The best part of the deal is the transfer of technology. We could build the boats ourselves and buy the armaments and electronics from Israel.

the MPACs can be used in patrolling the WPS if it is carried by one of the tarlac LPDs . i think 2 MPACs can fit in the LPDs well decks . MPACs can use the LPDs as a mother ship in the open ocean . and stay there for days .

Let's go Philippines! ... This is the start of a new beginning. After the Cavite Naval shipyard's upgrade and construction of many units of Shaldag Mark 5, I hope in the near future Israel or other countries can also license and allow our Philippine Navy to construct locally Frigates and Destroyers.
I think AFP and DND and PN, should consider the Saar' s -72 multi-role warships as a LCS for our fleet, at least a 24/48 units of this class and integrate haevy artillery and weapon systems, like a 76mm. Oto Me Lara, as main gun, an 35mm. Twin barrel Boffors rapid gun as secondary gun, a 40mm. Typhoon rapid stabilized gun as fire support at least a 6/8 units around the warships at least 6 units of 8 barrel Gatling guns, as added fire power installed in the upper deck. And at least A Sea breaker guided missiles and a Brahmos NG for anti-ship guided missiles, and a Mistral 3 and the Brahmos 2 hypersonic guided missiles for anti-surface to air defense, and at least a VLS 16 tubes launchers for Brahmos and Akash super sonic guided missiles, and at least a CIWS system for the warships last line of defense, at least 2 units in the front and rear end of the ship. Andhopefully a tech. transfer so we can build it too here like the Shaldag class.

Getting the tech transfer to build them is a total win. Yes, it's just a patrol craft but everything starts small. Soon we can build bigger ships, and better if we can develop weapons systems.
To those pessimists there who say we can't do it or it's impossible, it's this kind of mentality that leaves our country backwards in development. We should be changing this for our own good.

Philippine Navy lacks large Fast Attack Craft with Anti-ship missile capability for external threats.
Small Fast Attack Craft - MPAC Mk3 armed with Spike-ER 8 km operational range (Check)
Medium Fast Attack Craft - Shaldag V armed with Spike-NLOS 25 km operational range (Check)
Large Fast Attack Craft - PKX-A or Yoon Youngha-class armed with LIGNex1 SSM-700K C-Star 180 km operational range (Should be highly considered)

In my opinion it would be very practical for our navy to acquire at least 500 to 1000 units of these Israeli made patrol boat the Shaldag MK V, all armed with necessary missiles, and if possible armed it with anti-air or surface to air missiles or cwis machine guns and torpedoes. On these interdiction missile patrol boats can guard, patrol and protect our vast territorial seas and EEZ, other countries that would violate our soverienty in territorial waters would think twice before they tried to bully us.One of best factor in operation of these vessels was it were easy to maintain, cost effective and its reliability ang practicality in our litoral defense, it is enough to navigate the four corners of archepelagic philippine islands. These boats can be a good and best tandem of OPVs and coast guard ships!
