Good Pm Sir, sana ang adm ni Pangulong PBBM maglaan nang budget para sa Iron Steel manucfactories baka mag short tayo nang iron steel plate para makagawa tayo nang malalaking Navy Ships, Salamat & God bless .
The creeping expansion of China has reached the Philippines. China has expanded its territories from Hainan to the Paracels in 1946, to Fiery Cross reef , Subi reef, Johnson reef, Sandy Cay, to Mischief reef and built military artificial islands. China also claims the Scarborough shoal, the Ayungin shoal, and all the waters west of the Philippines. Its illegal ten-dash line (ruled without legal basis by the UNCLOS Arbitration Court,) encompasses a huge part of the Philippines' EEZ. China defying UNCLOS international rule based order. The Philippines with like-minded allies must build ships for a strong defense capability to deter//counter China's aggression.
Plano at itatag na po ang paggawa sa mga barkong pandigmaan. Siyempre umpisa sa maliit palaki ng palaki at pamoderno ng pamoderno. Ipagpatuloy po at huwag lang manatiling plano.
This makes no sense whatsoever, if they wanted to make ships locally and 4 of the 8 contractors bidding allowed technology transfer then why would they remove that stipulation just to award the OPV contract to HHI? Sounds like they wanted hhi the entire time and just changed the contract where they would accept. Also of coarse HHIs bid would be lower because as this video itself stated it costs a lot more for technology transfer!! Plus Damien, Naval, Group, Austal and a fourth all agreed to not only xfer technology but build 4 of the 6 OPVs in the Philippines? That’s huge, normally ur lucky to get 2 or even 3 but they offered 2/3rds built locally. This makes zero sense
Armed those warships with BRAHMOS SUPERSONIC CRUISE MISSILES...... INDIA can help with Brahmos, VLSRSAM/MRSAM Air defence missile, Varunastra Torpedoes and many more systems with low cost.
Long over due! we can but the systems and weapons, but the hull it self can be built here! it wont just create jobs for Filipinos it will also saves the government a lot of money! a state owned company must be created!
Not sure really, but i don't think our government or our navy for that matter, is planning to create a state owned company (like PT PAL of indonesia) to oversee/undertake naval shipbuilding projects in the philippines coz that would require a big investment, running into millions of dollars. I can only speculate that our navy is trying to force it's international defence contractors into agreeing with it's terms, meaning if they want to get a contract of supplying ships for the navy, then they have to build them here. If that will create lots of jobs here then that would be great for our economy. We'll see what happens.
1st order by PH navy us a custom made humongous, ramming vessel, twice bigger than the ching coast guards ships. so that they will think twice of blockading or ramming it. make it also w at least 4 bigger water cannon to flood theirs!
Yep, the politicians in the philippines are all bark with no bite. Always talking about we need to protest against china and blah blah blah, but china dont give a flying fuck on what a weak nation thinks about it. A bunch of politicians dont really give a fuck about this country, only their money.

Pag gusto my paraan pag Hindi my dahilan....
Philippines should have done that decades ago. It maybe too late. It takes years or even decades to launch new ships
They need to learn to Navigate the ones they got and keep them off the reefs!
Dapat lang na tayo ang gumawa ng sarile nating Warship....ang dami nating Naval Archetic , Marine Engr. Master Mariner, Wilders...

Would an old oil tanker do the job?
It's surprising that the Filipinos got the dream bug from India.
Talk a lot but do very little.
