Great news for the Philippines 🇵🇭 navy.
Thank you Australian government ❤❤❤
Aust is updating the navy to the tune of $52B and is rich enough to DONATE IT TO the Philippines
They cant be sold with the Cefar radar or weapon systems or the electronic warfare systems due to secrets outside of AUKUS countries. So whomever buys them if they, for sale, will be just buying a gutted ship with no radar system. Australia government won't donate them. The Philippines will have to buy them gutted and put there own systems on it.
Cefar radar cannot be given outside of Australia. The Philippines would have to put something like New Zealand has
As long as they are still in good condition I'd think they'd be great for regional defence around the Philippine archipelago. Also a great training opportunity for more modern ships later on.
It is a frigate, not a patrol ship. Get your facts straight. FFH means helicopter-carrying frigate.
It's not yet final between the Australian and Philippine government...and it's not a destroyer... it's a frigate 👍
No country should keep their hopes up. I been told Australia is scraping them. And theres several system on the Anzac class that couldn't be sold with the ship if was sold due to technology secrets. Including the Cefar radar and combat systems or the electronic warfare systems that cant be sold with the ship except within AUKUS countries. So the ship would need new system and radar whomever buys them
Fast Patrol Ship? It's a Friget
seen the HMAS Toowoomba FFH156 (sister ship of HMAS Anzac) during their visit in Diego Garcia (sometime in 2020) and I can say these ships are an awe to behold. hope they would sell those ships in its original configuration to PH Navy even though they are second hand
we hope Australia can donate and transfer there warship in the philippines🤔👍👍👍
2 units r better accompany each other
That's good, with the Rizal class and the arival of the 2 units of class Corvettes, and 6 units of OPV's, and 2 more units of SSV's, it will gve us the edge we need, hopefully more units shall be acquired in Re Horizon -3 AFP modernization program. I think a mixed combo of Frigates , Destroyers and Corvette class, plus a 2 units of OPV's' and at least 6 units of FAIC's missile gunboats. To create and established a fleet of mixed force of warships that can provide support to our SSV's and future Heli Carriers that the Phil. Navy is planning to acquire someday but in the very nearest future....
Philippine navy pls bilhin niyo na itong 2 Australian destroyer
Theyare not destroyers. They are frigates
beggars cant be choosers
Problema nyan seguradong tastas ang lahat ng armas nyan at hull lang ang matitira.
That is correct. The radar won't be sold with it either due to secrets. So if the Philippines purchases it it be just the ship hull. All wepons, including the MK41 VLS cell, would be taken out. The radar and wepons systems also. They would have to get their own system and wepons for the ship.
If donated it will be, but if bought, they can't take it out coz your buying it in full package deal...
