@Traylormade_Chief clearly you know nothing about the way basketball was played in the 80s and clearly you know nothing about the Chicago Bulls and the team that they had when Michael Jordan was drafted, the Chicago Bulls had absolutely nothing as far as a team goes, Michael Jordan was a single player and the only thing that they had on that team and you're going up in an Eastern Conference when you had the Boston Celtics at the height of their power, with future Hall of Famers Larry bird, Kevin mchale, Robert Parish and Danny Ainge, and you had the Detroit Pistons who had one of the best defensive teams in the history of the NBA, and both of those squads were absolutely loaded, naturally one person is not going to be able to beat a complete team by himself, if you're going to ask that then why ask why Allen Iverson couldn't beat the Los Angeles Lakers by himself, why couldn't LeBron James defeat the Boston Celtics when he was in Cleveland without having to run down to Miami? The plane is simple fact is no matter how great a single player is they're never going to be a great team, of course Chicago got better when they got pieces around Michael Jordan, like Scottie Pippen who was drafted by the Bulls, that's why people respect Jordan so much is that he took his losses, and he took the physical beatings that the Detroit Pistons put on him and he never complained and ran to another team to learn how to win a championship.. you never saw Michael Jordan calling the Boston Celtics and asking Larry Bird if he could come join them to create a super team, as much as we like to make basketball look like it's an individual sport every great superstar has to have help because basketball is a complete team sport
Scottie Pippen lost all credibility the moment he claimed a few years ago that Phil Jackson was racist for picking Toni Kukoc to take the clutch shot in Game 3 of the 1994 ECSF against the Knicks.
@TekkLuthor Under your logic, Jackson would've picked Kukoc over Jordan in any game. Prior to that year's playoffs, Toni already proved that he was a clutch shooter.

I think this No Bull Tour will be just a platform for Pip and Horace to air some their own unhappiness and more likely than not, Luc is gonna come out and said things like, well, that is what it took us to win, there is always good and bad and all that so the tone is not just bitching MJ.
Some, if not the very first words of the Last dance (or possibly the second episode) are “you can’t speak Michael Jordan without speaking Scottie Pippen.” Scottie was upset that they brought up his lack of business savvy (the 7 year deal) and his lack of mental toughness (being pouty when they called on Kukoc for that last shot. Those are factual events. But everybody gave him the most respect. They literally said he was the second best player in the league for those 93-98 years
He lost me when he said Phil didn't give him the last shot because he was racist 🙄 If you watch the press conference of the 97 NBA finals the last game after the Bulls won listen to what MJ says about Pippen. He gives him so much praise a props. That's why I'm like where is this coming from if you hanging around him and did the documentary if you don't like him so much.
The documentary was supposed to be about The Bulls, NOT Michael Jordan. Pippen did the doc, but he didn't edit it. MJ had the final say on its release. I'm sure he saw how they were portrayed, but left it in the final cut. But, yes, what Pippen said about Phil was crazy.

They kill me with this label "RING CULTURE." Trying to diminish the importance of winning at the highest level, to push the narrative of losing being better or just as good as winning.
Ok, so I attended the No Bull tour last night in Melbourne, heard them speak, all they spoke about was their individual journey into the NBA, how they got better as a team behind the leadership of Jordan to win the championships they won. There was absolutely no trashing of Jordan, in fact it was quite respectful to him and his greatness. Luc called Jordan the goat, Horace said he felt there was no Goat, Pip said that the team is the Goat (Bulls).
I hate Gil's point about money being better than rings, this is what's wrong with the current gen on NBA, it's all about money, nobody does it for the legacy anymore, that's why the media is re-directing the success to stats instead of actual winning
Their side of the story is this. “We would have never won a ring or have even been heard of without Jordan as our team leader pushing them daily to contribute.” If they say anything different then it’s bull 💩
Pippen somehow thinks he was more important than he was. MJ gave thanks to Scottie and called him his best teammate but he also pointed out that Scottie was wrong for how he handled business. From a grown man perspective- he was wrong. The contract that Scottie got - the owner even told him not to sign it so his grief can only be with himself. He didn’t win w/o MJ in the year that Mike played baseball. He called Phil a racist but never tried to leave the Bulls organization and up until the Last Dance came out - he has said MJ was the greatest to ever play basketball and he would never choose Bron or anyone else over Mike. These guys are damn near 60yrs old if not already 60 a settle into your family your grandkids and forget about scratching the scabs off of old scars. It’s not going to make you look or feel better. Scottie really does sound like a scorned woman from a bad relationship. He really needs to seek counseling (really) bc I think he has a lot of anger and demons in his mental space and he needs to get that out of his system. Nothing they say can diminish MJ’s reputation and neither of them would be where they are had it not been for those years on the Bulls teams.
What a beat up! I was at the No Bull event in Melbourne last night. There was no MJ trashing whatsoever. Each of the fellas shared short stories from their own perspective following a timeline starting from childhood then starting in the NBA in the late 80s. It was a lot of fun and some great memories shared. Everyone, including Scottie, was complimentary of MJ.
Gil is 100 percent right. Nothing they talk about on that tour really matters, unless it’s in a positive way. Those guys are champions because of each other, and they were led by one of the greatest players of all time! I’ll leave it at that…
that's a good point, as far as attention goes i wonder how much their socials have blown up, im sure the google search for those 3 names has blown up as well over the past few days staying relevant, kinda like how gil says some wild shit to get responses lol good shit
Me personally I don't See an Issue with the three of them expressing themselves giving a narrative about the experience they had with playing for the Chicago bulls & with Michael Jordan. Craig Hodges should be part of the panal. Just like M J pushed them to be champs, MJ NEEDED them also just as well to Win the 6 chips. ( Those other Guys who declined to be part of the tour are scared of wrath of M.J and how the media will portray them. Don't get it twisted I am a fan of MJ he came through and changed the value of Chicago Bulls along with the rest of the league so the masses see no wrong with how he moves. just my opinion
The wrath of MJ? Y’all acting like Jordan is out here talking about anybody. He doesn’t do interviews, he doesn’t reply to the hate he just lives his life. Man been retired 20+ years and still the topic of discussion
@@GunzNbutterI think you don’t know the wrath of MJ, the wrath isn’t him, it’s the cult like fanbase n media members that are fans. That’s the wrath of MJ, how much you want to bet when this drops not one media member or fan will be on their side. Only known MJ haters, or people that aren’t tht obsessed with MJ that can possibly see the other side of the argument.
Man, staying up late on a school night to watch Jordan play. I had very strict catholic parents but my mother would let me sit on their bed and watch the Bulls play. I was lucky enough to go to a few Bulls games, we took the Amtrak over to Chicago, I had a cousin that worked for the Bulls organization.
Why is hard for you to understand that other people have the right to say their side of the story if they believe that story that was told by MJ wasn't accurate? Were you there? Why don't want to listen to what he has to say?...yall are already discrediting it without hearing what's in it. Why? 😂😂😂😂
Ring culture literally does not matter if you are not the best player on the team or bare minimum 1a 1b with the first option, my guy. It never has, and it never will. We do not care what bus rider numbers 1, 4, and 8 have to say. It only matters when we're talking about the best players ever. We need to stop calling it rain culture and Start calling it finals MVP culture
If anything to adds to ring culture. Because no matter how bad they say it is.. they still didn't leave 🤷🏽♂️ That means winning meant more. But Gil right about 'not wanting to hear what they want to say' since they benefited from winning 🏆
I went last night. They are not complaining at all about MJ. Luc said MJ is the GOAT and horrace pretty much said he’d want jordan taking a game winner
I like how Gilbert’s sayin “the media has us valuing championships” like it’s not the ultimate goal as a competitor! He’s only upset cuz he never won shit
The fact that anyone has the opinion Scottie would have been what he was had he not been playing next to Jordan is crazy.. He'd have no legacy without him
Last Dance didn’t even slander Pippen. this whole fiasco came from his own insecurity. Last dance mentioned MJ’s shortcoming just like Pippen. Were they supposed to omit Pippen’s shortcomings, that’d make it a bad documentary
These People were there and they have the courage to speak their truth. What is wrong with that? As far as having championships, Jordan never won one with some of the people on that stage. Pippen had better team success than Jordan. Pip almost made it back to the finals without MJ. What did Jordan do team wise without Pip? Cut the bs. Leave these guys alone
Pippen made it to the second round and in that series against the showed why he would never be the number 1 when he acted like a bitch on the bench while Kukco hit the game winner
What's wrong w/ it is they're bitter. Not about losing, but about winning. Let that sink in. Pip ain't have to face the Bad Boy Pistons and 80's Celtics by himself so to say he had better team success as the best player on the team is big 🧢🧢🧢
Pippen was a bench player while Jordan was MVP and DPOY. Stop praising Pippen for being carried his whole career. 6 trips to the Finals zero FMVPs. We wouldn't be talking about Pippen if he never played with Jordan
If they would have laughed off MJ’s crazy competitiveness, it would have been better. Everyone knows MJ could be a jerk. They’ve made themselves look small and ungrateful.
Can we all agree They wouldn’t have won without MJ, MJ was the best player on the team. Best player in the league. Buuuuuut MJ wouldn’t have won without them. That team went to the 2nd round of the playoffs without MJ 🤷🏾♂️.
Look at that Gil's arena has discovered a way to be heard perfectly with a tiny microphone without the need of huge distracting microphones in front of everyone's face.
What's wrong with Gilbert Arenas? What's the reason for playing if being on a championship team aint the goal? How does he even link the argument he is trying to gloat over? Even if they do say it wasn't worth it, does that mean everybody on the team feel that way? Or better question, how many other championship teams do you think you'll find that agree? He acts like he is making some kind of earth-shattering point. Besides all that, Mike is a better player without mention of a championship.

I think this No Bull Tour will be just a platform for Pip and Horace to air some their own unhappiness and more likely than not, Luc is gonna come out and said things like, well, that is what it took us to win, there is always good and bad and all that so the tone is not just bitching MJ.
I hope so. I was very surprised Luc would on this.
@@GameTime-yj6qv Luc never wants to come out and talk normally - I think part of this is supporting Scottie.
Is that that dog from the "Nino Brown Episode" of Martin sitting between Brandon and Gil? 🤣

Accurate statement lol. He's lowkey so bitter about it and it's obvious based on the way he talks about "ring culture"

He sounds dumb.
Gil don't have 300 hundred million
He don't even have 300 million smh
@Dozjah he ain't wrong tho because of scottie and them. I was siding with the rings over the money but since that came up I'm like damn I don't wanna be bitter like those guys so fuck it gimme the 300 million and im good. At least I won't be a cranky champion that's not happy in life.

93/94 Chicago Bulls’ Record 55-27 (without Michael Jordan)

Remind me of what championships pippen won after mike* help me out
They kill me with this label "RING CULTURE." Trying to diminish the importance of winning at the highest level, to push the narrative of losing being better or just as good as winning.
Gil made a great point at the beginning of video I need to hear this too
Come see Larsa Pippen , Horace Can’t and Luc Lonely
Ok, so I attended the No Bull tour last night in Melbourne, heard them speak, all they spoke about was their individual journey into the NBA, how they got better as a team behind the leadership of Jordan to win the championships they won. There was absolutely no trashing of Jordan, in fact it was quite respectful to him and his greatness. Luc called Jordan the goat, Horace said he felt there was no Goat, Pip said that the team is the Goat (Bulls).
Wow Gil hit the nail on the head with this one 100
They couldn't do that tour in the USA. No one would care. The only reason they can do that tour in Australia because of Luc.
Bronsexuals would have those tickets sold out in hours
That's probably because everyone's so brainwashed about MJ, and it's pathetic.
Horace Grant actually has 4 rings. 2001 with Lakers and he was actually a big part of that championship
Oh yeah, with KOBE/SHAQ! The next best duo EVER. Horace just needs to shut up and thank the ‘basketball Gods’.
He actually don’t get enough props for the work he put in during that first 3pete
And he still up there complaining lol, the money > rings
@@MrWARBUCKS24 Gilbert acts like Jordan pushed and carried players and workhorses like Grant and Pippen that's truly insane
@dusk6159 In reality, he did. Because they were mentally weak.Which is what Scottie & Horace Grant still are.
Amazing how some athletes egos get in the way of being grateful for going on an historic run with MJ
Gil is 100 percent right. Nothing they talk about on that tour really matters, unless it’s in a positive way. Those guys are champions because of each other, and they were led by one of the greatest players of all time! I’ll leave it at that…
Highly recommend watching the Luc Longley documentary
Well said Gil … this is a man game not for boys complaining about hurt feelings 💯
Pip has descended to the depths of madness. A sad creature.
“You think Dennis Rodman doesn’t like attention?” Lmao
That’s a great point. He 100% would be on this tour if it had merit.

That’s who’s going to go after them, MJ is at tht point where he doesn’t have to say anyt because there are plenty of fans that will ride him until their legs fall off. That’s the wrath of MJ, how much you want to bet when this drops not one media member or fan will be on their side. Only known MJ haters, or people that aren’t tht obsessed with MJ that can possibly see the other side of the argument.
lol if u think Jordan needed them u might need to look at the games and stats and it don’t matter they champions anyway

Why don't want to listen to what he has to say?...yall are already discrediting it without hearing what's in it. Why? 😂😂😂😂
Didn't Pippen just write an entire book complaining about Jordan already??? What's this tour gonna do for him 🤷

Gil with the silent punch at Stephen Jackson
Gilbert ain’t wrong , these people making sound like winning with Mike was a cancer but they would all be really irrelevant if it wasn’t for Mike.
they irrelevant either way why tf you think they going on tour in Australia 😂
Josiah: “Horace was labeled as a snitch for giving inside information.
Gil: “Giving inside info on championships??”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Scottie is really mad because he signed a bad contract and didn't make what he should have in Chicago and then wasn't able to win without Jordan
If anything to adds to ring culture. Because no matter how bad they say it is.. they still didn't leave 🤷🏽♂️ That means winning meant more. But Gil right about 'not wanting to hear what they want to say' since they benefited from winning 🏆
Not enough people caught that cold ass 'Above The Rim' quote from Kenyon

It would be epic if Michael Jordan shows up to one of these events unannounced and catches all those guys off guard 😂
The fact that anyone has the opinion Scottie would have been what he was had he not been playing next to Jordan is crazy.. He'd have no legacy without him

These People were there and they have the courage to speak their truth. What is wrong with that? As far as having championships, Jordan never won one with some of the people on that stage.
Pippen didn’t almost make it back to the Finals. By that logic anyone that makes the playoffs almost makes the finals

That's A Good Point! "Complaining About Winning" 🥇 Crazy 🤔
