I just started rewatching The Last Dance, I have no idea what they’re complaining about. Scottie was presented in such a glowing light in that doc, I don’t understand what the problem is. He agreed to be apart of it lol
They wanted a romanticized version of their careers. They only thought MJ would be the one to get criticism. So they're butthurt now.
Pippen was presented in a positive and negative light. To say it was just positive is a lie. His contract, him waiting to get surgery and him refusing to come back in the game when kukoc hit the game winner were all highlighted. Jordan also showed the negative side of himself so I don't see the problem any of them had.

When Michael Jordan left and went to play baseball, Scottie had every opportunity to show that he was better than Jordan but he couldnt. Scottie knows he was not better than Jordan. Scottie is just pissed off that people from the old heads the new generations still respect and love Jordan.

Yep, it was all marketing, Scottie didn’t say anything negative about MJ at all, all three mentioned him as the great player and that they all needed to get better fast to help the team win a championship. It was more about the three of them and how they’ve had this great friendship over the years. Also Scottie is promoting the Australian League which he wants his 18 year old son to come down here and play in, like how Lamelo Ball did. The adverts to this tour were very misleading.

First, Scottie did the things that were portrayed in The Last Dance and at the end of it, had a redemption story fighting through back pain to finish it out against Utah. Second, Luc got his own documentary in Australia and MJ sat down for several hours to share how important Luc was and how much he valued him. These dudes have lost my respect.

Pippin is going around acting like a spurned ex-girlfriend. Jordan said in the documentary that there would be no Michael Jordan without Scottie Pippin. He's always said that. As far as I remember the only negative thing he said about Pippin was that he was being selfish when he didn't have needed surgery in the summer and waited until the season started. Although Jordan had final say he was apprehensive about releasing it because he was fearful how it was going to make him look. They should be thanking their lucky stars they played with Jordan instead of acting like bitter exes.

The documentary didn't lie about Scottie pippen. He did quit on his team and waited until the regular season to have surgery because of his contract. Kobe rode his teammates, but you don't hear them bashing him. It's just wrong.

Funny that Scottie Pippen claims MJ telling Steve Kerr to be ready if John Stockton doulbed him was FOR THE CAMERAS for The Last Dance when the Kerr shot came in the 1997 Finals yet The Last Dance did not start filimg until the start of the 1997-1998 season. The Kerr shot was shown in The Last Dance when they cut back in time which they did throughout the series. It shows just how much credibility Pippen has.

The last dance is one of the best sports documentaries ever. They have rings, they should be grateful for having played with Jordan.
These guys have the right to speak their side. No one who is objective can deny that the doc was biased toward Jordan and overlooked his flaws. Grant was a vital part of those title runs and got no props. Jordan can be critiqued like everyone else. Its sad that you two media guys are such Jordan Stans..and this is from a guy who had Jordan and Pippen all over my bedroom as a teenager and have watched and respected Rob since the Sports Reporters and Broussard from his early ESPN days as well. Imagine a movie where only 1 actor gets paid while the rest of the cast doesn't get a single cent, the rest of the production gets paid but only 1 actor, that's odd but that's what Jordan did, Jordan should've spread the wealth

I watched the Season series of the White Shadow. Shoutout to Warren Cooledge. Pretty good show. The high school coach hurt his knee with the Bulls, tried to come back, and couldn't play. I went on to coach a high cool team, and it was a good show.
It was a good show, people seem to forget how limited TV was in '78 anyway. It wasn't like we had cable with a million channels.
