- One of my guildmates who has exceptional gear and talent when it comes to mounted combat. The devs hinted in an interview that the Wizard/Witch can become like Gandalf mounted on his steed in battle depending on the player and I believe 법빛 is a good example of this being true.
A good portion of this video is him mounting on his horse and harassing a large number of enemy players truly exemplifying what many would envision of a Wizard/Witch in a fantasy setting.
While Wizard/Witches are generally weak in one on one situations (especially against Bladers. Bladers are a total nightmare for a lone Wizard/Witch) they're a must-have asset in large scale battles for their AoE attacks and support spells such as healing.

how come you can use meteor twice sometimes?
This is back then when you didn't get stunned and 1 shot. You had to work for your kill. It's a far cry from today where you if you encounter a pvper, your hits are just taps on them and they will knock you down, you can't do crap meanwhile, and get 1 shot oblierated.

There are three spells that are considered Wizard's ultimate spells; Meteor, Blizzard, and Earthquake.
Blizzard deals the most damage but requires you to hit your target while channeling your skill. Meteor on the other hand deals quick damage as soon as its cast is finished and can knock down targets while dealing down damage. Earthquake does down damage while inflicting both bound and flinch status. But it deals the least damage and the radius is centered around the caster so this is usually saved as a last resort.

roksoulja84 Blizzard still has a cast time despite being a channeled skill and the knock down doesn't last that long.

Yea, next time try a vid against equal gear, for the reality is: Wiz gets knocked down, when (if) he gets up he is at 1/10 hp against equals... Misinformation at it's greatest...
lol horse fighting looks funny :p , sucks that witch cant use awakening on horse, and non-awakening sux without the "second awakening that has to release yet even in korea".
Lol that mounted combat at the start looks insane, nice and fast paced. If only they reintroduced trade pack stealing the carriage chasing would be amazing. Huge wild west feel to it xD

Not a carriage chasing but there's this giant bat hunting with rifles while mounted thing which seems like an experience close to what you're looking for.

really can't decide between ranger and wizard, i like squishy long range damage dealers and i prefer to be good at 1v1 too. When i am and i am not able to use my mount for pvp as it looks like from guides that the wizard/witch is not one of the strongest 1v1class without its mount. Correct me and give me your view if you can please :) Nice VID!
Do you think Rednose armor is still good for Witch/Wizzard if im not able to get the Tree spirit armor?
It's not bad but the reason people don't use it is because it has little merit compared to.. don't know the spelling but hebetatis and grunil, especially considering how expensive it is to enchant it.

hey can you tell me what's the difference between wizards big spells? do they apply any special effects or which one deals the most damage?
How do you strafe on a horse? mine just turns around when i press the strafe key

Your horse needs a skill for that.
@AFKalmighty can i ask you which armor and weapon you using? because i want to play the witch when it comes out at the eu version and i want to know which armor and weapon should be the best for this class. :)

Gurunil is the go-to armor set for practically all classes before moving on to boss-drop gear.
For weapons, use a accuracy off-hand and a Yuria Staff. Try to switch to Liberto Staff or Kzaka Staff depending on your gem settings and financial status. Switch your accuracy off-hand to a damage one or Nuber after you've got a pair of Veg Gloves.

I know you don't play witch AFKalmighty, but do you know how you would socket a karzaka staff?
+KwonBiribirin 2 x 5 AP 2 human dmg red BG Crystals, these are very expensive so i have a second kzarka for pve world boss farming without Crystals.
+KwonBiribirin What Nacario said but it would be a good idea to switch to +2 accuracy +5% resistance penetration gems that will come out when Valenica is released (I think I heard it is going to be next month?)

I'll try but it's going to take a while since I barely log in these days. I do know he has a 20+ liberto weapon and all his other gear are highly enhanced boss drop items.

+Sekihanko its just cause he's mounted the hose let you cast spell while moving so the horse kinda eliminate its class main weakness.

Hard to tell since none of those three have their awakened weapons yet but in the current state Witch is really your only option if you're looking to be useful in PvP. Then again if you're one of those types who like to play alone then all three of them are equally bad choices.

+Nightcore Eye What about zerker/warrior then? For EU/NA I really want to play something up in your face, dmg but who can hold his own in both solo and grp pvp! Style wise i lean more towards zerker/giant? Thoughts?

That's kinda difficult since I haven't logged in for some time but I can tell you that he's practically mastered every skill since most players max out all their skills by the time they reach level 59 (if they reach it at all that is).
If I'm remembering correctly, he's got a full 18+ boss set with damage accessories, Nuber off-hand weapon, and a 20+ Liberto Staff.

That really depends on your preference though I can say that Beast Master has been consistently considered a boring class to play (though this may change when she gets her awakened weapon) and for Witch remember that she is incredibly weak in 1vs1 situations.
As for Blader/Plum I would recommend Blader if combat capabilities is your sole concern. No one understands exactly why but Plum's damage output has always been very poor compared to the burst-crazy Blader. Again, this may change once these two get their awakened weapon.

This is my guildmate's character so I'm not that knowledgeable on wiz/witch. But here's a skill tree along with a character guide [korean, will have to use google translate] made by someone from Inception guild.

It practically has every skill on the tree but you eventually get enough skill points in Black Desert. This tree should at least show you which skills to avoid.

I'm happy to say I do pretty well on horse. I don't have sidestep yet, but as soon as I do I will be unstoppable!!

+Frucct s > on eu, u can do this by go in to ur settings > game > general > use mouse movement... Once u channel an ability; blizzard / meteor / Black spirit ulti, u click CTRL, and click around u to turn ur mouse courser
