Good times buddy 💪😁
Very good video. Congrats to you both.
U from russia or US?
@@rafatireborn russia lived in the US
I'd be curios to see your forearm flexed measument like the other two gentlemen did.
Mad love guys💪🏻
I'm most impressed how Anton calculated 70% of 150lbs is 105lbs in about 1 second.
You just devide by 10 and multiply by 7 thats not really that hard if you practice it atleast sometimes. Since Anton works as a construction worker he might calculate stuff in his head sometimes.
@@kotprohorov it’s not hard, but most people can’t even calculate a 20% tip without a calculator 😂
@@kotprohorov nice! even easier, at least for me, if you divide by 10; multiply by 3; and subtract that from the 150.
just take the remaining 30% which is 15 x 3 = 45. 150 - 45 = 105.
70% of 150 is 150% of 70. X% of Y is always Y% of X.
This was a crossover I wasn't expecting :D Love it!
Glad you liked it!
Anton, it's interesting to watch your channel.
I remember how good you were as a trampline trainer in Moscow!
Absolutely unexpectedly your video was recommended by UA-cam!
Wish you good luck!
Thank you very much! 💪🔥 yeah! Moscow was very fun times!😎
Anton I've torn part of my muscle in my form arm, seems to be pronator. Have no idea how it just happened. No bruising just a bump in my muscle that's gone.
@@D9Wx Speak with a doctor, don't bother anton with medical questions lol!

Still more techniques to explore with grip strength, so humbling 💪 It's really cool to hear you guys speak Russian btw, such a beautiful language !
Awesome! Thank you!💪🔥
LOVE HEARING THE RUSSIAN!! Its really nice hearing the difference in your annunciation between the two languages. As always, great vid my dude!
Thank you! 😃🔥
Looks like that dyno thing wasn't meant to measure over 200lb, and Alex definitely went over it. Crazy stuff. Here's somebody you don't want to shake hands with. Nope, no way.
lb or kg?
@@aland8269 What do you think?
I promise, I do regular handshakes. Only time I purposely squeeze too tight is when I want to hurt them. So don't be afraid.
Great video Anton! Love the diversity of your content 😃I must admit that I didn't expect this collab to appear💪
Regarding your elbow pain; you could try forearm rotation with a light dumbbell and pinch grip training using a pinch hold from climbing. It's quite a common injury with climbers. Hope this helps reduce the pain 😄
Have a wonderful New Years Eve and looking forward to more content in the new year.
Thank you! Happy new year 🎊
1:49 Anton: just don't break it
Alex: *breaks it*
Wishing you health and happiness in the New Year! Thank you for your inspiration throughout the past year-you helped me believe I could get into a gym and get stronger, I just deadlifted 65lbs, which is a lot for an old disabled lady lol! I’m not stopping there, this is just the beginning, and you made me believe I could try one more time and get healthier and stronger and still have fun while doing that! Thank you so much, truly! ❤ from Canada
Much love!!! Best of everything in 2024!!! Happy new year 🎊🎆🎈
"you're welcome to be uncomfortable" is going on my list of Anton-isms
💪🔥
Both climbing and arm wrestling are strength specific sports 👍 Good to see such a friendly competition.
Great stuff man! Thank you for the awesome content as usual!
My pleasure!💪
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Anton and crew!!
Thabks a lot Mark! Appreciate you! Happy new year 💪🔥🔥🔥🎊🎊🎊 all the best your way 😎🎄🎁
"in order to show dominance." lol classic Anton
That Eccentric Handle looks like a worthy training addition. Great training vid as always 👍🏽
Yes it does!🔥💪
Wauw that last exercise surprised me. New workout @Anton
4:44 Hanging like it's nothing, talking casually... Maybe yawning and then:
- I think it's enough
Glad to see you getting into arm wrestling. It's a fantastic pure sport. Love your videos and attitude. Maybe my French ancestry is biased, but you're a brother from many many many a distant mother ;)
anton is good as always.... Can't stop watching his videos... Get so excited to workout just by viewing
Thanks a lot💪🔥
Hi Anton
I enjoy your videos. Concerning the weight stack with pulley sit on top of it, did you subtract the pulley effects on the stack and make sure the resistance is correct? Older machine design didn’t take this into account and the resistance could be only 50# or so. One way to find out is to use crane scale to test it. The reason i ask is i just want to be sure how my numbers compare to yours. I’m happy to see that my forearm measured about same size as yours, though i love to see it grow bigger
Anton, I've been doing heavy isometrics for tendon strength. That same spot that's hurting on your elbow has bothered me for than a decade. It's been getting steadily better over the course of the last few months. I started out with a weight I could hold for 4 seconds (so, around 1rm max), and I've progressed up to 10 seconds at that same weight. I'm very careful - no swinging, no shock loading. I start the weight exactly in position. I don't lift it into position. I need at least a day between attempts or pain gets worse instead of better. This seems to be the magic sauce for me. Maybe it will work for you.
Do you have your palms facing towards you?
@@UmarKhan-qs5ov I take a neutral grip.
You channel should grow 100× .. Man
💪😎🔥
immidiate like for this collab!
Hey Anton, when you feel that pain in the medial part of your elbow, you should try doing a few exercises to pump the wrist extensors, it usually helps a lot.
Nice video ! Anton if the eccentric mazurenko handle is causing that much pain at low loads doesn't that means it is actually the perfect rehab tool for you ? Just do long isometrics pulls with progressive overload
Interesting. Love building up grip
That wheezed "pizdaa" at 09:03 had me laughing :D
Yay a new vid!
Hanging by one arm with an additional 50 pounds for over a minute while holding a casual conversation... Damn! That's impressive
it's nice to hear you talking russian, your english is extremely good but you seem much more in your element in this video than some others. glad you're still getting good views, growing your channel and growing your expertise.
Thanks! 😃
When Anton can't even do 15 pounds you know it's hard lmao
Very specific movement 😬😬😬
@@AntonFomenko I think you could condition your elbow to be able to do that in 3 months.
Were your elbows hurt because you've already arm-wrestled at this point?
The mazurenko lift might be a worthwhile rehab exercise for you if it feels so uncomfortable at such low load.
A rather monstrous wrist wrench lift though!
Did you do anything to train endurance on the single arm hang, and did you do any type of protocol for wrist wrench? You could do a video possibly on it please? I made a diy wrist wrench but could only manage 20kg 😂 need help please.
I've always maintained that pound for pound, Anton and Magnus are perhaps 2 of the strongest athletes on the planet
Ya magnus is a complete freak of nature
as this shows strength is relative to the exact positions and challenges.
specialization
A lift is a lift'💪. Banter in Russian is even more entertaining ;) The sport specific strenghts are remarkably but not unexpectedly different. Well done everyone. I wish you all a peaceful and Happy New Year. Thanks for the Boulder cameo ;)
Thank you!!!💪🔥🔥🔥
Alex is a beast!
Thanks! 🎄 Merry Christmas
Thank you so much! All the best your way and happy new year 🎊💪🔥
Alex, anton and Ian barseagle (188cm 95kg) would be a dream collab ....3 titans of 3 different discipline
lookin good buddy 🤙
Really liked that last grip you used any suggestion where to buy?
I measured and i have 11.5 inch forearm, felt good to know im almost on antons level in that reguard. Also at the gym my forearm was so pumped it hurt (no preworkout today)
Did Alex just say that schoolboy does twice as much as him for wrist curls!! 😳
yes
Awesome video as always, Anton!
Thank you!💪🔥
As an armwrestler I absolutely enjoyed this video 😁
Just wish y'all would've armwrestled at the end.
Next time!💪🔥
3:30 first time I heard Anton talk in Russian.
19:20 you just pulled your tendon in the other exercises before. It can happen on lifts that have you flex the forearms in extended positions. I always get a mild version of that on iron crosses. Then it hurts to do the slightest wrist curl
“My elbow doesn’t like it”-дипломатический перевод у тебя😂
Anton, maybe you can make your workout whole week routine. Your arms are crazy😮
1 arm hangs i would say is less grip strength and more shoulder strength and elbow flexability 😅. Its HARD, wants to dislocate shoulder feeling
Love it sir antone ❤😂🎉
WOO NEW VID LET'S GO
Happy New Year!
Great collab with two of my favorite youtubers! 💪
💪😎🔥🔥🔥
In that wrist flexor lift, it was mad seeing his forearm being the same size as his calf muscle 🤣
4:26 so smooth and calm.
I think you need to activate the wrist on the wrist wrench, when you have a bigger one
1:25 nice pr man i recently hit my PR of 183.2
Omg Anton, I just got a dynamometer for Christmas and I was thinking, I wonder how I compare to Anton, I got 62.5 kg and I weigh 165 lbs so I have a little work to do! Great video!
Amazing!
finger strength /= grip strength. Especially in certain arm wrestling moves. Cupping is the biggest advantage...and that comes from lower hand, top arm, wrist strength. tendons that takes years to develop...that not even mountain climbing develops...
In case for more accurate results mesure the muscle lenght cause this change a lot in strenght and muscle units sollicitation
you did pretty awesome!
Thank you!!💪🔥
Poetic Justice the movie, has one of the best sayings I heard in a movie.
By Regina King's character. "The world is just a big place to go out and fuck up in."
I wish you and Magnus would get in to armwrestling a little bit. I think you both have a lot of potential.
100% agree they already have many of the strengths needed and wld just need to learn techniques and work on cupping and pronation
7:11 the torsion between the middle and ring fingers is massive, and based on his size his fingerpads are probably rather long making the 20mm edge on a standard Tension Block feel quite small and further reduce force output. Plus, trying to flex through the PIP joints when he trains MCP flexion seems unnecessary. Would retest on a larger edge and nonspecific grip position.
I know you probably try all sorts of and get all sorts of exercise advice for your elbow pain but here are two videos I stumbled upon that might be good, hoping for better elbows for the new year: part 1 ua-cam.com/video/6vzmt0VgvF0/v-deo.html and part 2 ua-cam.com/video/rTfXECJWgVY/v-deo.html
It's always inspiring to see the types of chronic pains you have yet still performing crazy feats/stunts despite them!
Aww I was hoping to see some arm wrestling!
Hey Anton! You can do far better for Eccentric Hand Pull! Because of the momentum. Just check the gripping angle of Alex(check 20:01), he grabs the Eccentric Handle in a larger angle(it means perpendicular distance between his hand and center of the grip is shorter), but you grab it almost 90 degrees (it is angle of the largest momentum) . Just a small physics things. 🤣
I think that's enough because it starts hurting. LOL Anton is tough.
Love to see how Magnus would do on all of these.
I’m curious how the cupping strength they talk about would translate to crack climbing (and vice versa)
I would think it's a bit different kind of cupping that you need in arm wrestling than in cup jams, as in arm wrestling the wrist is flexed where as in jams the wrist is mostly in a neutral angle, but would be definitely interesting to see. I'm thinking these guys are probably very strong with slopers.
Anyone know where i can find the tool they use to stack plates for the floor lifts? (Wrist wrench and crimp sections)
we need to something Antoin is actually challenged by... whatever he does, he beats the competition
What muscle are mainly working in the last exercise? To me it looked like having strong latissimus or being good in onearm pullup would help and i think anton is pretty decent in this stuff.
Its not really about onearm pullups in this one as the biceps has not real role here pulling something down, other than adjusting the position of the arm. The whole movement is about dragging weight back, but with a normal spinning handle the hart part is to keep the weight in place with downpressure and the wrist should not be a problem if you are okay strong in your wrist. I do well in this movement.
But when using the handle they have there is now about downpressure, wrist, but now also fingers. So it become more about if you try and use the wrist to much there will be put to much pressure on the fingers and then you cant move the weight and if you only try to focus on the fingers your wrist will open up and then you cant move the weight.
If there is anything I think is weird about the handle is that you lift more if you are good at using the middle finger, where in armwrestling its normally more about the Index finger to get a good starting grip and Pinky to protect the hand from opening up.
@@jakobstisen6366 thanks for your detailed explanation
See Anton speaking in russian is a completely different person! Oo
The dynamometer maxes out at 200 lbs that's why it gave an error. I have the same one
You’ve got this I believe in you!😅
Happy New Year!
Happy new year 🎈🎊
Neat!
181k subs is a scamm. You deserve millions, your great!
Yeah... feels like gambling.... 😅
I remember easily being able to hang by one arm when I was a kid. Now I feel like something will tear when I try to do it. Haha
Im so proud that i can pull the same weight as anton on 20mm edge. Im a climber if it wasnt clear
Right its nice to watch a video like this and be able to match or beat athletes like these. I'm 155lbs just started grip and I can max out the same dynamometer their using. I used to be really strong especially pound for pound just from working in high-school but injuries slowed me down but now I've been trying to get back into it, more so for armwrestling. I also can wrist curl 90lbs for reps and 65-70lbs so far w that last lift but mines a 2x4 board handle I made haha I also used a scale to see what the true weight was off the pulley system I made its a single pulley so it's actual weight. I need to get that finger tip handle for rock climbing that seems hard, I'm guessing that's what your talking about matching him with?
Was the cable machine single pulley ? So the weights is what your lifting and not closer to half the weight. 68kg on the Mazerenko handle is elite level for for even heavy weights. It doesn’t seem right lol.
Let's see!
Dude actualy Errored the grip machine for a milisec there =D
The "school boy" has lost his babyface completely. Time flies
i try this one with rist for 120 lb 8 reps was my max.
