I actually bought this pen from Amazon because I didn’t have the money at the time to spend on a real Apple Pencil and I didn’t realize that it doesn’t work It didn’t work on 9.7 inch iPad Pro until I watched your video so thanks lol
I use it for my iPad Air 4th generation (2020), my main problem is that after charging it fails to connect to the device. I have to scribble on the screen sometimes for half an hour in order for it to start working. After that it does work just fine even when I turn it off and then back on, until it needs charging again. Then I have to start it all over again. I don’t know what the problem could be but it annoys me so much. I even considered returning it, even though besides this I love the pen and it works just fine but this is a huge drawback. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

There's a newer version of this pen that instead of the pressure detection it actually uses tilt of the pen to variate the thickness of the lines. China will soon own the global tech landscape.

@@chloemccrea7363 I don’t have an Apple Pencil, however from my understanding it should connect with Bluetooth (if 2nd generation) on the top of the iPad (magnet). If it’s the 1st generation, you have to plug in your pencil like you’re charging your iPad. Hope this helps!
Thanks for your video. I bought the rohs stylus pen and I like it. I like to write One minute I was using then the next it wouldn’t work. Nor would my finger. I pressed a color and then hit classic and nothing !!! I would try using my finger then nothing !!! Beyond frustrated I went to settings Bluetooth was turned on and stylus was not discoverable I really am not a tech person don’t even remember if the pencil had to be paired when I got it with my iPad. You seem to know what you are doing. I just want to draw and write. I’m so frustrated!!!!!! Thank you so much. Maria
Hi, hope you've managed to resolve the problem, you don't need to pair it by bluetooth it should just work, the only thing you need to make sure is that there aren't any other styluses connected, hope you have better luck with it!
I just found your review after my generic stylus came in the mail. This stylus did attach to the magnetic side of my iPad Pro. It will do just fine. I just purchased the iPad Pro I’m happy and perhaps I will buy the iPencil later on.

I had the same one, really good drawing. problem is you can't "exit" apps with pen like apple pencil which simply scull from the bottom, it also can't pull down the tool bar from the top right corner. which I found pretty annoying. thoughts ?
Actually you can’t do that on the Apple Pencil either, the way I got round it is I’ve enabled the assistive touch home button which the pencil works on so I have home, notifications, multitasking etc in there for quick access, give it a go it’s quite a good solution 😀

I learned that this wouldn't work with my iPad because it's for the newer models. So I had to return this pencil.

The 2nd gen upgrade of this can magnetically attach but only to the 2018 iPad Pro. Which I’m ok with since that is the one I have.

You didn't have to disconnect your apple pencil completely, you could have turned off your Bluetooth and still use the stylus pen.

You press the top and it should work automatically. It doesn’t need Bluetooth or anything else to pair.

Hi it's a different shape so cases are unlikley to fit, it should however fit in straps and attachments designed for the Apple pencil!
