Loyang - Reliable and Comfortable. But Power Crept.

Loyang is still a fun ship to play, if a bit power-crept due to being in the game for a lot of years. The hydro is really nice in some circumstances, but in today's game meta, with so much radar and 6km hydro, you are not likely to be able to use it as much as you might have six or seven years ago. Still, this ship is very much like the Benson in the U.S. destroyer line, and if you enjoy that ship, you would likely have fun with the Loyang. Good game in the Loyang. I've got the Loyang and Anshan from black Friday crates. They're not bad but that turret traverse is a pain. Don't know why WG make DD turrets so slow, as to be uncomfortable to play. The shells hit hard but are floaty. Torps are good and hydro (Loyang) is very handy. It's a good allrounder. PersonalIy I don't have a high average damage in DDs, only 39k, I'm more focussed on the win. Back in the day i use to start off with only a 3 point captain for all the ship lines... A bit rough, to say the least. However, I have learnt a lot from your vids and commentary. More DD play please 🙂
