Don't,visit Tanzania first set up some investment which you would be earning from and then move don't just move without a plan or you will be back in usa in a yr or less but come to Africa come invest here built here after all it is your home land

Very informative, thanks. Just for comparison, I rent a little 1 room apartment in the capital of Ukraine for $350 per month, so I'm shocked by your cheap rent. That's 1 room combo bedroom/living room, Kitchen, and bathroom. About 38 sq meters I think. Utilities cost me about $50, but I use a lot. Phone and internet are cheap. $20 a month for unlimited calling and high speed internet. All In all with food, I spend $700-$1000 per month for 1 person. But I spend a lot compared to Ukrainians.

It’s one thing we don’t see or get to develop insight on. Most ppl we see in TZ or on the continent in general, don’t have kids, they’re older, or they only have one.. my kids are 4,3 and 10 months.. any challenges? We are looking to move within 2 years.

Some of the popular channels that you may know are Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, NatGeo, BET Int’l, MTV (Africa), CNN......
There are local channels and channels you get on cable tv. For the ones on cable tv go look at DSTV tanzania on google. You will get the different packages they offer and the channels you will get in those packages.
You can watch all American channels all you need to pay is like $50 a month for international channels
