I knew immediately I wanted her to be my wife, but no way I was going to ask her until I could give her the life she deserved. It took me to 28 to ask her, and 30 to get married. But when I asked her, I already did military service, became an electrician, owned my own home with no mortgage, no debt, and started my own electrician business. I didn’t spend my 20s partying, I was a virgin until the night of my marriage. That was the trade off. When all these leftists are working until 70 to live alone with no children, I’ll retire at 55 and spend the rest of my life traveling or working in the church full time.
@@TheSpicyLeg That's such a sweet story. I hope I'll find the right girl someday... but here in the Netherlands, people don't seem to think the same way as many people in the US do. Here, many girls and women are more interested in extreme feminism, and they won't go for a man who's stable and the way you describe yourself. I myself am not Christian, I wasn't raised to believe (or disbelieve), but I do think Christian values are very good. If I were to say that, women here would instantly run away. People here believe women can have everything but don't really need to be responsible. Heck, we occasionally have TV ads encouraging adultery. I'm not saying that's the case with all women here, so I always keep hope. I'm 27 now... it's just a struggle but I'll hang on, and I'm very glad to hear that things still do work out sometimes, like in your case.
Enigma It would be wrong of me to assume anything about your country, since I’ve never had the pleasure to visit. However, I will tell you a little secret that still holds true, though it is certainly not PC to say. Women want traditional men. No, many of them are not going to admit it. Another story: I was about 25 when I went to a friend’s party for the Super Bowl. I was dating my wife, but she did not go to the party. While there, talk got to how society views men and women and their role. I said I believe men have a duty to protect and support their wives, and women have a duty to love and support their husbands - including sex. I don’t mean that men should rape their wives, but physical intimacy is an important part of marriage. A girl was there, about my age, that blew up on me. Standard feminist nonsense. Later, when I walked out to my car to leave, she followed me out and asked if I wanted to go to her apartment. Obviously, I turned her down, which made her want it all the more. She couldn’t help but want a real man. In fact, that girl got my number from someone and kept asking if I was single. The women in your country may be the same. And if you act like a man, they’ll be drawn to you. But you can’t fake it. Work hard. Tell the truth. Save money. Obviously, I believe faith in God is crucial here, and I encourage you to try out a church. There are many good women in the church. But even if you don’t want to go to church, institute some biblical concepts like the ones listed above. They will be invaluable.
I love all the anti-Knowles troll posts! This means that he's gaining more traction, and that certainly is getting to the leftist psychos. Thanks Michael, you're my new favorite God-Duke of the Daily Wire lineup.
I'm not sure where the all of this revisionist history is being taught. My professor taught us the exact same story of the pilgrims and Plymouth. To add to Knowles, the pilgrims also anointed Squanto as a member of the elect after his death. However, Knowles is omitting a lot of important info in his lectures over Columbus.
One thing which feeds the idea that white man coming to the western hemisphere was just bad, all bad, is the idea of invasive species. That many introduced species from elsewhere become (seen to be) invasive, goes along with that. So, turns out that there is a lot of lesser known info and perspectives on invasive species - plant or animal - . I don't recall the books on the topic which I have yet to read ( wrote them down somewhere ) but the awesome permaculture "guru" Geoff Lawton has shared some great insights and tidbits on this topic. His short vlogs on the topics of weeds, for example, are a place to find some of those gems. Now, I'm not saying that there aren't real issues which those with decades of experience are totally wrong about ( still speaking of plants right now ) - I've never dealt with kudzu - but there truly is more to the "story" of the why of the issue and also, the what to do about it. Learning about this can be REALLY educational and eye-opening in ways which have wide application and I highly recommend we all do this, and be better equipped to deal with the related topics/ways the left uses their understanding of "invasive species" to push their agendas.
The pilgrims were set to inhabit N. Virginia, not NY. They obviously, and purposefully went way off course and eventually settled Mass. Bay Colony and Plymouth Colony. Just read the mayflower compact.
Only somewhat purposefully. If I remember correctly from Of Plymouth Plantation, there was a storm, that blew them off course, then they were running out of some supplies, and the weather was bad enough, and the ship needed enough repair, that they decided not to sail south to VA.

Im probably gonna get attacked for this but what ever, why keep quiet? Knowles side stepped the boarder wall question. All he did was regurgitate talking points. Why do we need a physical the entire stretch? How will we know if someone breaches to boarder? We wont. We need electronic surveillance like seismic sensors, drones with thermal imaging and NV, a quick access road the length of the boarder (which will be needed to build a wall anyways). All of the stuff that Im mentioning has been used to keep people out of military bases like Area51. Why not use them on the boarder?
And a wall could include that. Illegal aliens cost US taxpayers an estimated 128 billion annually. A wall would keep out a large number of new ones. Deport the old ones, and the wall is paid for, it actually saves us money. Crime goes down, wages go up, which is another economic benefit, and there's no reason to not build a wall

Everyone that works pays National Insurance and this covers healthcare. Need open heart surgery? You will get the best consultants to look after you, all your meds and they even pay for your fare to hospital for your appointments. The cost? NADA, nothing, free of charge. They also have an incredible biosciences industry. The world's first heart transplant was done in Cape Town, South Africa and the CT scan was developed by a South African. The rest of the world is just as vibrant and industrious in research and healthcare provision. I do love Michael though and cannot fault his patriotism.
I'm not here to naysay u other than to add that there is some issues in the UK, like with the child which they wouldn't allow the parents to take out of the country to try for an experimental treatment to try to save his life. Alfie something, I think his name was ( the child ). Even when a hospital in another country was going to pay for it all and had a helicopter THERE at the hospital in the UK where the child was at, they were sent away. Also, personally I prefer them to just stay away from comparing us to other countries, as much as possible, and stick to the point that it's against our founding principles and constitution, to have socialism. Also is immoral, many of us here believe ( however immoral it may be to not help those in need, stealing from others to help them is also immoral ). Voluntarily banding together is ok and here, we have always been free to do that ! That is the point I like to drive home.
Nothing whatsoever is free. Ever. Someone pays. Second point, I've seen and heard many many Brits and Canadians criticize that very system and beg and plead with Americans to not ever adopt it. Your comment is merely your own opinion and we all know what those are like
Well, other than being there ourselves ( then, there's issues with trusting our own biases, perspectives and memories ) the next best thing is to read from the letters and journals etc. of those who were. Also, sources such as others who'd read those, or spoke with or knew people, in the years shortly afterwards, help to add to it, or verify.

Please tell me (truthfully) that you are under 40...? I'll do a little Snoopy happy dance if you're under 30! Add to this befuddlement, why would we connect health insurance to employment? We don't do this with auto or home, etc. No one needs to lose a job and coverage (of any kind) automatically together. It's insane. DOIs and markets need to work this out, not turf-hungry bureaucrats and lawyers....
I started first grade in 1950.. In twelve years of public school and three years of college, I was never taught about Squanto.. I got my first computer ten years ago and started researching EVERYTHING.. I was flabbergasted at all that was left out or skewed in those eighteen years.. I am very resentful at having raised my kids on false information.. As I learn I relay info to my kids, grandkids and everyone who is interested.. I lost out on so much I could have seen growing up in Ohio.. Now I'm unable to travel to see everything I missed..
I have to imagine, though, that schooling, and society at large, was considerably less leftist than it is today.

Repubs and Dems actually worked together for the good of the country and everyone honored the office of the president.. Politics and politicians have declined to levels we would not have thought possible.. We were all proud of our country and her institutions.. Most citizens were patriots.. Much was neglected in our curriculum but at least we were not taught to hate our country and a college education was still something to be desired and of some value..

Okay, like my wife looked 10 years ago. Still love you honey, if you watch this tomorrow.
I'm unsubscribing. We just met! Surely you’re not that sorry already to hear I’m taken.
Damn, your wife is gorgeous then. You must be a special kind of guy to have gotten a relationship with her. Well done, man.
Enigma not really. I just work hard and love God, and life has a way of being full of blessings.
We met when she was 19 and I was 21.

Tells it like it is!
Good stuff. Sharing it.

While the general anchor baby concept is something I'm NOT a fan of, for women from China, quite frequently they go for the sake of escaping forced abortions, so it's a human rights issue that's worth helping them out with, but it's not necessary for those who don't need to escape from such circumstances.

To the 1st Questioner in the Q & A : #1 get a true free market back so it's not overly expensive, yes. #2: Charities - the answer for any need we are unable to meet ourselves. Stealing from some to give to others in need is wrong, and against our founding principles. #3 : Health cost sharing groups already exist and more can be started. We belong to Samaritan ministries and highly recommend it. There was a story about them/a family of of members in 2019 or so - somewhere like the NY Times - which falsely represented both S.M. and the family. The family were NOT ok with how their words got twisted or something, check out S.M. online for more om that if anyone needs to. They were very good about it, in response, btw. . Always very godly and gracious !
#4: ( more like #1 ) Pray and choose to depend fully on God , not "Egypt" /the world/others ( while also being responsible as u can be of course, and not afraid to seek appropriate help).
#5: Avoid wasting $ on health insurance and save & invest in other ways, whether land or other less risky assets, or otherwise, for your future needs.
#6: Bad things happen sometimes and sometimes we are going to have to maybe "sell all we have" etc. to be able to afford to pay our bills from some disaster. Prayerfully depend on God to help u get thru it and get on your feet again, afterward. Sometimes the help may not be sent to u in avoiding that situation but in what happens afterwards. We miss out on seeing God work, or even letting God work in or for us and others, by resorting to sin ( stealing/forced socialism or communal living etc. ) over going thru that.
Lastly, per all the arguments which may still be put forth for socialism or Communism, ask them if they agree that they wouldn't like to be forced to live in a commune, against their will. Then say, neither do I or MANY other Americans and it is against our founding and our constitution etc. and yet you are FREE, FREE, FREE to make or join a voluntarily entered into agreement or commune HERE in the US of A OR to MOVE OUT. Are we getting rid of all history on racism and transgender people? Cutting government back to just monuments?

He is 100% incorrect about the British medical system. It is far superior to the US system. I am not British, and have lived in many countries The NHS is excellent and Americans living in the UK plead with the Brits not to let the Americans get their hands on the NHS.
