Good for you. I believe feminism does a lot more harm than any good to us, women. I am a college graduate and, for a time, I was a fulfilled housewife who was raising a daughter, without any pressure from anybody to have a “job”. And my ex-husband was a blue-collar worker. When our daughter reached school age, I volunteered in her school full-time, a position that indicates that not all jobs need to be viewed as career moves or as a promise of monetary incentives, in my case, none.

Michael Knowles reminds me of Zachary Levi every time I watch one of his videos. I totally agree with his answer about IVF. My husband and I were unable to conceive and we looked into IVF but just couldn't bring ourselves to go through the process because of the embryo issue. We chose to adopt a sibling group from foster care instead.

A few updates FYI on IVF. It doesn't necessitate abortion. If the parents commit to the transfer of every fertilized embryo, and then follow through, regardless of how births unfold (as friends of mine admirably did some years back!), all of these babies have the opportunity to grow to viability. Ethical docs will still only transfer the appropriate number of embryos at once (at roughly the time of the "octomom," that was, in my friend's case, 3 for the initial transfer & 5 for the later ones, to compensate for decreasing likelihood of viability with storage).
Another pro-life outgrowth of IVF is "snowflake adoption," in which, rather than arranging an infant adoption from a pregnant mom, a couple (ideally) legally adopts unused embryos for implantation into the woman and proceeds accordingly (depending on their fertility situation)! I don't know anyone personally who has undertaken this process; I imagine it shares many of the legal and other complications of a traditional adoption -- as well as a few more! -- not to mention the added physical complications. But -- it sidesteps aborting some babies! 🤗

I got into an argument with a female friend about this exact subject. She refused to believe that men and women aren't born equal, and that men have a physical advantage over women in sport, and that the reason for male and female sport leagues is because of an sexist male hierarchy in society. I said Women have advantages over men though, and that it is not a bad thing with different sexes having different strengths and weaknesses, and that it is kinda beautiful that to be stronger men and women need each other. I quoted statistics, I said look at the world records for both male and female in sports. She looked at me like I had slapped her, she looked up the records, only looked at the female records and said "See, women are better at sports", and I said well compare those records to the men's and see that men mostly have higher records than women, she said no because there is no point. She proceeded to say my statistics were wrong and that my opinion is wrong. Note, I gave more evidence saying men have denser bones to which she said is a myth. First thing I did when I got home is typed in are men's bones denser than Women's on Google and all I got was reports talking about the biological differences between men and women, not even questioning it. Also note, she gave no evidence of her own to support her claims, not one shred of evidence. In the end after an hour, I just gave up in utter disbelief at how ignorant she was towards the facts, about how much she hated masculinity. She kept saying "I refuse to belief men are superior to women!!", to which I replied repeatedly "Who the hell is saying in this debate men are superior to women!! I said men and women have different strengths and weaknesses!! It just so happens men have the physical advantages according to all the evidence!!". These feminists just don't acknowledge facts. Note though, she is a nice person who is kind, but when that subject comes up it's like she has been brainwashed. It's scary.

In Western countries, people are taught to be happy for a reason.
because it makes a great profit
if they tell you you are not good enough, they make you buy more products.
      and it's short-term happiness.
In Asian countries such as Thailand and Sri Lanka, they are taught to be happy for no reason.
therefore they experience true freedom and happiness.
      These are the happiest countries.
They dont argue with each other, they are not punished for showing emotions and they appreciate each other.
If you show any type of emotion in America, they make fun of you because males are not allowed to be happy they are allowed only to make money, but not be truly happy and have a normal opinion that is not approved by a majority of people.

Here's the problem with "genders". Just because a person enjoys something that is traditionally part of the opposite sex, then they don't enjoy the thing, they must secretly be that sex! For instance, I hate baseball. I find it dull. I like cooking. My wife loves all forms of baseball. Does that mean that we are suddenly our opposite sex? Of course not! We just have things that we enjoy. The funny thing is, the idea of believing that you're another gender is a psychological disorder. In the same field, you're taught to not treat someone as the condition. Don't say that the person IS the mental disorder, but that they HAVE a mental disorder. The left is saying to ignore all psychological teachings and live via labels. It just astounds me.

    • @amyj4283
      @amyj4283 2 роки тому

There really isn’t a problem with genders” but the lefts conception of it that is deeply disordered and unscientific. The term gender did not apply to humans until the 1960s. Before then it was a way of understand linguistically masculine and feminine things; male man he him, female woman she her. Very useful in the Latin languages. Yes there have always been ideas and philosophies that distinguished between the two beings (man and woman). In no way does having different ideas about these two beings change them into the other thing.

Even though you're right that the song IS set up so that the woman - of herself - wants to stay - but is concerned that there will be talk - and because she WANTS to stay is wanting an excuse that she can use to persuade herself.
While that Is TRUE ... and your point is therefore valid ... i think it is a much more straight-forward and effective srguement to point out... not your interpretation of what she is feeling, as opposed to SAYING or DOING. Because that's what r*pe comes down to... saying no and not being heard.
What are they both saying or doing?
She says she is going to leave.
He wants her to stay a little longer.
She gives a list of reasons to go.
He gives a list of reasons to stay.
She agrees to stay a little longer
    The end.
It's not r*py BECAUSE there was no r*pe OR any attempt to r*pe.
He had not baracaded the door! He was not touching her....to restrain her from leaving or sexualy against her will!
If she had turned words into action "i should go home" she had only to walk out the door! And we have not one reason to think that would have resulted in anything besides her passing through the door and going home.
SHE didn't. SHE chooses to stay. SHE was pursuaded. SHE says yes. That is the exact opposite of r*pe.
A handful of priviledged women are going around looking for the next thing they can get offended over when a moodswing hits and this is the result.
R*pe is something real! And its aweful! One of the worst thing one human can do to another. And to turn it into something meaningless and tiring by saying: being talked into it, consenting but regretting it later, a 40's christmas song : is all r*pe... is an INSULT to the victims of the real thing.
NO - being talked into it... just words... no actual barrier to saying no and no implied danger to saying no... if you're like the woman in "oklahoma", who "just can't say no" ... that's on you, but it sure as heck isn't r*pe!
And regretting what you consented to last night, now that it's morning...also on you... so work in your own bad decidion making... bacause again ... not r*pe!
A 40s song where a girl says she SHOULD go and the guy tries to say: no please stay... and she CHOSES to stay for "one more drink".... and we know of nothing else even happening ... also not r*pe!
And by the way this song was written for a movie and happened to become popular....and in the movie scene where it is sung ...a handsome leading man tries to convince his beautiful date to stay.... WHILE an identical scene plays out with his friend, the comedian Red Skelton, who is with his date and for comedic effect, HE is trying to leave, and SHE is trying to seduce HIM into staying. Is SHE doing something wrong???
Nothing r*py in either scene, and thisbnot in the song ABOUT that scene.
These extremists just undermine theirownn cause by being this ridiculous!
But more seriously, they make everyone else with real issues look ridiculous along with them! And other women need to start telling them that they don't speak for us and to be quiet.

Could I suggest a "caesura" ...this comes from the movie Eddie and the Cruisers" ....it's a timely pause...maybe a strategic silence....why would you do this?
Well, I've watched a number of your videos.....
What I have observed is, that you think so fast that you run over almost anybody that might be listening..(or watching)... so, that's ok...Not my job to help direct you....but you have the natural tendency to run over people that you think are less intelligent than you...but if that's the case, why even bother to do what you do?
I have to say, I think you are one of the most intelligent people I've EVER listened to. You have a plan.? Wanna be president? Ok... possible....in time....

The number of genders is like channel searching on a TV. There was a time when two channels were fine. It was all we needed. Now, we digitally search and find anywhere from 100 to 150, and not one of them is worth a damn.

Modern feminism: "Men and women are basically the same!"
Me: "So, there's only 1 gender, right?"
Also modern feminism: "You can be any gender you want!"
Me: "So, there are an infinite number of genders, right?"
Me: "Stupid bullshitters!" ****Walks away from the movement and lives my life.****

I love it when Michael skewers Millenials, given he is a Millenial himself, born in the middle of the generation (1990). Millenials are anyone born between 1981 and 1996.

5 years later … Michael has ditched the glasses and no longer looks like Rachel Maddow. I swear though, it’s UNCANNY how much 2024 Michael looks like Michael Corleone from The Godfather Part 2. Not so much Part 1 or 3. But The Godfather Part 2. I think it’s the hair. I just watched it, and I couldn’t even see Al Pacino. All I could see was Michael Knowles, lol. Who else sees it??
