The Anxiety Prayer - Petition to Our Lord to Remove Worries, Fears, and Anxieties from Our Lives
We are so busy. Everything we do is quickly planned and executed because there is another responsibility or priority waiting for us just a few seconds later. All of the hustle and bustle of life, the to-dos, and the what-ifs cause so much stress and anxiety in our daily lives that we forget we are the children of God. He holds us in the palm of His Hand and His Protection is forever upon us. We become so enveloped in who we are and what we do, we forget the power and control He has through us to do His Will. When we struggle, we pray for God to remove the anxiety and stress, so that we may see His Glory, Blessings, and Mercy that abound in our lives.
Lord Jesus, please remove anything in our lives that does not come from You, that we may be filled with Your Holy Spirit and peace in our hearts. Amen.
Pray it often, pray it daily, pray for peace.
